        다문화시대 초기 청소년의 사회적 거리감 분석 연구

        본 연구는 다문화시대를 맞이하여 초기 청소년들이 국내 소수집단에 대해 가지고 있는 사회적 거리감을 분석하였다. 초기 청소년이 국내 소수집단(외국인노동자, 국제결혼가정, 탈북자, 조선족)에 대한 사회적 거리감을 살펴보았다. 또한 이러한 태도가 민족정체성, 현실 갈등 인식, 준거집단의 요인에 의해 어떻게 영향을 받는지 분석하였다. 1101명의 중학생을 분석한 결과, 초기 청소년들은 한국인과 미국인에 비해 소수집단에 대해 모두 사회적 거리감을 크게 느꼈으며, 국제결혼가정 자녀, 탈북자, 외국인노동자, 조선족의 순으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 거리감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과, 준거집단의 영향력이 가장 크게 나타났으며, 현실 갈등 인식과 단일민족정체성 역시 영향을 미쳤다. 이를 통해 초기 청소년은 자신과 가까운 부모나 친구, 선생님이 소수집단에 대한 태도의 인식이 어떠한가를 판단기준으로 삼는 특징이 있으며, 소수집단을 통해 한국사회가 피해를 얻을 수 있다고 생각하는 경향과 단일민족정체성이 강할수록 소수집단에 대한 부정적 태도가 나타남을 파악할 수 있었다. This study investigated the level of early adolescents` social distance to minority groups(foreign laborers, the children of international marriage couples, North Korean refugees and Chinese Koreans in Korea) and explored factors influencing their social distance. For this, 1104 Korean middle school students in Seoul completed a questionnaire including measures such as Korean identity, feeling of realistic conflict perception, perception of reference groups(peer group, parents and teachers) and social distance to four minority groups. The results are as follows. First, they showed far feeling of social distance to four minority groups in comparison with in-group, Korean group and American group which was found as the favorable group by previous studies. They expressed most intimate feeling to the children of international marriage couples, and next North Korean refugees, foreign laborers and Chinese Koreans in Korea in order. Second, by regression analysis of influencing factors to the social distance, adolescents` perception of reference group to minority group was found as the most effective factor among the three factors to explain early adolescents` social distance. Korean identity and feeling of realistic conflict perception play a negative role in the adolescents` social distance. Korean early adolescents tend to follow the perception and judgement of their reference groups.

        정치사회화 이론에 근거한 탈북자 시민성 연구와 시민교육에의 함의

        본 연구는 이주자의 정치사회화 이론인 저항이론, 노출이론, 전이가능성이론에 근거하여 탈북자들의 시민성을 파악할 때, 어떤 시민교육적 함의점을 찾을 수 있는지 탐색해 보았다. 저항이론(Resistance Theory)은 이주 전 초기 사회화의 영향력을 강조하는 이론으로서, 탈북자들이 북한에서의 초기 사회화를 통해 어떠한 태도가 언제 형성되어 지속되는가, 그리고 이것이 남한에서의 재사회화에서 어떻게 발현되고 있는가를 검토하는데 유용하다. 노출이론(Exposure Theory)은 이주 후 새로운 국가에서의 정치사회화의 영향력을 강조하는 이론으로서, 탈북자들의 남한에서의 재사회화 과정과 결과를 논의하는 데 근거가 될 수 있다. 전이가능성이론(Transferability Theory)은 개인이 정치와 관련된 경험과 관심을 어느 정도 축적했는가를 중점적으로 파악하므로, 북한에서의 정치적 경험과 남한에서의 정치적 경험사이의 상관관계, 또한 개인의 축적적 경험과 주체적 능력을 검증하는 데 필요하다. This study is to figure out the implications when the political socialization theories of immigrants applied to understand the citizenship of North Korean immigrants. First, resistance theory, emphasizes the importance of premigration learning, could be applied in finding when and how North Korean immigrants acquired political predispositions through early socialization, futhermore which of these are longstanding and manifested in South Korea. Second, the exposure theory, focuses on the new political environment, could be based on understanding the process and result of re-socialization in the South. Finally, transferability theory contends that immigrants are able to draw on past experience and transfer the lessons learned from their old environment, applying them to the new host environment. This theory is useful to comprehend the correlation between the experience in North Korea and in South Korea, verify accumulation of experience and the ability of transferring of North Korean immigrants.

        Political Attitudes of North Korean Adolescent Migrants and the Task of Social Studies Education

        This study is to figure out the political attitude of North Korean adolescent migrants and discuss the task of social studies education. This research conducted a survey on 173 adolescent defectors to identify political efficacy and political trust and factors which may affect their political attitudes. The results found that North Korean migrants show high level of political efficacy and political trust. It indicates that they have ``allegiant`` political orientation where both political efficacy and trust are high. Rather than the initial impact from political socialization in North Korea, political socialization experiences and residence in the South are identified as significant factors resulting in the formation of political attitudes of North Korean adolescent migrants. Therefore, the social studies education can be well-performed for democratic citizenship in reflecting the characteristics of political attitudes of North Korean adolescent defectors.

        19대 총선에 관한 청소년의 정치적 대화와 매스미디어 접촉이 정치적 태도 함양에 미치는 영향

        This study is to examine the real state of political conversation and the use of mass-media about the 19th general election and analyse the effects of political conversation and use of mass-media on the political attitude of youth. Independent factors are political conversation and the mass-media use about the 19th election, and dependent variables are political interest, political efficacy, political trust and the sense of political participation of youth. For this, a self-administered survey was conducted. The sample was 691 high school students in Seoul. Analyses of Frequency, t-test and multiple regression were conducted, The result of this study are as follows, Firstly, youths have more frequent political conversation with their family in comparison with peers and teachers of school. Youths use newspaper (including internet newspaper) and TV in similar level for the information on the 19th general election, Secondly, Multiple regression shows that political conversation affects all of the political interest, political efficacy, political trust and the sense of political participation of youth, In addition, the contact of mass-media is a significant factor in political interest, political efficacy and the sense of political participation.

        한국에서 사육중인 모돈 및 30, 60, 90일령 돼지의 돼지파보바이러스에 대한 혈청학적 역학조사

        A total of 701 swine sera from 55 swine farms (Mar, 1998 through Feb, 2001) were nation-widely collected for the presence of antibody to porcine parvovirus (PPV) in sows and 30-, 60-, 90-day-old pigs. Sero-prevalence by haemagglutination inhibition assay with guinea pig red blood cells was investigated on the basis of year, region and season, respectively. In general, there was no significant difference with gradual decrease of passive immunity for the sero-prevalence to PPV in sows and 30-, 60-, 90-day-old pigs for the period of 1999 and 2000. However, regional variation was observed in the provinces of Kyonggi, Choongnam and Kyungnam, Natural infection of the virus in 90-day-old pigs was increased during the fall and the winter. Thus, it seems that the natural infection of PPV in growing pigs may be attributed to the increased outbreak of postweaning multisystemic wasting syndorme in co-infection with porcine circoviruses.

        사회과 영재교육의 동향과 과제

        The purpose of this study is to explore the trends and the characteristics of the gifted and talented education in social studies. A recent trend of the gifted education aims at respecting a variety of abilities of all students. However, there is a lack of relevant research on the gifted education of social studies in South Korea even after Gifted and Talented Education Promotion Act, which pursues a goal of expanding the opportunities for the development of giftedness, began to be implemented in 2003. This study reviews academic works on the gifted education in social studies identified through ERIC and Pro Quest and also analyzed the research trends on gifted education in South Korea. Gifted and talented education in social studies in Korea and the West is characterized by interdisciplinary approach, problem-solving strategies, integrated curriculum, project-based learning, and problem-based learning. Follow-up studies are expected to conduct comparative research among countries where gifted education is well implemented and verify the effectiveness of gifted education programs of Korea.

      • 방향족 화합물의 할로 메칠화 반응

        Biphenyl의 para position에 methylene group을 도입 시키는 방법으로 paraformaldehyde와 dimethylamine을 반응시켜 Mannich Base인 (1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-dimethyl)-dimethli amine을 합성해 보았으나, 전혀 반응이 진행되지 않았다. 즉 , Biphenyl에 강한 activating group이 없으므로 Mannich Base을 사용한 방법은 효과적이 못된다. 따라서, 다른 방법으로 biphenyl에 bromomethylation을 진행 시켜서, 두 개의 methylene group을 도입시켰다. Bromomethylation은 다음과 같이 사용하는 시약 및 실험 방법 등을 고려하여 3가지 방법으로 시도 하였다. 1)1,3,5-trioxane + HBr in AcOH + paraformaldehyde 사용법, 2)Hbr in AcOH + paraformaldehyde 사용법, 3) NaBr + H₂SO₄+paraformaldehyde 사용법, 이상의 3가지 방법 중에서 NaBr+ H₂SO₄+ paraformaldehyde 사용법이 가장 좋은 결과를 얻었다. 이러한 system에서 반응을 진행시킨 결과 69% 의 높은 수율 (87%의 purity)로 4,4'-dibromomethylbiphenyl 합성에 성공할 수 있었다. The synthetic method for the induction of methylene group on the para position of arenes is of importance. Since the weak activation effect of phenyl group on the electrophilic substitution reaction, the induction of methylene group by way of Mannich base using paraformaldehyde and dimethylamine was unsuccessful. It was found that halomethylation of byphenyl is only the way for the preparation of di-p-methylenebiphenyl. Especially, bromomethylation was turn out to be more reliable synthetic method than chloromethylation. Herein, we developed 3 protocols for the synthesis of 4,4'-dibromomethylbiphenyl. In addition, the best result was obtained using NaBr + H₂SO₄paraformaldehyde protocol in 69% yield.
