The Ministry of Construction and Transportation announced the Earned Value Management Since the global financial crisis caused by US sub-prime mortgage turmoil in Sep. 2008, construction industry is under serious difficulties in the management at present about two years to the financial crisis, which are matured PF(Project Financing) loans and at least 50 trillion won of locked up funds by unsold houses, due to the industrial characteristic declining more rapidly than other industries in recession. For this difficulty shown in construction industry, it established the causes not only the depression in construction market overtaken followed by the global financial crisis but also the business strategy of local construction companies excessively weighted towards external growth. In today's rapidly changing society, such business strategy overly focused on growth only may threaten even the corporate sustainability. Therefore, local construction companies must meet the changes in customer demands and the market and they must focus on the establishment of efficient strategies through the corporate strategic management at the same time. Based on this background, this study analyzed the sustainable growth rate with accounting information of 70 construction companies listed to the market of Korea Stock Exchange during the period from 2005 to 2009 and then analyzed the characteristics shown in those companies classified into the good company group and the bad company group for the corporate activity of construction companies by which the reasonable growth can be maintained while the growth-oriented strategy is still valid.

International construction market has been open to other countries, and it derives the development of our overseas construction industry quantitatively as well as qualitatively. Until now, the major companies have an absolute majority in the overseas construction market, and the small and medium enterprises have had difficulty to get a leadership in the international construction market because of the lack of the technical expertise and the capital strength. Especially in the Middle East Asia, our construction companies has touched off a boom, so our market share also has grown, which derived from the up toward ratchet oil prices and a worldwide boom in real estate development. The small and medium enterprise minority have recognition that the overseas construction market is the major company``s native territory. But Data from the existing researches and many statistics indicate the most companies tend to underestimate the capacity and international competitiveness of the small and medium enterprises. As a matter of fact, hundreds of small and medium enterprise cut a conspicuous figure in overseas market. Consequently, it is indispensable to overcome the international financial crisis by revitalizing our overseas construction industry which obtains excellent results in international market. this study suggested the ways to expand overseas bonding capacity of Korean financial institution. This study proposed the Korean government to allow Construction Guarantee (former Korea Construction Financial Cooperative) to deal with foreign exchange so that Construction Guarantee will underwrite the overseas construction bond.

The surface of polysulfone(PSf) membrane modified by Ar, NH_3 plasma treatment is measured before and after the treatment. The membrane modified by Ar plasma treatment is increased the O/C ratio and the hydrophilic group, by NH_3 plasma treatment is increased the amine group and the amino group. The CO_2 permeation and ideal separation factor of the treated membrane measured good condition. The measurance of Ar-10 W-6 min plasma treatment is 8.6744×10 exp(-10)㎤(STP)㎝/㎠·s·㎝Hg and 14.401, it of NH_3-50 W-8 min plasma treatment is 7.5922×10 exp(-10)㎤(STP)㎝/㎠·s·㎝Hg and 17.644. Having the wettability of polysulfone membrane, the polar functional groups of its surface interacted with CO_2 increasingly. Because of the soluble selectivity of membrane increased of CO_2 than N_2, polysulfone membrane improved both the permeability and the selectivity of CO_2.

In this paper, theoretical consideration that is based on the literature research and the survey was given in order to find the causes that demand the paradigm change in construction management, identify the impact of the FTA, which is the heart of the change, has on the construction industry and identify our countermeasure strategy as well as trend of the construction industry in advanced countries. This paper propose strategic operation plans for efficient global outsourcing by switching buyer-supplier competition (zero-sum) to mutually beneficial(positive-sum) buyer supplier relationship. In conclusion, this paper suggested the needs of cooperation for strengthening the core abilities and the strategic plans of supporting small & medium construction company. and Research method is that there is summary of current status and future of SCM(Supply Chain management) and "How to develop on the Supply Chain management in construction" related housing construction industries

Researches of current PMIS(Project Management Information System) information searching focus on providing personalized results as well as matching needed queries in an enormous amount of information. This paper aim at discovering hidden knowledge to provide personalized and inferred search results based on the ontology with categorized concepts and relations among construction data. The current PMIS searching occasionally presents too much redundant information or offers no matching results from large volumes of data. In this paper, we propose a service searching system, which becomes aware of users device using iPMIS(Intelligent Program Management Information System). And we design and plant the ontology-based iPMIS, which is aware of the context in its environment.

As people prefer to use right or left hand, some have preferred chewing side while others do not. Totally, 82 volunteers composed of students and staffs from Dental Hospital College of Dentistry Yonsei University participated in this study for the investigation of influence of preferred chewing habit, that has lasted for more than a year, on electromyographic(EMG) activity of masticatory muscles and bite force. Among the 82 volunteers, 46 had preferred chewing habit while the other 36 did not. Prior to the investigation, those with factors that could affect the study, such as, general disease, irregular dentition and malocclusion, were screened and excluded by questionnaire and clinical examination. The results were as follows: 1. There was no significant difference in EMG activities between chewing side and non-chewing side of preferred chewing subjects at rest as well as maximal voluntary contraction(MCV)(p>0.05). 2. Asymmetrical coefficient of temporal and masseter muscle EMG activities between preferred chewing subjects and non-preferred chewing subjects at rest was not significantly different(p>0.05). 3. Asymmetrical coefficient of masseter EMG activity was significantly higher(p<0.05) than that of non-preferred chewing subjects at MCV, whereas that of anterior temporal muscle showed no difference(p<0.05). 4. In preferred chewing subjects, there was no significant difference in average bite force and occlusal contact area between chewing side and non-chewing side(p>0.05). 5. There was no significant difference in Asymmetrical coefficients of average bite force and occlusal contact area between preferred chewing subjects and non-preferred chewing subjects (p>0.05). Consequently, preferred chewing habit can be considered as physiological asymmetry with normal function rather than to have influence on EMG muscle activity of masticatory muscles, average bite force and occlusal contact area. Objective standardization to differentiate preferred chewing subjects and non-preferred chewing subjects should be established in the further study.

Recently, the roles of the construction engineers become more important in all phases of construction project life cycle. Construction engineers`` capabilities is one of the key factors to accomplish construction project objectives. After acquiring basic Knowledge and skills in colleges, the construction engineers have opportunities to develop their abilities through continuous education provided by companies, associations, colleges, and so on. The current eduction system is not sufficient enough to assist engineers to develop their potentials. The construction professionals training system that help career development, career management, education and training is need to raise excellent engineers in a long term perspective. In order to investigate the necessity and the element in the career development support, I perfromed the perception about the career deveolopment by doning question investigation.
