The transfer girder system has many problems and difficulties on the structural analysis and design process because of a sudden change of rigidity and excessive stress concentration at the transfer floor. Besides, the transfer girder is mainly affected by the behavior and load transmission process of the upper structural system. So, the purpose of this study is to estimate the form and magnitude of the loads transmitted to the transfer girder from the upper wall and to develop a calculating method about the inequality stress distribution which mainly affects the moment distribution of transfer girder at the transfer floor.

The traditional stone pagodas have been damaged by natural disasters under outside environment. So, it is necessary to preserve and maintain the stone pagodas from structural damages. Therefore, this study considers a west three-story stone pagoda at Seongju temple site, and analyzes the various damage states and then compares the damage grades with existing results.

The wall system framed by steel studs with light gage steel proposed in this study because as structural elements is reinforced by the horizontal members called runners, it has higher strength and load bearing capacity than the steel house wall system. Also, this system contributes to the improved the adiabatic and sound insulation performance by filling up the autoclaved lightweight concrete. We need the evaluation of load bearing capacity according to the axial load and lateral load in the case that this system is applied in the housing system with stories through the variations of intervals for the runners under the placement effect of autoclaved lightweight concrete. Therefore, this study attempt to analyze axial and shear behavior of the framed wall system according to placement effect of autoclaved lightweight concrete, and to secure the safety for the vertical and lateral loads.
캄보디아 프레아피투 U사원의 손상현황에 따른 구조안전성 평가

The damages of Preah Pithu temple in Cambodia have been increased due to weathering and corrosion for a long time. In particular, the U temple was seriously damaged and required the evaluation of structural safety for the preservation of temple. Because the stones of the Preah Pithu U temple are individually stacked, it is necessary to introduce the modeling and analysis technique for the discontinuous contact surfaces of masonry structures. For this purpose, we examined the construction and damage status of Preah Pithu U temple. Then, we analyzed the structural behavior and evaluated the structural safety of Preah Pithu U temple using the discrete element method. The vulnerable parts were revealed at the sides of the north and west walls from the results. In addition, the assessment for compression or tensile failure for each member was performed. Also, it is necessary to be carefully checked because some slipping occured in the lower parts of the wall.
