        기업의 사회적 책임과 학교경제교육에서의 기업 교육

        기업의 사회적 책임은 기업에 대한 사회의 기대를 충족시키기 위한 기업의 경제적, 법적, 윤리적, 자선적 책임을 포함하는 개념이다. 최근 세계적으로 이에 대한 중요성이 재인식되기 시작하면서 기업의 사회적 책임에 대한 국제적 표준(ISO 26000) 제정도 거의 마무리 단계에 들어서고 있다. 우리나라의 기업들도 2000년 이후 윤리헌장을 제정하는 등 전체적으로 윤리경영활동을 강화해나가고 있다. 그러나 우리의 교육과정에서 기업윤리와 기업의 사회적 책임에 대한 내용은 이러한 세계적 추세와는 반대로 교육과정이 개정될수록 약화되어가고 있다. 6차 교육과정에서 명시적으로 등장했던 기업윤리와 기업의 사회적 책임은 개정교육과정에서 모두 삭제되었고 기업과 노동자의 경제적 역할과 책임이 같은 수준에서 다루어지고 있다. 국가수준의 교육과정에서 시장과 기업에 대한 내용이 어느 한쪽으로 지나치게 편향되지 않았는지 반성해 볼 필요가 있다. This study purpose to review business ethics education in middle and high school curriculum by reviewing recent global trends in Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR). CSR has become a global key word in business administration recently. The efforts to make it as global standard almost come to an end as ISO 26000. Most big companies in Korea also have business ethics manual and education system for CSR. However, contents on business ethics and CSR has gradually disappeared as the National curriculum changed from 6th to 2009 revised curriculum. This trend does not accord with global movement which emphasize the CSR as global standard. We need to be more careful whether school education on business activity is inclined to one side too far. We need to remember that every economic agency has responsibility as well as freedom in economic activity in market.

        중,고등학생의 경제적 성향과 경제 사고력 연구

        본 연구는 ‘위험에 대한 태도’와 ‘경쟁 및 평등에 대한 태도’의 두 가지 요인을 중심으로 중·고등학생들의 경제적 성향 및 경제사고려겨과 관련된 다양한 특성을 분석한 것으로 주요 발견 사항은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라의 중·고등학생들은 전체적으로 안전을 추구하면서도 경쟁보다는 평등을 보다 선호하는 경향을 보였다. 둘째, 위험에 대한 태도는 전체적으로 소득이 높은 가정의 남자 고등학생이 상대적으로 가장 적극적인 성향을 보이고 있었으며, 가정의 소득이 높고 학교 성적이 좋은 AB형의 혈액형을 가진 남학생 집단에서 경쟁에 가장 적극적인 성향을 보였다. 셋째, 학생들의 경제적 사고력은 성, 가정소득, 혈액형, 그리고 학생들의 경제 성향에 따른 집단 간에는 유의성 있는 차이를 보이지 않았다. This study purposes to analyse economic characteristics of middle and high school students, focusing on their economic attitudes and economic thinking. Main findings arc as follows; First, the overall trends of student`s economic attitudes turn out to be risk and competition averse. The ratio of students who arc both risk and competition averse is 42%. while the ratio of students with the opposite side(risk and competition lover) is 11%. Second, middle school students and female students are more likely risk averse than high school students and male students. Male students with higher household income and better school records have more positive attitudes towards competition. Third, student`s economic thinking does not show statistically significant difference according to student`s gender. household income, blood type, and economic attitude.

        중학교 경제 담당 교사의 경제수업에 대한 자신감 결정 요인 분석

        This paper purposes to analyze the determinants of teachers` confidence in educating economics at middle school in Korea using categorical data analysis. Teachers` confidence in economic education is very important since it is closely related with teachers` economic knowledge level which is known to be a critical factor for students` educational performance. For the analysis, we use the KEEA(Korea Economic Education Association)`s 2010 survey data which was answered nation-widely by 1910 economics teachers at 1710 middle schools in Korea. We find that teachers` confidence is determined mainly by their academic background, i.e. the more opportunities of studying economics they have during their undergraduate as well as graduate period, the more confidence they tend to have in economic education. Teachers who had more than three economic classes tend to have higher confidence compared with teachers less than two economics classes through their academic career, and teachers who participate academic research group also have higher confidence. Particularly, it is notable that male teachers have higher confidence than female teachers at a significant level. From these results, we conclude that an effective incentive system needs to be established to encourage teachers effort to study economics while working as a teacher.

        지식기반사회에서의 서울(수도권)-지방간 격차 현황과 지방대학의 역할

        It is well known that the inequality between Seoul and local areas in Korea is one of the serious problems in Korea. This paper purposes to study the role of local universities under the empirical study of inequalities reality between Seoul and the other 15 local provinces by comparing 39 indicators in 8 different sectors; residential population, economic activity level, overall local income level, arts and cultural circumstances, public goods and services, commercial convenience service, professional human resources, knowledge base and activities. In this study, the degree of inequalities in each sector is presented with relative indexes to residential population inequalities. This analysis shows that inequalities between Seoul and local provinces exist seriously especially in three critical sectors, i.e. overall local income level, professional human resources, and knowledge basis and activities. As we think of the importance of the knowledge basis in the regional development in the new millenium, current situation is quite pessimistic for the future of Korea. The policy implication of this study is that policy instruments towards nation-wide balanced development need to be concentrated, first of all, on the expansion of professional and expert human resources in local areas. Without this breakthrough, it is hard to expect for local areas to find out development engines by themselves in the knowledge based society.(Kyungpook National Univ./ Kajwa Middle School)

        중,고둥학생의 행복에 중요한 것은 무엇인가?

        This study purposes to find out the main factors of happiness for adolescences in Korea. This study is composed three parts. First, we measure students`` degree of happiness by surveying 10 questions on personal, family, and school life. Second, We examine the significance of difference of happiness among groups. Third, we analyse the effects of each factor on the degree of happiness by OLS regression. Main findings are as follows. First, student``s overall degree of happiness is positioned around 64 percentile. Student``s ``academic record`` has the lowest degree of satisfaction, while ``relationship with family`` has the highest satisfaction among 10 factors. Second, household income turns out to be the most important factor for student``s happiness as a whole. However, it is notable that household income does not show any significance for the student``s school satisfaction. Student``s academic record and education level of household``s head turns out to be the most important factor on school student``s school satisfaction. Third, male students are generally happier than female students especially in personal and school aspects, while type of blood and residential place do not show significant difference for student``s happiness. From this result, we need to have a deep concern to make school as a healthy community in which student``s personal and family problems are melted down.
