본 연구는 귀농에 대한 관심이 제고되고 정부와 지방자치단체의 귀농수요에 대비한 적극적인 대응이 이루어지고 있는 상황에서 집행현장인 기초자치단체의 귀농지원 체계를 분석하고 정책적 시사점을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 충남지역 11개 기초자치단체의 귀농관련 자치법규를 대상으로 귀농지원 목적, 귀농지원 대상, 귀농지원 수단의 측면에서 분석하였다. 귀농지원체계에 대한 정책적 시사점은 다음과 같다. 실질적인 귀농지원이 가능하도록 조례 및 규칙의 제ㆍ개정, 영농지원과 농업인력 확보라는 제한적 측면보다는 농촌활성화의 맥락에서 귀농지원 목적의 변화, 귀농지원 대상의 확대, 실질적 집행기능을 담당하는 귀농조직의 운영, 영농지원 사업에 있어서 교육훈련 사업의 강화, 귀촌과 귀농자 가족을 중시하는 농촌정주 지원, 인접 지역 자치단체별 또는 영농특성 및 산업별로 적정 규모의 지원 등을 제시하였다.

Static and dynamic structural analyses of a turbine bladed-disk for a liquid rocket turbopump are performed to investigate the safety level of strength and vibration at design point. During operation, turbopump is exposed to various external loads. Therefore, the effects of them should be carefully considered and properly modeled. First, due to the high rotational speed of the turbopump, effects of centrifugal forces are considered in the structural analysis. Thermal load caused by severe temperature differences is also considered. A three dimensional finite element method (FEM) is used for linear and nonlinear structural analyses with modified Newton-Raphson iteration method. After the nonlinear solution is obtained from the structural analysis, dynamic characteristics are obtained as a function of rotational speed from the linearized eigenvalue analysis at an equilibrium position. From the analysis results, characteristics of stress distribution and vibration were thoroughly examined and investigated.

Large steel water pipes are joined prevalently by the bell end method, and are welded both at inside and outside of lapped parts. In practice, welded joints of water pipes are very critical, because in most cases failure of pipes causing leakage occurs at the welded joint. Therefore some methods have been developed to ensure the soundness of welded joints of water pipes, like leakage tests and nondestructive tests (NDTs). But one of the major characteristics that affects the soundness of welded Joints is the stress distribution caused by welding and external forces. Some studies have been carried out on the residual stress of steel water popes, but complex stress distributions by welding and external forces are rarely studied. In this study, temperature and stress distributions in steel water pipes produced by welding are predicted by a three-dimensional finite element method(FEM). Also, stress values are measured from real steel water pipes by the hole-drilling methods, and compared with predicted ones. The influence of some typical post weld treatments on residual stress distribution was also investigated by residual stress measurements.
Visualization of the Origin of the Vertebral Arteries with Color Doppler Sonography

Background/aim : Atherosclerotic disease at the origin of the vertebral arteries is one of the risk factors for vertebrobasilar ischemic disease. Assessment and visualization of the origin of the vertebral arteries with color doppler sonography is a non-trivial task. The aim of this study is to increase the visualization rate of the origin of the vertebral arteries with color doppler sonography. Materials and Methods : Color doppler sonography for the vertebral arteries included carotid arteries was performed to 198 patients. We first examined the vertebral artery in the upper neck in the direction of the subclavian artery to distinguish its origin more easily. If the vertebral artery origin was not visualized in natural position, the examiner pushed the transducer toward a clavicle or pushed the shoulder of patient by the other hand. The technical methods for visualization of the vertebral artery origin were classified into three grades : natural position, pushing the transducer, and pushing the shoulder of patient according to the depth (3.0cm and shallower, deeper than 3.0cm) of the origin. Results : The origin of the vertebral arteries could be visualized in 97% on the right and in 92% on the left. The origin of the vertebral arteries could be visualized in 98.6%, 1.4%, and 0.0% in natural position, pushing the transducer, and pushing the shoulder of patient, respectively, at shallower than 3.0cm on the right side. The origin of the vertebral arteries could be visualized in 81.2%, 14.6%, and 4.2% in natural position, pushing the transducer, and pushing the shoulder of patient, respectively, at deeper than 3.0cm on the right side. The origin of the vertebral arteries could be visualized in 85.4%, 10.7%, and 3.9% in natural position, pushing the transducer, and pushing the shoulder of patient, respectively, at shallower than 3.0cm on the left side. The origin of the vertebral arteries could be visualized in 55.7%, 30.4%, and 13.9% in natural position, pushing the transducer, and pushing the shoulder of patient, respectively, at deeper than 3.0cm on the left side. Conclusion : If the examiner pushes the transducer toward a clavicle or pushes the shoulder of patient by the other hand, when the vertebral artery origin during the color doppler sonography is not visualized in natural position, visualization rate of the origin of the both vertebral arteries is increased.
