The 30 year’s history of petrochemical plants in Korea should face potential incidents, so reliability analysis of rotating equipment, high pressure vessels, and pipelines is mainly needed to prevent catastrophic incidents. In this study we first focused on rotating equipment incidents which play the most important role in total loss of the facilities. A-ERA (Advanced Equipment Reliability Analyzer) software has been developed to perform the failure data collection and analysis for rotating equipment in ethylene, high-density polyethylene, and propylene plants. The taxonomy of rotating equipment was classified into compressor, pump, electric motor, electric generator, steam turbine, turbo expander, gas turbine, and combustion engine. Thefailure modes were defined in terms of vibration, noise, and lubricant. The analysis results will be available to decide which equipment is to be maintained with care for reliability-centered maintenance.

The one purpose of the research is to analyse the rate of job satisfaction of anesthetic nurses in terms of the safety needs and the social needs, etc. The second purpose is to analyse how the rate is affected by the general characteristics of respondents and the characteristics of their hospitals, and other factors. The questionaires for this research were collected from 84 Korean anesthetic nurses from November 6, 1990 to December 22 1990. The results of the research are as follows : 1. The general characteristics of questionaire respondents. age : 26·30 years old(57% ) sex : woman(82% ) marital status : married(69% ) educational level : professional nursing college(95% ) religion : protestant(55%) period of general nurse's experience : 3 years over(52%) 2. The characteristics of the respondent's duting hospitals. duting organ : general hospital(51 %) the existence of anesthesiologist : existence(86% ) the number of monthly anesthetizations : 201-300 cases(57% ) the monthly payment for the nurses : 760-1000 thousands won(37 % ) the number of anesthetic nurse : 6·10 persons(52% ) 3. The factors affecting the job satisfaction. desired duration of employment : life time(76% ) inotives of employment : one's personal idea(50%) the desired working place in case of leaving : clinic(,58% ) 4. Level of job satifaction with job satisfaction component. The level of need satisfaction showed an average score 3.49 out of 5.0. The autonomy needs 4.12 was the highest among the components of satisfaction and was presented self actualization needs 3.93, esteem needs 3.74, social needs 3.13, safety needs 2.51. 5. Significant relationship of job satisfaction with respondent's general characteristics. 6. Significant relationship of job satisfaction with duting hospital characteristic. Duting organ P˂0.05, the number of monthly anesthetizations P˂0.01, level of the monthly payment P˂0.01 was presented significant level. 7. Significant relationship of job satisfaction with influencing factor. Duration of desired employment P˂0.01, motives of employment P˂0.01, was presented significant level.
鹽析法에 의한 물-아세토니트릴 溶液中의 鐵(Ⅲ)의 시차-펄스 폴라로그래프法的 定量

After iron(Ⅲ) was extracted into acetonitrile layer as iron(Ⅲ)-acetylacetonate from the buffered aqueous solution(pH=6.5) by the salting-out technique, the differential pulse polarograms of the iron(Ⅲ)-acetylacetonate in organic phase were recorded. From the peak height of the polarogram, the quantites of iron(Ⅲ) in the aqueous solution were determined. In this experiment, we have used ammonium sulfate as salting-out reagent and tetraethyl ammonium perchlorate as a supporting electrolyte. In order to investigate the type of reduction currents in the polarographic wave of iron(Ⅲ)-acetylacetonate, dependence of the limiting current on changing mercury head and the solution temperature have been estimated. The results were shown that the reduction current of iron(Ⅲ)-acetylacetonate was diffusion-controlled. The effect of the diverse ions and the calibration curve for the determination of iron(Ⅲ) by the differential pulse polarographic method have been evaluated. The diffusion current was proportional to the concentration of iron(Ⅲ) in the range of 0.05-1.68 ppm.
