In this paper, the dynamic response of cracked rotor is investigated. When the crack is occurred in rotating system, the dynamic stability of the system becomes unstable by opening and closing or “breathing” motion of crack. The simple two degree-of-freedom Jeffcot rotor is studied, the crack is modeled by Mayes’s modified function. Due to the periodically changed stiffness of the cracked rotating system, the vibration amplitude peak is occurred at sub-critical speed region, the resonance frequency is shifted. The parameter studies are added about crack depth and crack position.

Residual drag, a friction-induced phenomenon in the brake system caused by the interaction between the disc and brake pads, plays a pivotal role in dictating the performance and longevity of the system. The implications of residual drag extend beyond this, adversely influencing vehicle noise levels, vibrations, and fuel efficiency while also exacerbating air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. In response to these challenges, automotive manufacturers worldwide are adopting stringent regulations and standards aimed at enhancing environmental stewardship and fuel efficiency through targeted reduction of residual drag. This objective is pursued through extensive research spanning various domains such as brake system development, parameter exploration, experimentation, and Computer-Aided Engineering(CAE) analysis with a unified goal: achieving Zero Drag competitively. This study takes a novel approach to quantifying residual drag in the brake system using dynamo equipment. By employing a web camera for visual detection and analysis of disc and brake pad movement, we enable real-time observation—offering an enriched understanding of the residual drag phenomenon that paves the way for more effective reduction strategies and optimization efforts.

Korean Identification card or driver license is usually used to verify one's identity in Korea. These are also used as an adult certification. Since the form of these ID card is an analog and it needs to be checked with naked eyes, it might be used maliciously. Someone who's got someone else's ID card can do other things. Therefore, it must be reported rapidly when ID card is lost or stolen. The most serious problem might be occurred when they do not recognize and report the loss. They might suffer from pecuniary or mental damage such as opening a mobile phone service, providing loan or credit card, opening a personal checking account, etc. Thus, this study suggests and compares the ways of avoiding these problems. First, the most effective way is to send the authorization code via mobile phones in consideration of build-up period and cost. The person in charge of business processing department using ID card sends the authorization code via registered mobile phone. The owners submits it to the person and their identifications are confirmed. Next effective way is that the person in charge of business processing department using ID card sends text messages via registered mobile phone. Lastly, the most ineffective way is to introduce and implement the electronic ID card ultimately even though it is expensive and takes a long time to build up the system.

The almost of Web page has been gathered the personal information(Korean resident registration number, name, cell-phone number, home telephone number, E-mail address, home address, etc.) using the membership and log-in. The all most user of Web page are concerned for gathering of the personal information. I-pin is the alternative means of resident registration number and has been used during the last ten-year period in the internet. The accident of I-pin mass illegal issue was happened by hacker at February, 2015. In this paper, we analysis the problems of I-pin system about I-pin mass illegal issue accident and propose a improvement method of it. First, I-pin issue must be processed by the off-line of face certification in spite of user's inconvenience. Second, I-pin use must be made up through second certification of password or OTP. The third, the notification of I-pin use must be sent to the user by the text messaging service of cell-phone or the E-mail. The forth, I-pin must be used an alternative means of Korean resident registration number in Internet. The methods can reduce the problems of I-pin system.

The Korean resident registration number has been used since 1962 as a personal identification number. The Korean government assigns this number to each korean citizen and it is not able to be changed. In 2000s, as the Internet was rapidly spreaded out, personal information such as the Korean resident registration number, name, home address, and phone number was leaked. The companies provide diverse internet service while collecting personal information. However, personal information was sometimes leaked because of hacking, poor information management and so on. As s results, some of citizens asked government and court of Korea to change the Korean resident registration number because they suffered material damage and emotional distress. The constitutional court decided to be able to change the number from 2018. In this study, the Korean resident registration number which is possible to change, serial number, public certificate, I-PIN, and My-PIN were analyzed comparatively. In addition, considerations when the Korean resident registration number was changed were discussed. The public certificate and I-PIN were appropriate to the case of on-line Korean resident registration number. The Korean resident registration number, serial number, My-PIN were appropriate to the case of off-line Korean resident registration number. Lastly, it would be efficient to manage the Korean resident registration number separately such as on-line and off-line.

The Caliper Brake Residual Drag is one of the most important factors to consider in automotive development when it comes to fuel economy. The causes of Residual Drag can be defined in many ways, but in dynamo testers, the drag result is expressed only as a torque value, making it difficult to identify the improvement factor. Thus, in order to detect drag generation factors, this study implemented 4 drag generation cases in the test sample, equipped with a linear sensor on the brake moving parts and a non-contact displacement sensor on the disc, to measure the dynamic displacement that occurs during the test. This visually represented the movement of the moving component and calculated the gap between the pad and the disc. It was also validated by illuminating the light between the pad and the disc to photograph the transmitted light. As a result, accurate detection of the drag generation factor was possible.

To perform the navigation functions more efficiently, the navigation menu structure should be provided easy to understand to the driver in the vehicle environment that is restricted by driving workload, According to these conditions, to design better navigation interface, it is important to study on the navigation menu structure that is depend on the screen size and the information width and depth. Therefore, in this study we provided the different menu structures of 7-inch touchscreen LCD and 4-inch touchscreen LCD to the driver respectively in the driving simulator. Then, we compared the preference of each menu structures with the different touchscreen LCD. 자동차 환경에서 운전자가 주행 Workload라는 Main Task의 제약조건 하에서 Navigation의 효율적인 수행을 위해서는 Navigation에서 제공하는 기능들에 대한 빠른 이해가 필요하며, 이에 부합하는 Navigation Interface 설계를 위해 Navigation의 Screen Size의 제약 조건 하의 Menu Structure의 Width와 Depth 기반의 정보량의 수준과 이에 따른 Menu Structure Type의 연구가 중요한 Issue로 여겨지고 있다, 따라서 본 연구에서는 운전 상황과 유사한 환경을 구축하여 Navigation의 7인치와 4인치의 터치 스크린 기반의 Interface 환경에서 운전자에게 각각 다른 Menu Structure를 제시하고, 수행도와 선호도를 비교하였다.
