In recent, the demand of high-productivity injection mold is increased because of the growth of international packaging market which is induced by an increase of population. The increase of productivity leads to the large-capacity injection molding machine and peripheral devices. For solving this problem, the stack mold which is based on the exsiting machine and device has researched in advanced countries actively. In this paper, as the preliminary research of stack mold development, the stack mold which has 2 level ${\times}4$ cavity was designed and fabricated. Besides, the motion and structural analysis were performed to verify the stability of developed stack mold.

Recently, the demand of high-productivity injection mold increases since the consumption of packaging grows in the world. Stack mold is composed of more than two molds and it has very high productivity and economic efficiency. In advanced country, stack mold which has 4Level×96 cavity was developed already but, in occasion of domestic mold industry, there is no study of stack mold. In this study, stack mold which has 2Level×4cavity is developed for securing the technique of manufacturing high-productivity mold.
SWS 50B 鋼의 疲勞龜裂成長擧動과 Threshold S.I.F. (ΔK_th)에 미치는 應力比(R)의 影響에 관한 硏究

In this paper, a study on fatigue crack growth behavior for SWS 5OB steel was introduced within the framework of LEFM. Compact tension specimens were used and da/dN-ΔK data were analyzed concerning to the R values of 0. 1, 0. 2, 0. 3, 0. 4, 0.5 and 0.8. In order to find out the values of ΔK_th, ΔK-decreasing fatigue test method was adapted and ΔK decreasing rate was fixed such as (dΔK/da)/ΔK=-0.14. ΔP-constant fatigue test method was conducted by the Standard Fatigue Testing Method described in ASTM E647-81. From test results, the following conclusions were obtained. (1) The stable crack growth region of SWS 50B was applicable to eq. (1. 1) and constants C and m were influenced by R. (2) ΔK-decreasing test method was considered to be useful to determine the value of ΔK_th. (3) Increasing R resulted the effect of increasing C and decreasing m. (4) Increasing R resulted the effect of decreasing ΔK_th and the effect of R on ΔK_th for SWS 50B steel was expressed as ΔK_th=23.2(1-R)^0.464

This paper presents an integrated machining error compensation method based on PNN(Polynomial Neural Network) approach and inspection database of OMM(On-Machine-Measurement) system. To efficiently analyze the machining errors, two machining error parameters are defined and modeled using the PNN approach, which is used to determine machining errors for the considered cutting conditions. Experiments are carried out to validate the approaches proposed in this paper. In result, the proposed methods can be effectively implemented in a real machining situation, producing much fewer errors.
