        The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between elementary school teacher``s science pedagogical knowledge level and student’s science anxiety. The study encompassed four schools in Seoul and Gwangju involving 5th and 6th grade students. It was to investigate their science pedagogical knowledge and science anxiety. Pedagogical questionnaires using Park Sung Hye``s questionnaires(2003) and science anxiety questionnaire using SAMS(1992) were utilized. The survey results were correlated using the SPSS 12.0 analysis program. The main conclusions of this study revealed the following: First, science pedagogical knowledge is associated with teachers`` major. Science pedagogical knowledge level of those who majored in science or engineering was slightly higher than the teachers who majored in humanities or social arts. Second, with science anxiety, both grade level and gender were indicators of significant differences. There was a tendency for the 6th grade and/or female students to have higher science anxiety and for it to be lower in 5th grade and/or male students respectively. Finally, There was a negative correlation between the teacher``s science pedagogical knowledge levels and students`` science anxiety. Through the above studies, the relationship between science pedagogical knowledge level of teachers and science anxiety of students were confirmed. Science teachers want their students to learn science while maintaining a low level of science anxiety. If teachers increase their science pedagogical knowledge level in order to reduce the students`` burden of learning content, the students`` reduced learning anxiety will increase learning satisfaction.

        각막상피제거술 후 흰쥐의 각막과 눈물샘에서의 신경성장인자의 변화

        Purpose: To evaluate the expression of nerve growth factor (NGF) in the rat cornea and lacrimal gland before and after corneal epithelial wounding. Methods: Twenty-nine Sprague-Dawley male rats were used in the present study. Corneal trephination was performed using a 4.0-mm diameter trephine before scratch and at 24, 48, 72 hours after debridement. The lacrimal gland was excised before scratch and at 24 hours after epithelial debridement. NGF levels of the excised cornea and lacrimal gland were measured in rat corneas by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Immunohistochemistry staining was performed on rat corneas and lacrimal glands. Results: The NGF/total protein ratio (NGF/tP) increased after wounding in the cornea and lacrimal gland. NGF levels in the cornea significantly increased in the wounded group until the 2nd day after wounding (p < 0.05). After NGF concentration peaked on the 1st day, there was a progressive decline after wounding. Additionally, the NGF concentration in the lacrimal gland of the wounded group was significantly higher than that of the control group at 24 hours after epithelial debridement (p = 0.001). Immunohistochemistry staining showed that NGF staining was stronger in rat corneas and lacrimal glands after epithelial debridement than before. Conclusions: Expression of NGF increased in rat corneas and lacrimal glands after corneal epithelial wounding, which suggests that NGF may play an important role in corneal wound healing.         마이토마이신을 병용한 치료적 레이저각막절제술을 이용한 라식 후 발생한 상피내생의 치료

        Purpose: To report 2 cases of thick, late-onset and long-standing epithelial ingrowth after laser-assisted in situ keratomilusis (LASIK) using mitomycin C-assisted photorefractive keratectomy and flap suturing. Case summary: The first case involved a 29-year-old woman who had LASIK in both eyes in 2002. She was diagnosed with epithelial ingrowth OD after blunt ocular trauma in 2007. The second case involved a 30-year-old man who had LASIK in both eyes in 1999 followed by enhancements in 2004. Slit lamp examination showed dense epithelial ingrowth OS in a geographic pattern. Two eyes of the 2 patients with epithelial ingrowth had flap lifting followed by debridement of interface epithelial cells, photorefractive keratectomy, interface application of mitomycin C, and the placement of interrupted 10-0 nylon sutures. Two eyes regained better uncorrected visual acuity and showed reduced corneal astigmatism postoperatively. There was no evidence of residual or recurrent ingrowth throughout the follow-up period (case 1: 11 months, case 2: 1 month). Conclusions: Combined mitomycin C-assisted photorefractive keratectomy and flap suturing can be an effective and safe method for treating and preventing the recurrence of thick, late-onset and long-standing epithelial ingrowth involving the visual axis.         망막중심정맥폐쇄에 동반된 황반부종에서 라니비주맙 주입술의 단기 임상 효과

        Purpose: To evaluate the short-term efficacy of intravitreal ranibizumab injection in eyes with macular edema secondary to central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO). Methods: The records of 17 patients (17 eyes, 11 ischemic, six ischemic) who received an intravitreal ranibizumab injection for macular edema secondary to CRVO were retrospectively analyzed. The ophthalmic examination included best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and central macular thickness (CMT) at baseline and follow-up visits. Results: After intravitreal ranibizumab injection, the mean BCVA improved from log MAR 1.25 ± 0.47 at baseline to log MAR 0.78 ± 0.49 at 4 weeks and to log MAR 0.81 ± 0.52 at 12 weeks (p < 0.05). Additionally, the mean CMT decreased from 679.4 ± 230.5 μm at baseline to 224.4 ± 129.9 μm at 4 weeks and to 271.6 ± 174.1 μm at 12 weeks (<em>p</em> < 0.001). In subgroup analysis, the decreases in CMT at 4 weeks and 12 weeks were similar in ischemic CRVO and non-ischemic CRVO, but no significant changes in visual acuity were found at 12 weeks in the ischemic CRVO group (<em>p</em> = 0.138). Ten eyes (58.8%) did not require re-injections for macular edema for up to 12 weeks. Conclusions: Intravitreal ranibizumab injection appeared to be an effective option for the treatment of macular edema secondary to central retinal vein occlusion.       • 원자력터빈의 전략개발을 위한 LTAM 미래고장률 결정 및 적용

        Long Term Asset Management(LTAM) means a plan developed by using LCM(Life Cycle Management) process for optimum life cycle management of significant plant assets at each plant across the fleet. As a part of development of LTAM Strategies on nuclear turbines, a method so as to determine the future failure rates for low pressure turbine facilities at a nuclear plant was studied and developed by using both plant specific and industry-wide performance data. INPO's EPIX data were analyzed and some failure rate evaluation values considering preventive maintenance practices were calculated by using EPRI's PM Basis software. As the result, failure rate functions applicable to a priori and a posteriori replacement of low pressure turbines at a nuclear plant were developed and utilized in an assessment of economics of LCM alternatives on the nuclear turbine facilities in the respects of 40-year and 60-year operation bases.

        만 1세 영아의 맞벌이 부모 동반참여 블렌디드러닝 부모교육 프로그램의 개발 및 효과: 부모의 언어적 행동, 반응성 및 공동양육을 중심으로

        Objectives: This study aimed to develop a blended learning-based parenting program and examine its effects on the quality of verbal behavior, responsiveness, and co-parenting of working parents with one-year-old infants. Methods: Since both parents were working, the ‘Blended Learning’ method, which integrates online and offline sessions, was used. To evaluate the effectiveness of the developed program, 43 pairs of working parents, each having a one-year-old child were recruited (24 pairs in the experimental groups and 19 pairs in the control group). Parental verbal behaviors, responsiveness, and co-parenting were assessed before and after the eight-week program. The data were analyzed with ANCOVA using the pretest score as a covariate. Results: The parenting program was developed through the following five steps derived from the ADDIE model development process: analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating. The program lasts for eight weeks and consists of four offline and eight online training sessions. After participating in the program, the parents in the experimental group showed improvement in their verbal behaviors and responsiveness during play interactions. There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group on the co-parenting assessment scores. Conclusion: The blended learning-based parenting program proved to be effective in improving the quality of working parents’ verbal behaviors and responsiveness.

        수출형 원전 적용을 위한 유럽형 비파괴검증기술 고찰

        원자력발전 기술은 후쿠시마 원전 사고 발생에도 불구하고 가속화되는 지구온난화에 대처하고 인류의 지속적인 에너지 니즈에 대응하기 위한 최선의 검증된 실용 기술로 받아들여지고 있다. 따라서 노후 원전을 대체해야 하는 원자력 선진국과 새로운 발전원으로 삼고자 하는 신규 원전 도입국의 원전 건설 수요는 당분간 지속될 것으로 기대된다. 우리나라는 90년대부터 원전기술자립을 추진한 결과 2009년 12월 APR1400 4기를 최초로 UAE에 해외 수출한 이래 40년간의 안정적인 원전 건설/운영 경험을 바탕으로 신규 수요가 예상되는 유럽 등 해외시장에서의 원전 건설 수주 확대를 도모하고 있다. APR1400 기반 설계 기술은 2017년 유럽사업자요건(EUR) 부합성 인증서를 취득한 바 있으나 유럽 원전 수주 시장에서의 경쟁력을 제고하고 실질적인 건설에 대비하기 위해서는 설계뿐 아니라 기기 제작 및 건설관련 유럽형 코드 및 기술기준과의 부합성을 설계단계에 미리 확보해야할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 ENIQ 방법에 기초한 유럽형 비파괴검증 기술을 고찰하고 해외 경쟁노형의 적용사례를 조사/검토함으로써 우리나라 수출형 원전의 유럽시장 진출을 위한 비파괴검증기술 분야의 대응 전략 및 방안을 제시하고자 한다. Nuclear power generation technology is still being considered, in spite of the Fukushima accident, as the best realistic energy solution to cope with the global warming crisis and respond to the increasing global demand for energy consumption. Therefore, there is need for additional nuclear power plant (NPP) construction, which is expected to continue increasing. Since the first export of APR1400 to the UAE in a continuing effort to achieve nuclear technology self-confidence, Korea has been considering additional exports of APR1400 to the global NPP market. APR1400 is a design based technology that has successfully completed the assessment process and finally acquired EUR Certification in 2017; however, obtaining compatibility with European code and standards for components manufacturing and construction is essential for competition in the European market. This study reviews the European non-destructive examination inspection qualification technology based on ENIQ methodology, compares this process with domestic practices, investigates cases for other competitive reactors, and finally identifies considerations and strategies to obtain better confidence on inspection quality of APR1400.

        전분 나노입자 첨가가 휘핑크림 품질특성에 미치는 영향

        본 연구를 통해 전분 나노입자의 첨가가 유제품 휘핑크림의 품질특성에 미치는 영향과 휘핑크림의 안정성을 향상시킴을 확인할 수 있었다. 전분 나노입자 첨가는 유화 액적의 계면을 안정화 시킴으로써 휘핑크림의 저장 안정성을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 전분 나노입자 첨가에 의한 휘핑크림의 점도 역시 증가하였고 이로 인하여 휘핑크림의 저장 안정성이 증가하였으며, 액적의 입도 크기 역시 증가하였다. 하지만 3% 이상 전분 나노입자를 첨가하였을 때 오버런은 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 본 연구결과에 따르면 1% 전분 나노입자를 휘핑크림에 첨가하였을 때 휘핑크림의 오버런에 주목할 만한 변화 없이 휘핑크림의 저장 안정성을 향상시킬 수 있었다. This study was performed to investigate how the addition of starch nanoparticles prior to whipping could affect the quality characteristics and stability of full-fat dairy cream. Starch nanoparticles were prepared by dry heating under mildly acidic conditions and added to dairy cream as amount of 1, 3, and 5% (w/w). The whipped cream’s storage stability, viscosity, overrun, and droplet size were investigated in combination with various starch nanoparticle contents. The storage stability and apparent viscosity increased in parallel with the increasing starch nanoparticle content compared to the control. The mean size and homogeneity of the droplets in the whipped cream increased with higher starch nanoparticle addition levels. Even though the whipped cream overrun was reduced by the addition of starch nanoparticles, the 1% addition level exhibited a similar overrun value as the control.

        3색 LED와 유연 광섬유를 적용한 의류용 로고 디자인 연구

        This study suggests a suitable logo design application of a three colors LED light source and flexible plastic optical fiber (POF). In this study, characteristic relevant brightness of (according to the embodiment conditions of the flexible POF for logo design) for smart clothing were analyzed through two experiments. The suitable conditions of the logo design for three colors of light source were observed in ``Experiment 1``. The angle of 80° to 100° and the length of 8cm to 16cm appeared a more suitable condition for green-co-lored and red-colored light sources. The angle of 80° to 100° at a length of 8cm to 12cm appeared a more suitable condition for a blue-colored light source. In ``Experiment 2``, a ``Klavika`` in small letter was selec-ted as suitable logo design for the application POF. The alphabet was separated by a morpheme, which is the minimal linguistic unit. All alphabets were classified into sixteen morphemes. The luminance of four-teen morphemes (realized by the embroidery method) were measured and analyzed. Subsequently, eight mor-phemes appeared to show a relatively equal luminance of 3-4cd/m² in a green-colored light source, 2-3cd/m² in red-colored light source, and 2cd/m² in a blue-colored light source. Four of the fourteen morphemes, showed a 20% brighter level of luminance compared to the eight morphemes above, the cast of combination of green or red light source. This result indicates that a flexible POF with 20% less luminance are believed more suitable for four morphemes combined with a green or red light source. The results of this study provide fundamental data for further approaches to clothing logo design for the application of a flexible POF.
