The purpose of this study was to identify how do Korean elementary and secondary students conceptualize living things and nonliving things. Fear this study, a total of 965 students at elementary and secondary school levels were sampled in Korea, and a questionnaire of paper test was administered to them. The results were as follows. 1. Many students identified traits of living, things with traits of animals, vertebrates' mammals, men, etc.. 2. More students chose three animal items living things among sixteen items consisted of things animate and inanimate. 3. Half of students misunderstood embryos as inanimate objects.

In this paper, the detection efficiency of a photoelectric fire detector were studied according to the chamber structure and characteristics of smoke concentration change.
제오차 교육과정에 따른 고등학교 생물교과서의 비교 분석 연구

For the purpose of serving the valuable information far the biology banks of senior high school to be applied from 1990 educational year, the contents of the experiments and observations contained in 8 different kinds of 'general science I' and 7 different kinds of 'biology' books of senior high school developed by the new fifth curriculum. were analyzed, and the obtained conclusions are as follows: 1. Average frequency scores of the experiments and observations among 8 different kinds of biology books are 11 times in 'general science I' and 13 times in 'biology', and there are great differences of those. 2. The requiting domains an their experiments arid observations are emphasized on observations and confirmation for principles and theories, and main contents are physiology. 3. Total 43 different kinds of material organisms are used, and especially vertebrates and vascular plants are repeatedly served, The order of using frequencies of their material organisms are human, frog arid onion. 4. The importance for the evaluation of experiments and observations is increased, but the viewpoints and criteria of objective evaluation are insufficient.
LED용 실리콘 봉지재의 경화방법이 신뢰성에 미치는 영향

Encapsulant curing in terms of convection oven leads to thermal induced stress due to nonuniform thermal conductivity in LED package. We have adopted infrared (IR) light for silicone curing in order to release the stress. The light uniformity irradiated on an encapsulant surface is confirmed to be uniform by optical simulation. Shear strength of die paste using IR compared to convection oven is increased 19.2% at the same curing time, which indicates curing time can be shortened. The indentation depth difference between center and edge of silicone encapsulant in terms of convection oven and IR are 14.8% and 3.4%, respectively. Curing by IR also shows 2.3% better radiant flux persistency rate of LED at $85^{\circ}C$ after 1,000 h reliability test compared to convection curing.

LED는 오랫동안 가전제품이나 각종 기계의 표시소자로 사용되어 왔으나, 최근 LED가 고휘도화 되면서 LED를 이용한 조명제품 개발이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RGB LED를 이용한 LED 전구를 설계하기 위해 광학설계 프로그램 LightTools을 이용하였다. RGB LED의 비율과 배치에 따른 태양광과 비슷한 백색광을 얻기 위해 RGB LED의 비율을 R:G:B=1:1.5:3 하여 CIE 색좌표 x:y=0.342: 0.291, 색온도 5100[K]의 값을 얻었다. RGB LED의 대칭, 원형, 간격별 배열에 따른 배치를 통하여 색좌표 x:y= 0.337: 0.297인 백색광을 얻었다. 이 같은 결론을 바탕으로 RGB LED전구를 설계하였다.
