        아리랑 영상의 효율적 정사보정처리 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 아리랑 영상의 정사영상처리를 보다 효율적으로 개선하기 위한 것이다. 국내외 지구 관측 위성의 개발이 가속화됨에 따라 획득되는 영상의 수와 양이 급증하고 있다. 이에 획득된 영상에 대한 정사영상처리를 보다 빠르고 효율적으로 개선하기 위한 다양한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 GPU 등 하드웨어 컴퓨팅 능력 향상을 제외하고, 알고리즘 개선을 통한 처리 효율 강화에 집중하였다. 이를 위하여 LUT 기반 RFM 방법으로 알고리즘을 개선하였으며, offset 설정에 따라 달라지는 결과를 정확도 및 시간 효율의 측면에서 비교 및 분석하였다. The purpose of this study is to efficiently improve orthorectification of KOMPSAT images. As the development of domestic and abroad earth observation satellites accelerates, the number and amounts of satellite images acquired are rapidly increasing. Accordingly, various studies are being conducted to improve orthorectification for the acquired image more quickly and efficiently. This study focused on enhancing processing efficiency through algorithm improvement, except for improving hardware computing capabilities such as GPU. Accordingly, the algorithm was improved with the LUT-based RFM method, and compared and analyzed in terms of accuracy and time-efficiency that vary depending on offset settings.

        모음 삽입현상에 대한 재분석

        The purpose of this paper is to explain the vowel epenthesis arising in both plural noun forms and past-tense verb forms. At first I adopted a rule-based approach for analyzing the phonological phenomena, but there were a few analytical problems. Next I considered a hierarchical feature method as an alternative. In this analytical process, I explained how the Obligatory Contour Principle (hereinafter, OCP) works within the framework of hierarchical feature method. In this paper, I will show that the OCP, which may be a rule-trigger or a rule-blocker in rule application, plays an important role in the vowel insertion rule as the rule-blocker. Although these give us some understanding about vowel insertion, they don’t provide a completely satisfying explanation for the phenomenon. Therefore, I adopted a new approach based on the Optimality Theory, which provides us a synthetic explanation by using some constraints and ranking these appropriately without depending on rule-ordering and derivation.         KOMPSAT-2 전정색영상과 다중분광영상의 융합기법 비교평가

        본 연구의 목적은 KOMPSAT-2 위성영상에 가장 일반적으로 적용 가능한 영상융합기법을 제시하는 것이다. 가장 널리 사용되는 영상융합기법인 HPF, modified IHS, pan-sharpened, wavelet을 지역적, 계절적 특성이 서로 다른 4장의 KOMPSAT-2 위성영상에 적용하였고, 각각의 융합결과를 공간적, 분광적으로 비교분석 하였다. 영상융합기법의 품질평가는 시각적 분석과 정량적 분석을 병행하여 수행하였으며, 정량적 분석에는 spatial ERGAS, spectral ERGAS, SAM, Q4가 사용되었다. 종합적인 분석결과를 고려할 때, pan-sharpened가 색상정보와 공간정보의 균형적인 보존 측면에서 다른 융합기법들에 비해, 상대적으로 우수한 결과를 나타냈다. modified-IHS의 경우, 공간정보는 잘 보존하였지만 다소 큰 색상 왜곡이 발생되었고, HPF와 wavelet은 색상 왜곡은 적었지만, 공간정보의 왜곡이 발생하였다. The objective of this study is to propose efficient data fusion techniques feasible to the KOMPSAT-2 satellite images. The most widely used image fusion techniques, which are the high-pass filter (HPF), the intensity-hue-saturation-based (modified IHS), the pan-sharpened, and the wavelet-based methods, was applied to four KOMPSAT - 2 satellite images having different regional and seasonal characteristics. Each fusion result was compared and analyzed in spatial and spectral features, respectively. Quality evaluation of image fusion techniques was performed in both quantitative and visual analysis. The quantitative analysis methods used for this study were the relative global dimensional error (spatial and spectral ERGAS), the spectral angle mapper index (SAM), and the image quality index (Q4). The results of quantitative and visual analysis indicate that the pan-sharpened method among the fusion methods used for this study relatively has the suitable balance between spectral and spatial information. In the case of the modified IHS method, the spatial information is well preserved, while the spectral information is distorted. And also the HPF and wavelet methods do not preserve the spectral information but the spatial information.

        쌍태임신에서 임신 제2삼분기에 시행된 맞춤형 선택적 유산에 관한 연구

        Objective: Recently, selective termination is employed in multifetal pregnancies, in the presence of an abnormal fetus, or in the complication of twin pregnancies. The purpose of this study is to evaluate effectiveness, safety of the tailored selective termination in multifetal pregnancies. Methods: This study was retrospective and involved six cases. Indication of termination were 3 cases of structural anomalies (anencephaly, encephalocele, body stalk anomaly), 1 case of chromosomal anomaly (21 trisomy) and 2 cases of monochorionic twin complications (acardiac twin, twin to twin transfusion syndrome). Results: We used KCL injection in 4 cases, they were all confirmed dichorionic twin, and in 2 cases of monochorionic twin, we used alcohol ablation of intra-abdominal umbilical artery in 1 case, and radiofrequency ablation of the cord in 1 case. Conclusion: All procedures were successful, and all normal infants were delivered in 3rd trimester. Tailored selective termination in 2nd trimester is effective and safe in abnormal multifetal pregnancies.

        해외 테스트베드 지역 아리랑 위성 3호 DSM 성능평가

        본 연구의 목적은 해외 테스트베드 지역에서 제작된 아리랑 3호 DSM의 성능을 비교 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 미국 샌프란시스코 지역을 촬영한 아리랑 3호 in-track(동일 궤도) stereo(입체) 영상을 수집하였다. 촬영된 영상의 스테레오 기하 요소는(B/H, convergence angle 등) 모두 안정적 범위에 있음을 확인하였다. 지상 기준점을 이용한 정밀 센서모델링과 DSM 자동 생성 기법을 적용하여, 1 m 해상도의 DSM을 제작하였다. 평가 및 보정을 위한 참조 자료는 Airbus에서 상용 판매하고 있는 1 m 해상도의 Elevation1 DSM 제품과 Compass Data Inc.에서 실측한 0.01 m 이내 정확도의 지상점이다. 아리랑 3호의 정밀 센서 모델링 정확도는 수평 및 수직 방향으로 0.5 m (RMSE) 이내를 나타냈다. 생성된 DSM과 참조 DSM 사이의 difference map을 작성하였을 때, 평균과 표준 편차는 각각 0.61 m와 5.25 m로 유사한 정확도를 나타냈으나, 일부 지역에서는 100 m 이상의 큰 차이를 나타냈다. 이러한 지역은 초 고층 건물의 밀집지역의 폐색 지역에서 주로 나타났다. 향후, 아리랑 3호 tri-stereo 영상의 활용과 다양한 후처리 기법이 개발된다면 보다 향상된 품질의 DSM 생성이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the performance of KOMPSAT-3 Digital Surface Model (DSM) made in overseas testbed area. To that end, we collected the KOMPSAT-3 intrack stereo image taken in San Francisco, the U.S. The stereo geometry elements (B/H, converse angle, etc.) of the stereo image taken were all found to be in the stable range. By applying precise sensor modeling using Ground Control Point (GCP) and DSM automatic generation technique, DSM with 1 m resolution was produced. Reference materials for evaluation and calibration are ground points with accuracy within 0.01 m from Compass Data Inc., 1 m resolution Elevation 1-DSM produced by Airbus. The precision sensor modeling accuracy of KOMPSAT-3 was within 0.5 m (RMSE) in horizontal and vertical directions. When the difference map was written between the generated DSM and the reference DSM, the mean and standard deviation were 0.61 m and 5.25 m respectively, but in some areas, they showed a large difference of more than 100 m. These areas appeared mainly in closed areas where highrise buildings were concentrated. If KOMPSAT-3 tri-stereo images are used and various post-processing techniques are developed, it will be possible to produce DSM with more improved quality.

        기초 및 광역지자체 기후변화 취약성 평가를 위한 웹기반 지원 도구(VESTAP) 개발

        Climate change is the issue that attracts the most attention in the field of environment, as well as the most challenging task faced by the human race. There are various ways to resolve this issue. South Korea has established the primary and secondary national climate change adaptation plans at the national level, and is making it compulsory for each local government (lower and municipal-level) to establish climate change adaptation plans. Climate change vulnerability assessment plays an essential role in establishing climate change adaptation action plans. However, vulnerability assessment has a difficulty performing individual assessments since the results are produced through complex calculations of multiple impact factors. Accordingly, this study developed a web-based supporting tool(VESTAP) for climate change vulnerability assesment that can be used by lower and municipal-level local governments. The VESTAP consists of impact DB and vulnerability assessment and display tool. The index DB includes total 455 impacts of future climate data simulated with RCP (Representative Concentration Pathways) 4.5 and 8.5, atmospheric environment data, other humanities and social statistics, and metadata. The display tool has maximized convenience by providing various analytical functions such as spatial distribution, bias and schematization of each vulnerability assessment result. A pilot test of health vulnerability assessment by particulate matters in Sejong Metropolitan Autonomous City was performed using the VESTAP, and Bukang-myeon showed the highest vulnerability. By using the developed tool, each local government is expected to be able to establish climate change adaptation action plans more easily and conveniently based on scientific evidence.

        KOMPSAT-2 입체영상의 자동 기하 보정

        KOMPSAT-2와 같은 고해상 위성영상은 대상영역의 3차원 위치결정을 위하여 RPC(Rational Polynomial Coefficient)가 포함된 자료를 제공한다. 그러나 RPC로 계산된 영상기하는 일정량의 편이 (systematic errors)를 지니고 있는 상태이며, 이를 보정하기 위해서는 수 개 이상의 지상기준점(ground control point)이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 지상기준점 없이 입체영상(stereo pair)과 SRTM(Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) DEM(Digital Elevation Model) 사이의 대응점(tie point)만을 이용하여 자동으로 영상 기하를 보정하는 효과적인 방법을 제안하였다. 이러한 방법은 4가지 단계를 포함 한다: 1) 대응점 추출, 2) 대응점에 대한 지상좌표 결정, 3) SRTM DEM을 이용한 지상좌표의 보정, 4) RPC 보정 모델의 파라미터 결정. 우리는 KOMPSAT-2 입체영상을 이용하여 제안된 방법의 성과를 입증하였다. 검사점 (check point)을 통해 계산된 RMSE(Root Mean Square Error)는 X와 Y, Z방향으로 각각 약 3.55 m, 9.70 m, 3.58 m를 나타냈다. 이는 SRTM DEM을 이용하여 RPC가 지닌 편이를 X, Y 및 Z 모든방향에 대하여 10 m이내의 정확도로 자동보정할 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. A high resolution satellite imagery such as KOMPSAT-2 includes a material containing rational polynomial coefficient (RPC) for three-dimensional geopositioning. However, image geometries which are calculated from the RPC must have inevitable systematic errors. Thus, it is necessary to correct systematic errors of the RPC using several ground control points (GCPs). In this paper, we propose an efficient method for automatic correction of image geometries using tie points of a stereo pair and the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) Digital Elevation Model (DEM) without GCPs. This method includes four steps: 1) tie points extraction, 2) determination of the ground coordinates of the tie points, 3) refinement of the ground coordinates using SRTM DEM, and 4) RPC adjustment model parameter estimation, We validates the performance of the proposed method using KOMPSAT-2 stereo pair. The root mean square errors (RMSE) achieved from check points (CPs) were about 3.55 m, 9.70 m and 3.58 m in X, Y, and Z directions. This means that we can automatically correct the systematic error of RPC using SRTM DEM.

        영어 lC 자음군에 관한 역사적 조명과 음운적 고찰

        The purpose of this study is to investigate /I/-deletion in IC clusters which are composed of a lateral followed by consonants at syllable-final position in English. For this, I have analyzed /I/-deletion in words depending on conditions and theoretical analyses such as Sonority Sequencing Generalization, Cluster Simplification, Complex sounds and merger, and Feature Geometry, but they didn't offer a very satisfactory explanation to the phenomenon. Therefore, I adopted a historical approach in order to determine the cause and origin of /I/-deletion in IC clusters, and then as a phonological analysis tool, I relied on the constraints and their ranking in Optimal Theory framework for explaining /I/-deletion in the clusters more consistently. As a result, I can explain the phenomenon more explicitly than from the above mentioned analyses.
