콘크리트의 결합재를 Polymer로 품질개선하여 만든 2상계 복합재료를 최근에는 콘크리트-폴리머 복합체(Concrete-Polymer)라 부르며 1947년 Griffith에 의해 Polymer종류, 양생조건 및 제령 변화에 따른 Polymer cement mortar의 결합특성 및 물성시험이 실시된 이후 1950년대에 Polymer cement mortar가 개발되기 시작하였으며 1960년대에 이르러 교량상판, 상하수도관, 담수화 시설 등에 사용하려는 폴리머 침투 시멘트모르터 (Polymer penetration cement mortar)의 연구가 수행되므로써 Polymer cement mortar 에 대한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 최근에는 여러 분야에서 신소재, 첨단소재, 신물질, 신기술 등의 용어가 자주 사용되면서 건설소재 분야에서도 종래의 시멘트 단일 소재로서의 단점을 보충하기 위한 고성능, 고기능성재료 및 기술을 필요로 하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고분자 고성능방수제의 제조 목적으로 실제 응용에 있어서 가장 손쉽고 효과적이라 생각되는 아크릴계 모노머를 이용 Poly(dodecyl methacrylate -co-2-diethylamimoethyl methacrylate)[Poly(DMA-co-DAMA)]공중합체를 합성하고 에멀젼화 시켜 시멘트 혼화용 폴리머를 제조하여 건축용 시멘트 방수제로서의 응용에 관한 연구를 수행하였다.

Softners-BHICS, BBICS, and BTICS were prepared from 1, 2-disubstituted imidazoline compounds, such as 1-behenoylaminoethyl-1-glycidyl-2-heneicosylimidazolinium chloride(BHIC), 1-behenoylbis(aminoethyl)-1-glycidyl-2-heneicosylimidazolinium chloride(BBIC), and 1-behenoyltris(aminoethyl)-1-glycidyl-2-heneicosylimidazolinium chloride(BTIC), and treated to acrylic fiber. The measurements of softness, lubricating and antistatic properties showed that they have not only good softness and lubricating property but also a little antistatic property. Furthermore, the initial bending resistance for BBICS and BTICS was 5 grade, and remained 3∼4 grade after 5 times washing. As results of these tests, they showed good softner effects having durability. The prepared softners were proved to be durable softner through a series of experimental results for washable properties of feeling by varying treating temperature and pH change.

친유성기와 친수성기를 함유한 긴 탄화수소 화합물인 dodecylmetacrylate와 2-diethylaminoethyl methacrylate로부터 DMA-co-DAMA를 합성하고 물에 쉽게 유화시키기 위해 양이온화 하여 아세트화 아크릴 공중합체를 합성하였다. 합성된 공중합체와 아세트화 공중합체의 구조를 IR, NMR 등으로 확인하고 GPC로부터 분자량을 산출하였으며 C. H. N분석도 하였다. 아세트화 아크릴 공중합체는 물에 완전히 유화가 가능하였고 물에 대한 유화 안정성이 증진되었다. 위에서 합성한 아세트화 아크릴공중합체에 Sodium Silicate, Sodium gluconate, Oleic acid Triethanolamine을 브렌딩하여 제조된 혼화용 폴리머 분산제(PDCM-PDD)를 제조하였다. 이것을 가지고 용융시험한 결과 45배 희석시 강도비 1.02, 흡수비 0.36∼0.57, 투수비는 수압 100g/㎠에서 0.44, 3㎏/㎠에서 0.55로 우수한 방수성을 확인하였다. DMA-co-DAMA were synthesized from 2-diethylaminoethyl methacrylate and dodecyl-metacrylate containing long chain hydrocarbon group with hydrophilic and hydrophobic radicals. To facilitate water emulsification, acrylic copolymer was canonized by acetic acid to produce acetated acrylic copolymer. The structures of the synthesized copolymer and acetated copolymers were confirmed by IR, NMR, and molecular weight was measured by GPC, and C. H. N elemental analysis. Acetated acrylic copolymers were perfectly emulsified in water and showed increased emulsion stability. Polymer dispersion for cement modifier(PDCM-PDD) was prepared by blending of the guaternized acrylic copolymer synthesized above, sodium silicate, sodium gluconate, oleic acid, and triethanol amine. The result with prepared polymer dispersion of cement modifier was examined, and it was found that excellent waterproffing effect; Water permeability ratio is 0.44 under the water pressure of 100g/㎠ and 0.55 under 3㎏/㎠, and water absorption ratio is 0.36∼0.47 and 1.02 compressive strength ratio at mixed ratio of water/PDCM-PDD is 45 times.

MDABM and MDAEW, as a accelerating weight loss agents, were prepared by adding water to myristyldimethylbenzylammonium bromide(MDAB) and myristyldmethylethylammonium ethyl sulfate(MDAE) synthesized. As a result of weight loss finishing of the MDABW and MDAEW with NaOH on PET fiber, the ratio of weight loss of MDABW was very larger than that of MDAEW. This result showed that quaternary ammonium bromide had higher weight loss effect than quaternary ammonium sulfate, and the ratio of weight loss was greatly varied with the kind of quaternary ammonium salts used. In these conditions, proper treatment concentration, treatment time, and treatment bath ration were about 8g/l, 60~90min, and 40:1~50:1, respectively.
Permanent Press 가공용 실리콘 유연제의 합성과 그의 특성화

Silicone softner(SSN-3) for permanent press(PP) finish was prepared by blending beef tallow hardened oil for improving softness, water, the emulsion, which was synthesized from pentaerythritol monostearate as a softening component and silicone oil KF-96 as a lubricating component. The prepared SSN-3 and the PP finishing resin were applied to PP finishing cotton broad cloth and P/C gingham samples using one bath method. The properties such as crease recovery, tear strength, bending resistance test were tested. The samples treated with SSN-3 and PP finishing resin have improved properties, compared with nontreated samples, those treated only with PP finishing resin, those treated with commercial PP finishing softners and PP finishing resin. Also from the bending resistance test, the two kinds of fabric samples treated with SSN-3 of 3% showed grade 5 and these were good enough in feeling.
