BIM 적용을 위한 계획설계 단계의 파라메트릭 설계방법에 관한 연구 - 교과교실제 설계를 중심으로 -

This study has revisited the definition and characteristics of BIM to contribute to the better understanding of this concept. For the successful application of BIM in architectural design field, it should start with public buildings like schools which can be standardized. Since a number of conditions of school design appear to suit the schematic design phase for BIM application more than do other types of building design, the viability of BIM was examined by applying parametric modeling(one of BIM's basic characteristics) to mass study in schematic design phase for the configuration of schools that adopt the variation type of subject classroom design of the $7^{th}$ National Educational Curriculum. In addition, this modeling technique was used with software of Rhino 3D and Grasshopper, which will have a linkage to environmental analysis in near future. Finally, it can be expected that the work efficiency will be maximized if BIM is going to be applied in the early design stage instead of the end stage.
유비쿼터스 공간 기반 스마트 홈 서비스 시나리오 개발 연구 (I)

Since 90's information technology(IT) has been developed rapidly owing to the government's investment of infrastructures related to electrical information and communication. Especially, in case of housing, smart home evolved from HA(Home Automation) and HN(Home Network) emerged in the early 2000's. However, smart home researches have been dominated by the 'Technology Push' style initiatives although the ultimate goal of the studies on smart home is to maximize the usability of such technologies by guaranteeing their effective functionalities in residential spaces and by adapting them to diversified user requirements. Namely, smart home researches for 'Demand Pull' style are needed. For this, investigations on the integration of resident-centered architectural space with fundamental IT technologies are required.As the first step of such researches, the establishment of service scenario development method as well as the scenarios themselves could be pursued by analysing resident's life style in various perspectives, collecting systematic scenario development frameworks, and exploring optimum method adaptive to our socio-cultural contexts. At last, the final result is proposing a new service scenario development framework and service scenarios for silver housing.
A Research on the Proposal of U-Pavilion adopted in Korean Residential Development

Over the past two decades following the 1990s, South Korea’s IT industry has developed rapidly. In keeping with this trend, the architectural and urban planning sectors have also converged with IT and achieved advancement in new directions. This evolution includes a variety of conceptual terminologies such as ‘home automation’, ‘home network’, ’smart home’, and ‘ubiquitous-city’. However, smart homes and U-cities simply represent a conceptual extension of home networks, and there is little real difference in the technologies involved. In particular, U-cities remain focused on infrastructure rather than on the development of specific content; consequently, they have failed to demonstrate distinctive features to clearly differentiate themselves from conventional cities. In such a context, this research aims at the proposal of a ‘ubiquitous pavilion’ as a component of the efforts to develop a range of architectural contents that utilize ubiquitous technologies. By grafting the pavilion, one of the most basic forms in architecture, with cutting-edge ubiquitous technologies, this paper intends to suggest a multi-purpose architectural space readily and simply available not only in newly emerging U-cities, but to conventional cities as well.
유비쿼터스 공간 기반 실버 주거 시나리오 개발 연구(Ⅱ)

Since the beginning of 2000, the research of ubiquitous-based dwelling system(U-dwelling system) has been conducted in Korea in order to effectively respond to rapidly increasing aging society. Unfortunately, however this research has been targeted only towards high-income older people, mainly focusing on technology. In addition, the U-dwelling system under research does not consider various factors such as life style, value, attitude as well as residents' physical and mental characteristics. Therefore, in order to prepare for a super-aging society, it is essential to conduct research on U-dwelling service for the elderly with low-income. For this study, 45 ~ 64 aged males and females were surveyed and the result of it was applied to the scenario. In particular, so as to ensure objectivity and representative of the suggested scenario, life cycle of general older people was analyzed and scenario was developed on the basis of this life cycle. Technologies necessary for establishing U-dwelling system were extracted from a part of the scenario. Those technologies were mainly divided into three parts: technologies completely developed; technologies needed to be compensated and upgraded; and technologies needed to be developed. With the above processes, technical roadmap was developed and suggested.
