Ⅲ. 腐熟糞尿의 施肥가 배추의 生育과 收量에 미치는 影響

The human excrements sampled in Kwangju city were kept in the tank of storage for two months or more, in order to decay excrements and kill the parasite in the excrements completely. The decayed excrements obtained from the above treatment, and the fresh excrements were dressed on the Chinese cabdage. The results that we surveyed the effect of the excrements on the growth and yields of the Chinese cabbage were summarized as follows; 1. The diameter of bulbs were 16.2cm Control, 19.lcm in the fresh excrements and 20.6cm in the decayed excremets plot. The decayed excrements plot was greater than the other treatments(L. S. D. =2.50, 5% level). 2. The length of bulbs were 23.5cm in Control, 29.5cm in the fresh excrements plot and 29.3cm in the decayed excrements plot. Among these treatments, the decayed treatment plot was the highest in length(L. S. D. =4.09, 5% level). 3. The number of leaves were 73.8 in Control, 88.lcm in the fresh excrements plot and 95.3 in the decayed excrements plot, but there was no significance among treatments (L. S. D.=17.35, 5% level). 4. The weight of bulbs were 2,450.5g in Control, 2,736.7g in the fresh excrements plot and 2,876.3g in the decayed excrements plot. The decayed excrements plot was heavier than the other treatments(L. S. D. =22.05, 1% level). 5. The total weight were 58,937kgs in Control, 65.682kgs in the fresh excrements plot and 93,030kgs in the decayed excrements plot. From the above results, the decayed excrements plot showed the highest yields(L. S. D.=22,05, 5% level).
施肥量 및 施肥方法이 藺草의 品質과 收量 및 俊作벼의 收量에 미치는 影響

In order to investigate the effects of mounts of fertilizer applyed and methods of fertilizer application on quality of Mat rush and its yields, and to study the suitable rice variety as a post-crop and its yields, this experiment was conducted at the field of Agricultural College, Chonnam National University in 1972. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1) The weight of dry stem in Mat rush is 20% higher in heavy manuring and 5% higher in medium manuring than standard plot. 2) Although the total weight of dry stem did not show the significant difference between the weight of 3 times dressing and that of 5 times dressing, the weight of 5 times dressing have the tendency to be 9% higher in the long grown Mat rush than that of 3 times dressing. 3) The index of yields in the heavy manuring plot, in the long grown Mat rush, was 34% higher than that of customary plot. 4) The variety of Nihonbare showed a remarkable increase in yields, the weight of brown rice of Nihonbare per 10a was 422.4kgs comparing with 91.5kgs for Suwon No. 214 as a post-crop. 5) There was no significant difference between treatments on both Nihonbare and Suwon No. 214.
