기후변화에 따른 국내 벼 품종과 재배기술의 적응성에 관한 고찰

In recent years, the temperature of Korea has been rapidly increasing due to global warming. Over the past 40 years, the temperature of Korea has risen by about 1.26℃ compared to that in the early 1980s. By region, the west region of the Gangwon Province was the highest at 1.76℃ and the Jeonnam Province was the lowest at 0.96℃. As the temperature continues to rise, it is expected that the rice yield will decrease in the future using the current standard cultivation method. As a result of global warming, the periods in which rice cultivation could be possible in regions each year has increased compared those to the past, showing a wide variety from 110 days in Taebaek to 180 days in Busan and Gwangyang. In addition, the transplanting time was delayed by 3-5 days in all regions. The average annual yield of rice showed an increasing trend when we analyzed the average productivities of developed varieties for cooked rice since the 1980s, especially in the early 1990s, which showed a rapid increase in productivity. The relationship between the average temperature at the time of development and the rice yield was divided into the periods before and after 1996. The higher the average temperature, the lower the yield of the developed varieties until 1996. However, since 1996, the increase in the average temperature did not show a trend in the productivity of the developed varieties. The climate change adaptability of developed rice varieties was investigated by analyzing the results of growing crops nationwide from 1999 to 2016 and the change in the annual yields of developed varieties and recently developed varieties as basic data to investigate the growth status of the crops in the country. As a result of annual comparisons of the yields of Taebongbyeo (2000) and Ungwangbyeo (2004) developed in the early 2000s for Odaebyeo, which was developed in the 1980s, the annual yields were relatively higher in varieties in the 2000s despite the increase in temperature. The annual yields of Samgwangbyeo (2003) and Saenuribyeo (2007), which were recently developed as mid-late-type varieties, were higher than those of an earlier developed variety called Chucheongbyeo, which was developed in the 1970s. Despite the rapid increase in temperature, rice cultivation technology and variety development are well adapted to climate change. However, since the biological potential of rice could reach its limit, it is necessary to develop continuous response technology.
분쇄방법에 따른 조, 기장, 수수의 항산화성분 및 항산화활성

대표적인 잡곡인 조, 기장, 수수에 대하여 핀밀을 이용한 분쇄와 저온초미분쇄기를 이용한 방법으로 제분하여 이들에 대한 항산화성분 및 항산화활성을 분석한 결과 핀밀로 분쇄한 경우 평균 입자직경은 각각 102.12, 89.52 및 102.25 ㎛로 나타났으며, 저온초미분쇄는 각각 9.43, 9.52 및 10.18 ㎛로 핀밀에 비해 10배 이상 작은 것으로 나타났다. 수분함량은 분쇄방법에 따라 큰 차이를 보이지 않았고 조지방 함량은 저온초미분쇄가 높은 함량을 보였으며, 식이섬유 함량은 저온초미분쇄보다 핀밀분쇄 시료에서 높은 함량을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 총 γ-oryzanol 함량은 조에서 핀밀 및 저온초미분쇄 시료에서 각각 116.07 및 145.30 ㎍/g으로 나타났으며, 추출수율은 저온초미분쇄 시료가 핀밀 분쇄시료에 비해 유의적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 메탄올 추출물에 대한 총 폴리페놀, 플라보노이드 및 탄닌 함량은 대체적으로 분쇄방법에 따라 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았으나 수수 총폴리페놀 함량은 각각 14.58 및 15.03 ㎎/g ER로 유의적인차이를 보였다. Phenolic compound를 정량 분석한 결과 조는 pyrogallol, gallic acid, (+)-catechin, salicylic acid, ferulic acid, rutin 등이, 기장은 pyrogallol, rutin, gallic acid, kaempfrol, salicylic acid 등이, 수수는 (+)-catechin, salicylic acid, pyrogallol, myricetin, hesperidin, chlorogenic acid 등이 높은 함량을 나타내었다. 수수 메탄올 추출물의 radical 소거활성이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 저온초미분쇄 시료 추출물이 각각 178.10 및 251.56 ㎎ TE/g ER로 핀밀분쇄 시료 추출물보다 유의적으로 높은 활성을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 분쇄방법에 따른 시료의 메탄올 추출물의 항산화성분 및 활성을 검정한 결과 항산화성분은 대체적으로 핀밀분쇄 시료에 비해 저온초미분쇄 시료에서 약간 높은 함량으로 보였으나 큰 차이를 보이지 않았고 항산화활성은 수수와 기장에서 저온초미분쇄 시료 추출물이 핀밀분쇄 시료에 비해 유의적으로 높은 활성을 나타내었다. We evaluated the antioxidant compounds and activity of the methanolic extracts of foxtail millet (FM), proso millet (PM), and sorghum (SG) using different pulverizing methods (pin mill and ultra fine). The particle size of the FM, PM, and SG were 102.12, 89.52, and 102.25 ㎛, respectively, using the pin mill pulverizer. The sizes were 9.43, 9.52, and 10.18 ㎛, respectively, using the ultra fine pulverizer. There was no difference in moisture, crude fat, ash, or protein content between the two different pulverizing methods. The total γ-oryzanol content of the FM using the pin mill and ultra fine pulverizers was 116.07 and 145.30 ㎍/g, respectively. The total polyphenol content of the SG using the pin mill and ultra fine pulverizers was 14.58 and 15.03 ㎎/g extract residue, respectively. There was no difference in total flavonoid or tannin content of the methanol extracts between the two different pulverizing methods. The major phenolic compounds in FM were pyrogallol, gallic acid, (+)-catechin, salicylic acid, ferulic acid, and rutin; in PM, they were pyrogallol, rutin, gallic acid, kaempfrol, and salicylic acid; in SG, they were (+)-catechin, salicylic acid, pyrogallol, myricetin, hesperidin and chlorogenic acid. SG had a higher radical scavenging activity than FM or PM extracts. The DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities of the SG extracts using the ultra fine pulverizer were 178.10 and 251.56 ㎎ TE/g extract residue, respectively. We noted a significant correlation between free radical scavenging activity and polyphenolic compound.
