With designing alignment of railway for urban rail transit, a greater attention is paid to the riding safety and the comfort of the passengers. Especially, cant, transition curve, minimum curve radius are considered as very important alignment factors for the curve. For the above alignment factors, in this study, comparative studies on the design criteria of foreign rail transit are conducted. And reasonable design criteria of the alignment for urban rail transit are proposed.

While the environment of usage of information and technology is getting stable and technology is being developed more deeply due to the globalization, making information, standardization, in order to make a fast response to the new industry strategy and business environment, mutual communication and management of correct and fast information are focused on as fundamental elements of keeping competitive power. Accordingly strategic development of urban transit operation organization, storage of information technology of urban railroad, and buildup of standard information infra are very important, so that computerized information system has been built up standardizing efficient maintenance framework of urban transit facilities. To maintain these facilities efficiently, storing the real-time information by standardizing the maintenance organization and building up computerized information system are very important with management of information history of existing maintenance work. Therefore, for the efficient maintenance of civil facilities among urban transit facilities, standardized facilities classification and definition of management elements, and the plan of designing and building standardized database about civil facilities through standardizing technology resources are described in this paper.

For efficient maintenance on urban transit infrastructure, computerized system using wireless communication system which allows to inquire necessary data and to record maintenance work on the spot in realtime is required. Also, for efficient maintenance progress on urban transit infrastructure which have geographic data, computerized system united with geographic information system that offers visual information is required. In this paper, investigations on new IT technology and on computerized system of foreign country are conducted. And development direction and model of computerized system for maintenance on urban transit infrastructure are proposed.

수십 년 동안, 철도는 차량의 운영과 조작 기술에 맞추어 짧은 길이의 레일을 서로 신축 이음을 두고 연결한 궤도를 이용하여 건설되었다. 그러나 이러한 신축이음들은 궤도 손상과 유지비 증가 등의 많은 단점들을 유발시켰다. 그래서, 철도 기술자들은 차량, 용접, 체결의 기술이 발전함에 따라 열차 하중, 속도의 증가를 위해 레일 사이의 신축 이음을 제거하는 데 많은 관심을 가지게 되었다. 그래서 최근 등장한 것이 기존 레일의 단점들을 해소할 수 있는 CWR궤도이다. 그러나 이러한 CWR궤도는 기존 레일의 단점을 극복할 수 있었으나 레일의 장대화에 따른 온도 하중으로 인한 레일의 좌굴 문제를 야기시켰다. 본 논문에서는 유한 요소 해석을 이용하여 선형 좌굴 해석을 위한 CWR 궤도의 모델과 해석 프로그램인 CWRB를 개발하였다. 레일의 해석 모델은 레일요소 당딤을 고려한 14개의 자유도로 나타내었으며, 체결재, 침목, 도상 저항력을 스프링 요소를 사용하였다. 장대레일의 온도하중에 의한 좌굴 온도 및 모드의 분석으로 장대레일의 온도 좌굴 특성을 고찰하였다. For many decades, the railway was constructed using tracks with jointed rails of relatively short lengths in accordance with rolling and handling technology. The joints cause many drawbacks in the track and lead to significant maintenance cost. So, railroad engineers became interested in eliminating joints to increase service loads ana speeds by improving rolling, welding, and fastening technology. Continuous welded rail(CWR) track has many advantages over the conventional jointed-rail track. But, in the case of the elimination of rail joints, it may cause the track to be suddenly buckled laterally by thermal loads. In this paper, CWR track model and CWRB program are developed for linear buckling analysis using finite element method. Rail element with a total of 14 degrees of freedom is used. The stiffness of the fastener, tie, and ballast bed are included by a set of spring elements. The investigation on the buckling modes and temperature of CWR track is presented.
추진인버터 시험을 위한 실시간 부하 시뮬레이터에 관한 연구

A newly-built inverter has to undergo a series of stress tests in the final stage of production line. This can be achieved by connecting it to a dynamometer consisting of a three-phase machine joined by a rigid shaft to a DC load machine. The latter is controlled to create some specific load characteristic needed for test. In this paper a test method is proposed, in which no mechanical equipment is needed. The suggested test stand consists only of a inverter to be tested and a simulator converter. Both devices are connected back-to-back on th AC-side via smoothing reactors. The simulator operates in real-time as an equivalent load circuit, so that the device under test will only notice the behaviour of a three-phase machine under consideration of the load. In oder to prove rightness of the suggested test method, the simulation and actural experiment carried out emulation for a 2.2 kW induction motor.

This paper describes a low-cost single-phase active power filler, which consists of a half-bridge PWM inverter with a simple control circuit. In order to verify the performance of proposed active power filter, many computer simulations with EMTP codes and experimental works with a hardware prototype were done. Both results confirm that the proposed active power filter shows excellent performance to eliminate the harmonics generated in the single-phase non-linear load. The active power filter has advantage of low implementation cost and compact size, using a half-bridge inverter and a simple control circuit with only one current sensor. So, it can be fabricated as a plug-in type. This paper shows the necessity and a good possibility to apply such advantage to the electric railway system

Most surveillance systems of urban transit are based on CCTV(Closed Circuit Television). However, there is limitation that the passive monitoring system using CCTV in urban transit surveillance system to monitor massive environment applies thousands of cameras and it depends on operator's instinctive judgement whether it happens an accident or disaster. Urban transit operation corporations try to introduce the intelligent technology to overcome these problems as mentioned above. The intelligent system can be organized various ways and made configuration for purpose and function. In this paper, we describe the configuration problems of the existing surveillance system and propose the proper intelligent system configuration for urban transit. We expect that the proposed configurations are very helpful to introduce the intelligent technology for urban transit surveillance system.
