This study deals with the microvalve, which is composed of the multilayer bender type PZT actuator, actuator controller and microvalve body. The object of this study is to develope the microvalve with multilayer bender type PZT actuator. In order to achieve this object, prototype PZT actuator and microvalve were suggested and manufactured. Also, the performance of this model was evaluated through the experiments.

Common type of servovalves is to control flowrate measuring and diagnosis of servovalve`s hysteresis is based upon analysis of flowrate signal. The ISO 10770-1 and KS B 6511 regulations for servovalve`s hysteresis are also established from analysis of flowrate signal. The measurement of flow is hard to implement. In this study, some hysteresis diagnosis methods are investigated to use pressure signal and spool displacement signal. Three kinds of hysteresis; flowrate hysteresis, pressure hysteresis and spool displacement hysteresis are measured from an experiment set-up. Two kinds of pressure hysteresis; pressure gain hysteresis and no-load pressure hysteresis are investigated. The spool displacement hysteresis is found to be the most accurate and pressure hysteresis are also good enough as well as flow hysteresis. The pressure gain hysteresis shows a little error from other hysteresis, and it is estimated because geometric dimension error of spool and sleeve affects the hysteresis.

We have processed the developing of vane damper with accurate control by using bevel gear which is a flow-control equipment of marine boiler's FD fan on this research. For the developing of vane damper, we have corrected some problem from welding & assembly process by changing the design, and for the case of an emergency case, we have applied the easy disassembly & assembly on that vane damper. Compared to rink type vane damper in current, we have focused on high efficiency with low price of that new developing damper. For selection of actuator, we have tried to find the propriety with our developing focus. Also, we have developed a jig of assembly processing for high productivity with quality, it caused the best assembly performance with heat-treated & processed parts.

A poppet valve has better specification on responsibility and leakage than a spool valve. But poppet valve has disadvantage on fluid flow force because poppet lie on unstable suspension condition that is supported by mechanical spring and electro magnetic force. If poppet system is unstable in the valve, poppet raises system’s noise and decreases system’s responsibility. To avoid poppet’s bad affection, poppet valve has to analysis its stability when valve was designed. A poppet valve’s stability already had studied when its parameters were changed such as poppet’s shape, displacement, spring constant. This study concerns about mathematical model for poppet valve system that deals with fluid flow force. For this purpose, poppet valve’s flow force was induced by momentum theory on divergent flow condition. And induced flow force was imported on poppet’s motion equation.

This paper is a study to apply EPPR valve for the electronic control of variable displacement hydraulic piston pump. In order to adjust the displacement of the pump, a regulator capable of controlling the swash plate angle is required. I apply the EPPR valve which is a valve that controls the output pressure by proportional current. It can be applied to control the swash plate angle with the advantage of excellent response, competitive price and electronic control. So this study deals with the development of analytical model and analysis of characteristics of EPPR valve by using SimulationX.
