VBA(Visual Basic for Applications)를 활용한 실외 수직면 조도 간이계산법에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to predict vertical illuminance accurately at the design stage of a building without the help of simulation tools. Comparing two well-known vertical illuminance prediction algorithms with measured values, it is verified that the Igawa model is more consistent with the measured values than the Perez model. Using the DIVA program, we simulated the vertical illuminance at 30-degree intervals from south to north, compared with the vertical illuminance calculated with the Igawa model. The result of calculation values were verified from 120 degrees east to 120 degrees west. The vertical illuminance values with each of three shade devices were calculated using the Igawa model, and compared with the vertical illuminance simulated by DIVA program. As a result, all the errors when installing horizontal / vertical / grid shade divices were included in the error standard specified by ASHRAE.
다양한 천공상태 및 외부 방해물 조건에서 실내주광조도의 평가를 위한 분할광속법의 개선에 관한 연구

It is important to understand the distribution of luminance of the sky as accurately as possible. The purpose of this study is to modify split flux method, formulae for daylight factor(DF), with variable sky conditions and obstructions. Split flux method has been modified continuously through a number of previous studies. And several studies had also applied this formula not only to the CIE overcast sky but also to the other CIE standard skies. CIE standard skies are studied based on measurement data of real sky. In existing research of split flux, there was no direct sun component in SC(Sky component). So there are 4 cases to modify split flux method with direct sky component, and best case is picked to compare with Desktop radiance program. And also obstructions threw a shadow over 145 sky patchs for the consideration of external obstruction. As a result, the outputs of remodified formulae are improved and outputs of considering external obstruction are enhanced.

Daylighting has a great effect on people inside the room. It is also closely related to the lighting energy consumption. Daylight factor(DF) is a very important index for evaluation of the daylighting in overcast sky. The objective of this study is to verify the suitability of the Tregenza"s Modified Split Flux formula for the calculation of the daylight factor. We compared the daylight factors calculated by two methods; one by a measurement with 1/5 scale model and the other by the Daysim program. We used variables for verification as window wall ratios(WWR) and angles of the sky visible. As a result, daylight factor calculated by Modified Split Flux is similar to the measurement when more daylight enters the inside. And error is significantly increased when the angle of the sky visible is 50°.

Sclerosing peritonitis is a rare but fatal complication of peritoneal dialysis (PD). Management of sclerosing peritonitis includes cessation of PD, total parenteral nutrition, and surgery. Recently, a few reports have indicated immunosuppression might be beneficial in sclerosing peritonitis. In these reports, all of patients had the combination therapy of steroid and immunosuppressant. A 37-year old man develped sclerosing peritonitis 3 months after switching from PD to hemodialysis because of uncontrolled peritonitis. An abdominal computed tomography (CT) scan demonstrated massive ascites with multilocuated fluid collection and extensive enhancement of the peritoneum. A peritoneal biopsy showed proliferation of fibrous collagenous tissue with infiltration of lymphocytes. We started corticosteroid for one month. A follow-up CT scan showed complete resolution with absence of peritoneum thickness and fluid collection 16 months after corticosteroid therapy. The paient currently remains free of symptoms in an outpatient hemodialysis unit. To our knowledge, this is the first case of sclerosing peritonitis successully treated with corticosteroid therapy alone in Korea. (Korean J Nephrol 2004;23(1):169-173)
