The objective of this study were 1) to review concepts of user information satisfaction (UIS), 2) to analyze tools for measuring user information satisfaction, 3) to identify factors affecting information satisfaction. The study was carried out by the analysis of literatures related to information system. The construct of UIS has been operationalized in many different ways. Several studies employed single-item rating scales; such scales have been criticized unreliable. Single-item scales also provide little information as to what the user fords dissatisfying(satisfying) and are thus of limited utility outside a research setting. Multiple-item UIS measures have become increasingly common. Generally, they are of two types. The first focuses on the information system product. With such diverse names as $quot;system acceptance$quot;, $quot;output quality$quot;, and $quot;appreciation$quot;, these scales focus on the concept of the information system and the manner in which the information is presented. The second type of multiple-item scale includes the organizational support for developing and maintaining the system as well as the system product itself. This type of instrument contains items concerned with training, documentation, development procedures, systems maintenance, etc., as well as items related to system content. Thus it provides an indicator of the overall quality of information services provided by an information service function. Generally, UIS measures have not been carefully validated. Recently, however, several rigorous attempts have been made to develop valid and reliable UIS measure.
HDPE-부틸고무 이중복합시트와 다발형 유리섬유직포 적층형 방수재의 성능평가

The blister of waterproofing layer, less adhesiveness under a low temperature, peel off of sheet overlapping joint which were occurred from the existing waterproofing membrane methods, have been influenced the decrease of durability in buildings. For this reason, this study suggested the application of non-exposure waterproofing membrane which was laminated by HDPE-butyl rubber sheet with twist glass fiber mesh. And physical properties of it was evaluated to solve the problems as mentioned above. As a result of evaluation of physical properties, twist glass fiber mesh can disperse water vapor pressure which come up from concrete substrate. And it prevents the blister of a waterproofing layer and transformation of materials, So, it was confirmed that twist glass fiber mesh contribute to the rigid property of waterproofing layer. Moreover, an effective adhesiveness under a low temperature and watertightness of sheet's joints were improved by using of modified butyl rubber. Through the application of waterproofing membrane which was laminated by HDPE-butyl rubber with twist glass fiber mesh, existing problems of sheet membrane method will be solved.

This study deals with the performance evaluation on waterproofing and root penetration resistance membrane which is made from combining both the fiberglass reinforced plastic and the self adhesion butyl rubber sheet for Green Roof System. The key to constant development and resupply/replenishment of Green Roof for the stability of green roof system is the proper installation and the long-term preservation of the waterproofing and root penetration resistance membranes. Problems with the waterproofing and root penetration resistance membranes undermine the safety of the concrete slabs, which leads to leakage incidents. It is therefore important to make waterproofing and root penetration resistance membranes which can completely block the root penetration. This research showed that the FRP root penetration resistance layer is effective in blocking the intrusion of the plant roots, and that the flexibility of the self adhesion butyl rubber sheet makes it easy to withstand against damage from the movement of the concrete substrate. As follows, when using the waterproofing and root penetration resistance membrane which combines the two layers, long-term stability of the structures and the further development of the Green Roof industry are expected.

This study deals with the effect on bond strength properties of waterproofing layer and mortar or concrete substrate applicated by epoxy resin paintings anticorrosive materials. Properties of bond strength change condition of concrete substrate, temperature, moisture and curing and so on. The purpose of this study is that it makes the estimation value of bond strength of concrete wall and anticorrosive layer when coated epoxy resin paintings as anticorrosive materials for durability performance estimation depend on concrete watertightness.

N/A Background/Aims: A number of studies have shown an increased prevalence of gallstones in patients with coronary heart diseases. Since it has also been known ihat the high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) is an important protective factor against coronary artery diseases, one may speculate the possibility that HDL-C may play a role in preventing the gallstone formation, so we tried to identify this role of HDL-C. Methods: We analysed 165 patients who received cholecystectomy due to cholecystitis with gallstones. Their serum lipid profiles and body mass index(BMI) were measured and compared with normal control persons. We adjusted the age and sex distribution in normal control group to the patient group. Results: Among 165 cases, the prevalences of whitish yellow stones, brown pigmented stones and dark pigmented stones were '21.2%, 60% and 18.2%, respectively. In the patients group, the mean age was 53.7+11.5 years and the ratio of male to fema]e was 1:1.6. BMI was significantly higher in the patient group(24.7+ 7.5kg/m )as compared to normal control group(21.9 ' 5.6kg/m, p<0.005). No differences were observed in the serum level of total cholesterol, triglyceride(TG), HDL-C, low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), and the ratio of HDL-C to total cholesterol between the patient and control group. However, tbe old aged group, more than 50 years showed that the serum level of HDL-C, HDL-C/total cholesterol were significantly higher than in the group of normal population(48.3+ 18.0mg/dL, 0.30+0.12) than in tbe patient group(43.4+13.3mg/dL, 0.26 0.09, p<0.005), and obese persons(BMI>25kg/m ) showed that their levels were significantly higher in the normal population group(53.0+9.5mg/dL, 0,30+0.08) than in the group of gallstone patients(43.3+ 1.7mg/dL, 0.24>0.07, p<0.005) also. Conclusions: Decreased serum level of HDL-C, HDL-C/total cholesterol might be a causative factor of gallstone formation in the obese or old aged group. (Korean J Gastroenterol 1996; 2S:683 - 6S9)
