전자광학추적장치의 공력특성연구를 위한 풍동시험을 수행하였다. 특히 실제 EOTS 작동중 관측부의 회전을 위한 작동기의 충분한 파워 측정을 위한 공력토크 특성을 조사하였다. EOTS의 관측창의 영향을 조사하기 위해 반구와 실린더로 이루어진 단순 모형 실험결과와의 비교를 수행하였다. 단순모형과 EOTS모형의 표면 압력을 비교한 결과를 통해 관측창의 위치에 따라 급격한 압력계수의 변화와 회전 관측부의 토크 특성에 많은 영향을 미치는 것을 발견하였다. Wind tunnel test for Electro-Optical Targeting System(EOTS) has been conducted to investigate the aerodynamic characteristics, especially the torque characteristics of the rotating parts to insure the enough actuator power during the actual operation. The influence of EOTS's complex configuration, such as the observation window, has been investigated by comparing with the results of the simplified models made of half sphere and the cylinder. It has been found that the position of the observation window of EOTS has an effect on surface pressure distribution and the torque characteristics of the rotating observation part.

Infrared thermography has been used as a nondestructive evaluation technique in the various fields of industries. In Korea, the infrared thermography technique has an increasing demand in the fields of defect detection and/or maintenance research. Although the research and development activities using infrared thermography technique have increased, the practical research activities in this field have been limited up to the present time. In this paper, various types of case studies in infrared thermography technique have been investigated, and the future application to the railway industries has been discussed.

Emergency lantern is an escape equipment of fire fighting. This equipment of obligation installation in buildings. But, We cast doubt on this equipment's reliability. Therefor we have need to study of this equipment's reliability. This paper research general emergency lantern for up grade reliability. For connection to fire alarm system, alarm for get lost general emergency lantern, and pilot lamp for interruption of electric power, and charge to rechargeable battery in general emergency lantern from fire alarm system. Then view very good result in reliability.
