        여성노인의 시설생활 극복경험

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand and analyze the experience of endure in a life-pattern of the institutionalized elderly women. Methods: The subject of the study consisted of five elders. Data was collected through 2008. July to 2008. September by individual in-depth interviews and analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological methodology. Results: As the results of analysis, Four categories were founded as follows: rumination due to an admission of institution, returned to myself, caring and balancing of own life, accept their reality and try to recover, and end of life with hope. Conclusion: The results of this study may be presented as a research material for taking care of institutionalized elderly women to endure their environments positively and contribute to enhance quality life of elderly by inducing negative mental state of institutional life to a positive mental state.

        초등학교 재량활동시간을 이용한 "우리가 만드는 따뜻한 교실" 프로그램이 비장애아동의 정서능력과 장애아동의 사회적 상호작용에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 한 초등학교의 6학년 장애아동(3명)과 장애아동이 속한 통합학급의 비장애아동(79명)을 대상으로 특수교사가 재량활동시간을 이용하여 "우리가 만드는 따뜻한 교실" 프로그램을 실행한 후 비장애아동의 정서능력과 장애아동의 사회적 상호작용에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. "우리가 만드는 따뜻한 교실" 프로그램은 자신과 타인의 감정을 인식하고 조절하기, 협력하기, 서로의 차이 이해하기, 행동하기 전에 생각하기 등을 주요 내용으로 하고 여기에 장애아동과 비장애아동간의 사회적 관계 증진을 위한 활동들을 포함하여 구성되었다. 비장애아동의 정서능력은 초등학교 고학년용 정서지능 진단검사를 사용하여 사전검사와 사후검사 간에 유의한 차이가 있는지 검증하였고, 장애아동의 사회적 상호작용은 대상자간 중다기초선설계를 이용하여 측정하였다. 본 연구의 결과 비장애아동의 경우 프로그램 실시 전후의 점수 간에 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 장애아동의 사회적 상호작용은 향상 및 유지된 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a program, "Let`s make a happy class", on the emotional competency of nondisabled children and on the social interaction of children with disabilities in three inclusive classes in an elementary school. Three 6th-grade children with disabilities and their 79 peers participated in the study. The main contents of the program included emotional awareness and control, cooperations with each other, understanding of differences among individuals, and the ability to think before taking any actions. As a result of a total of ten sessions of program implementation(two sessions per week), this study found that: (1) in case of children without a disability, no significant statistical differences in emotional competency were observed between before and after the intervention program, and that (2) the social interactions with peers of the three children with disabilities increased and the increased interaction was maintained two weeks after the program was terminated. Limitations of the study and suggestions for future research are provided.

        This study was analyzed the experiences of nurses working for elderly patients in hospitals in order to understand the fundamental meanings of the experiences and to use the results for better practices in nursing of elderly patients. Method: Data was collected through in-depth interviews with eight nurses and the data were analysed by Colaizzi's phenomenological methods. Results: The nurses experiences were characterized into four main categories. ‘Vocation for taking care of the aged’, ‘Accumulation of experiential properties’, ‘Arduousness of the work’, ‘Continuous self-development’. Conclusion: These studies can provide useful information for the development of a better way in elderly nursing, and eventually can improve the quality of life of elderly patients.

        청년기 입원환자와 일반인의 성특성, 성만족에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to identify sexual satisfaction, aspects of sexuality and altered sexuality after hospitalization in the adult patient, and to compared with the healthy adult's sexual satisfaction and aspects of sexuality. The data were collected from 13th to 22th May 1998 using questionnaire composing of items of general characteristics, sexual self-esteem, sexualdepression, sexual-preoccupation, sexual satisfaction and altered sexuality after hospitalization. Using the SAS ststistical program, T-test, Chi Square Test, Pearson Correlation and Stepwise Regression were analyzed. The results obtained from this study were as follows : 1. There was a significant difference between the adult patients and the healthy adults in education level and occupation. 2. There was a insignificant difference between the adult patients and the healthy adults in sexual satisfaction, sexual-esteem sexual-depression, and sexual-preoccupation. 3. No relationships were demonstrated between length time since hospitalization and sexualesteem, sexual-preoccupation, and sexual-depression in the adult patients. 4. In question of compared with sexuality before and after hospitalization, the most frequent item was "sexuality after hospitalization was reduced than that of before hospitalization" and 66.67%. Also, in solving method of sexuality, "being patient" was 67.33% . 5. In the relationships between general characteristics and aspects of sexuality of the adult patients, sex, occupation, education level, total income and age showed a statistically significant difference. Also, there was a significant difference between total income, education level, age and duration of marrage in relationships in between general characteristics and sexual satisfaction. 6. In the relationships between aspects of sexuality and general characteristics of the healthy adults, sex, occupation, education level, total income and age was significantly different. But, significant difference was not demonstrated between sexual satisfaction and general characteristics. 7. Statistically significant direct relationships were demonstrated between sexuality satisfaction and sexual-esteem (r=.69), sexuality satisfaction and sexual-preocupation (r=.47), whereas reverse relationships were demonstrated between sexuality satisfaction and sexual-depression (r=-.75), sexual-esteem and sexual-depression (r=-.79), and sexual-preoccupation and sexual-depression(r=-.42). 8. Factor affecting aspects of the adult patients's sexuality was sexual satisfaction before hospitalization and explained 45%. 9. In open question about solving methods of sexuality, the most frequent item was "going out or sleeping out" in the adult patients.
