        주거 공간에서 고령자 청력손실을 고려한 소음 및 잔향에 따른 음성 전송 성능의 주관적 평가

        본 논문은 주거공간에서 고령자 청력손실을 고려한 소음 및 잔향에 따른 음성 전송 성능을 청취실험을 통해 평가하였다. 주거환경 소음으로 바닥충격음, 교통소음, 공기전달음과 배수소음을 대상으로 하였으며, 공동주택의 잔향환경을 모사하기 위해 실내음향 컴퓨터시뮬레이션을 실시하여 충격응답를 추출하였다. 청취실험 음원은 고령자 청력손실(65세 남성)을 반영하기 위해 소음 및 단어 음원의 고주파대역의 음압레벨을 저감시킨 음원(고령자 음원)과 정상청력을 반영한 원음(청년 음원)을 대상으로 하였다. 청취실험은 각각 3개의 소음레벨($L_{Aeq}$ 30, 40, 50 dB)과 잔향시간(0.5, 1.0, 1.5 s)을 갖는 음환경 조건에서 제시된 단어($L_{Aeq}$ 55 dB)의 음성요해도(speech intelligibility)와 듣기 어려운 정도(listening difficulty)를 평가하는 것으로 하였다. 청취실험 결과, 음성레벨이 55 dB($L_{Aeq}$)일 때 잔향시간 1.0 s 이하 조건에서 충격소음(점핑음) 50 dB($L_{i,Fmax,AW}$)와 정상소음(도로, 음악, 배수 소음) 40 dB($L_{Aeq}$) 이하의 소음레벨에서는 고령자 및 청년 음원 모두 90 % 이상의 음성요해도와 30 % 이하의 듣기 어려운 정도를 확보할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 고령자 청력손실을 반영한 고령자 음원의 경우 청년 음원 보다 음성요해도는 0 % ~ 5 % 낮았고 듣기 어려운 정도는 2 % ~ 10 % 높은 것으로 나타났다. This study investigated the effect of noise and reverberation on subjective measure of speech transmission performance for elderly person with hearing loss in residential space through listening test. Floor impact, road traffic, airborne, and drainage noise were employed as the residential noise, and several impulse responses were obtained through room acoustical computer simulation for an apartment building. Sound sources for the listening test consisted of residential noises and speech sounds for boh the young (the original sound) and the aged (the sound filtered out by filters with frequency responses of hearing loss of 65 years elderly person). In the listening test, subjects evaluated speech intelligibility and listening difficulty for the presented word ($L_{Aeq}$ 55 dB) at three noise levels ($L_{Aeq}$ 30, 40, 50 dB) and three reverberation times (0.5, 1.0, 1.5 s). Results showed that the residential space with noise level lower than equal to 50 dB ($L_{i,Fmax,AW}$) for jumping noise and 40 dB ($L_{Aeq}$) for road traffic, airborne, and drainage noise had speech intelligibility of 90 % and over and listening difficulty of 30 % and below. Speech intelligibility and listening difficulty for the aged sound source was shown to be 0 % ~ 5 % lower and 2 % ~ 20 % higher than those for the young sound source, respectively.

        방음판의 음향투과손실 측정규격에 관한 연구

        Sound barrier walls are one of the most effective alternatives for reducing environmental noise on roads and railways in the city center. The insertion loss of the sound barrier against road traffic noise is the sum of the sound transmission loss, sound absorption loss, and sound energy reduction due to the diffraction attenuation of the sound barrier. The sound transmission loss of the sound barrier is one of the important factors that determine the insertion loss of the sound barrier and is a basic indicator that determines the performance of the sound barrier. Nevertheless, there is not a separate standard in Korea for measuring the acoustic transmission loss of sound barrier panels. There are only a few conditions in KS F 4770 series that stipulates on the general material of sound barrier panels. This thesis examines the necessity of the acoustic transmission loss measurement and evaluation standards of sound barrier walls, and seeks a measurement method in a free sound field (anechoic chamber) sound receiving room considering the characteristics of sound barrier walls installed in external spaces, unlike indoor building materials. In addition, a single number evaluation method using a reference spectrum was proposed so that the sound insulation effect according to various installation places such as roadside or railroad side can be easily displayed.

        마이크로폰의 위치에 따른 중량 바닥충격음레벨의 편차

        현행 중량 바닥충격음 표준 측정방식인 KS F 2810-2에 의하면 중앙점을 포함한 3-5곳의 타격위치에 대하여 수음실에서 4곳 이상의 지점의 피크레벨을 측정하도록 되어있다. 그러나 이 표준 방식에 의한 동일 상황에서의 측정 결과가 측정기관, 측정횟수, 측정점의 위치 등에 따라 일관성을 보이지 못하고 있음이 종종 발견된다. 이러한 편차는 반복성이나 재현성의 측면에서 측정값의 신뢰도에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 수준으로 우려된다. 측정결과 실험실의 경우 중앙 타격시 63Hz 대역에서 각 지점간의 차이가 l0dB이상 차이를 보였으며, 전체적으로 중간주파수 대역에서 보다 저주파수 대역에서의 편차가 크게 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 편차는 저주파수 대역에서의 모드 중첩현상에 의한 것으로 보인다. 현행 바닥충격음 단일지수 평가 방법에 따라 평가한 결과 측정위치에 따라 단일지수 평가값에 2-7dB의 차이를 보였으며 바닥충격음 차음성능 평가에 영향을 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다. 따라서 향후 저주파 대역의 편차를 줄이거나 저음의 모드 중첩에 의한 영향을 배제할 수 있는 측정 혹은 평가 방식의 개선이 필요하다고 사료된다. Measurement of impact sound insulation of floor, by current Korean Standard KS F 2810-2. is to be made with peak levels over 4 point in a receiving room. But it is often the case that there is inconsistency in results at various receiving points in the receiving room. Such variations obviously have effects on the repeatability and reproducibility of measured data. The result shows that there are even 10 dB deviations in 63Hz octave band frequency range and relatively less variations are occurred in other low frequency ranges. Such variations seems to be coming from modal overlaps of the receiving room. According to current rating method of floor impact sound. KS F 2863-2, that may affect on the single number latins scheme. From the result of tests in this study, there are 2dB to 6dB differences in the sin91e number with the combination of measurement points. This means that the reduction of measurement variations from the microphone positions is needed for a better credibility of measurement results.

        영어 듣기평가 시험 장소로서의 고등학교 교실 소리환경의 현황 및 타당성

        It is often the case that various kinds of language listening tests are held in high school classrooms. They are TOEIC, TOEFL, and more sensitively, the nation wide university entrance examination. In reading and writing, students should be required to show their own ability in the same condition. But listening test is different. The test is influenced by the condition of listening environments. Currently, high school classrooms have a variety of listening environments. Size of classrooms, location and performance of loudspeakers, doors and windows location which may affect the background noise level, reverberation are the part of the factors which affect the listening environment. The differences in these factors may cause variety of the score, other than the actual listening ability of students. It is obvious that different listening environment may affect the students test scores. Students may get better scores in good environment, while worse in poor listening environments. The purpose of this study is to verify the listening condition of classrooms in high schools. Interviews and questionnaires on the actual response of students who took various kinds of tests in a variety of classrooms were collected. To match the listening condition to the score, a serious of listening tests and measurements on the acoustic condition were performed. The result shows that the score is strongly correlated to the listening environment of classrooms. This means that there must be a standard for the environment of listening tests, for the students to show their actual listening ability.

        주거지역의 외부소음현황 및 규제기준에 관한 연구

        Due to the expansion of residential area and redevelopment of the city, the industrial area tends to be changed into residential area. It is often the case that only a part of the industrial area is changed to residential area while the other part remains as industrial area. There are complaints and even violent activities from the residents of changed residential area against the noise sources in the remained part of industrial area. while the noise emission level of the factories in the industrial area are keeping the emission standard of noise and vibration(Article No. 8) noticed from Ministry of Environment , it sometimes still exceed the regulation scheme of residential noise environment noticed by Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs. In these basis, this study aims to check the changed residential area has a proper noise environment and to confirm the related regulations on noise performance have appropriate standards.

        차음성능을 고려한 친환경 건식벽체 시스템의 다양화 모색

        The aim of this study is to search for a diversity of environmentally sustainable dry wall systems which might be usable to the walls of non load bearing wall structural system apartments. Four different dry wall systems using three different cement panels were composed and tested to apply for unit to unit walls, having a strict sound insulation performance guideline by Korean Law. A series of tests show that they have Rw+C values from 49 to 54. They are grade 2 and grade 3 in the aprartment housing performance frade indication scheme of Korea, Three of them are having adequate performance enforced by Korean Law. They have quite different insulation characteristics especially in the mid frequency range, from 500hz to 2,000㎐, according to the sectional shape of the panels and the composition of the systems. As for the sound insulaion characteristics of gypsum board system and composite panel system, they have quite distinguishable features. Though they are all usable to in-unit room to room walls, gypsum board system has a good insulation performance while composite panel system is goon in mid and high frequency bands.

        친환경 다중 건식 벽체의 차음 특성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the optimal design criteria for the maximum sound insulation performance of multi layer dry wall systems which use soundproof sheets made of natural materials such as stone dust. 18 different systems are designed and tested to investigate the impact of soundproof sheet, air gap, thickness of the panels, the stud and runner, and the total thickness of the system on sound insulation performance. As results, most of the systems have adequate performances in the accreditation scheme of Korean laws and regulations. Regardless of the position and the thickness, soundproof sheets affect positively on sound insulation performance. Better performances are also observed in all frequency bands by increasing the air gap, and especially in low frequency bands below 160㎐ and in around 2,000㎐ bands by the isolation of runners and studs.
