A study of the pack cemcented SiC coating on graphite was performed and the process conditions were evaluated by means of experimental design. The content of Si, P2O5, B and Al2O3 reaction temperature, reaction time and acid treatment wast tested as the experimental variables. The results were analyzed and compared by the characteristic value of 10% weight loss by oxidation. The acid treatment exhibited the most effective anti-oxidation property and the optimum conditions were the powder composition of 20% Si, 3% B and 77% SiC, the reaction temperature of 1550$^{\circ}C$ for 7 hours with phosphoric acid treatment. The pack coating performed under this condition improved the 10% weight loss oxidation temperature by 514$^{\circ}C$ compared to the bare graphite.

To increase the anti-oxidation and anti-wear properties of graphite for the propellant-burning environment, SiC, Pt and Al2O3 multi-layer coatings were conducted succesisvely and the optimum condition was researched. The SiC layer was produced by pack cementation and SiC layer in thickness of 30 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ coating was produced after coating for 6 hours. Pt layer was coated by sputtering, and the Al2O3 layer was coated by reactive sputtering. the thickness of Pt layer and Al2O3 layer was less than one-tenth of that of SiC layer. The pack coated specimens and multi-layer coated specimens were made using above conditions and test-fired. The test result showed that the wear rate of SiC layer is approximately 1/10 compared to that of uncoated graphite.
미세 발열체의 발열특성과 열처리 온도에 따른 Pt/Cr 이중층의 특성

In this paper, we fabricated the micro hotplate which consisted of a thin film heater(Pt/Cr bilayers) sandwiched with the thermal oxide and E-beam evaporated oxide. And we studied the electrical and the structural properties of Pt/Cr bilayers due to annealing temperature. When we compared the temperature measured from type k thermocouples with the temperature acquired from I.R. thermo-vision system according to the variations of emissivity, the emissivity of E-beam evaporated oxide was 0.5. The sheet resistance of Pt/Cr bilayers didn`t depend on the Cr layer thickness, and it was considered as the existence of CrO between the Pt and the Cr layer. When the annealing temperature was increased from 500℃ to 700℃, the out-diffusions of Cr were increased(which was confirmed by AES depth profile) and the grain size of Pt(220) phase was enlarged also(analyzed by XRD and SEM photographs). From the results of XRD analysis and AES depth profile, the Pt/Cr bilayers annealed at 500℃ were more stable than any other cases in structural properties.
