본 연구에서는 물체의 열전도 특성을 감지하여 임의의 대기온도에서도 열전도가 다른 몇가지 물체의 재질을 식별할 수 있는 센서에 대해 연구하였다. 임의의 대기온도에서 센서의 온도 값을 계산하기 위해 3차 Spline 보간식을 적용하여 계산된 센서의 온도에 따라 재질을 식별하는데, 실측된 온도와 비교하였을 경우 매우 잘 일치하였다. 열전도 특성을 이용한 물체의 재질인식용 능동센서를 설계하였으며 C 언어를 이용한 물체의 재질 식별 프로그램을 개발하였다. 동일한 대기 온도상에서의 재질별 온도응답특성을 조사하였으며 대기온도변화에 따른 재질별 온도응답특성을 조사하였으며, 대기온도 변화에 따라 3 비교점의 온도는 거의 직선적으로 변화하고 평행상태를 유지함을 알 수 있었다. This paper describes a noble robot sensor designed to recognize an unknown material by measuring its thermal conductivity on various ambient temperature. The excellent agreement has been obtained between the measured sensor temperature and the calculated sensor temperature by cubic spline interpolation. The active sensor to measure the thermal conductivity of a gripped object was designed and the software program using C language to discriminate objects made of different materials was developed. The temperature response characteristics of different materials on the same ambient temperature was investigated. In this paper, a development of model based battery SOC indicator is described. The proposed method is independent upon initial SOC, is reliable on the sudden change of load, and could estimate the available driving distance. The mathematical model of battery which has relation of the current, voltage and SOC estimates the SOC by least square estimation to minimize the error between measured voltage and estimated voltage. For experiment, the charging and discharging system using computer was designed to acquire the current and voltage data for model. The feasibility in electric vehicle was confirmed by variable load testing using the developed SOC indicator by stand-alone type microcontroller.
