The Waterproofing works are not only preventing underground water but also improving durability of concrete structure. Also test methods and materials of improvement will be studied in these days. In proving waterproofing materials apply to construction, but there are a lot of defect, It will make a economical loss. This paper will be examined the adhesive property of self adhesive asphalt sheet to minimize the problem on construction and environment, we test the materials performance and working in the jobsite to decrease of quality defect and ensure of prolonged durability of concrete structure. Besides, this study examined the material characters such as tension property, tear property, temperature dependence, heat resistance and adhesion stability etc.

The ultimate goal of waterproofing on the floor affected by moving load is to promote the durability of the concrete structure with commercially viable waterproof materials for construction. Therefore, it is considered to study test method of the safety and quality for non-exposed waterproof material is affected by moving load such as vehicles. Accordingly, this study aims to identify the capacity evaluation, test method, and quality standard for evaluating the safety of non-exposed waterproof materials that are applied with all kinds of moving loads, with a view to securing the durability of the structural floor in preparation for water permeation and to reducing maintenance and repair costs through the reinforcement of the long-term durability of waterproof material for bridges.

With regard to the foundation for the selection of appropriate materials in waterproof and root resistance membrane construction methods, and the selection and development of construction methods, it is necessary to study the materials and construction methods for waterproof and root resistance membrane that have been applied in artificial ground nationwide so far. After examining and analyzing the existing waterproof and root resistance membrane construction methods, it was found that they could be divided into a type of employing waterproof and root resistance membrane using single materials, another type that employed waterproof and root resistance membrane by composing materials in a mixed way, and the other type that constructed the waterproof and root resistance membrane layers independently. It is expected that the classification and establishment of the construction methods discussed in this study will set the foundation for the development of waterproof and root resistance membrane technology, such as selection of materials for waterproof and root resistance membrane layers, construction technology, and the guidelines.

This study deals with the performance evaluation on waterproofing and rootproofing membrane which is made from combining both the fiberglass reinforced plastic and the self adhesion butyl rubber sheet for Green Roof System. This research showed that the FRP rootproofing layer is effective in blocking the intrusion of the plant roots, and that the flexibility of the self adhesion butyl rubber sheet makes it easy to withstand against damage from the movement of the concrete foundation. As follows, when using the waterproofing and rootproofing membrane which combines the two layers, long-term stability of the structures and the further development of the Green Roof industry are expected.
