초기 부모 - 자녀 결합형태 및 가족 기능과 아동의 외로움간의 관계
박인전(In Jeon Park),우민정(Min Jeung Woo) 한국아동가족복지학회 2001 한국가족복지학 Vol.6 No.2
This study investigated the relationships between children-perceived parent-child bonding type in early stage, family functioning, and children`s loneliness. The 899 children who participated in the study were 5th and 6th grade students. The main findings of the study were as follows: 1. Children`s loneliness was negatively related to `maternal care` and `paternal care`, whereas it was positively related to `maternal overprotection` and `paternal overprotection` and family functioning was negatively related to loneliness. Both `maternal care` and `paternal care` were positively correlated with family functioning, but `maternal overprotection` and `paternal overprotection` were negatively correlated with family functioning. 2. In whole children, `maternal care` and `paternal overprotection` directly influenced children`s loneliness and `maternal care` and `paternal care` indirectly influenced children`s loneliness via `family cohesion`. However, what to be noted here is that for boys only `maternal care` directly influenced children`s loneliness whereas for girls `maternal overprotection` and `paternal overprotection` directly influenced children`s loneliness. And in both boys and girls, `maternal care` and `paternal care` indirectly influenced children`s loneliness through `family cohesion`. Finally, it was also found that family cohesion among family functions directly influenced children`s loneliness.
아동기 부모 - 자녀의 결합형태와 사회적 능력과의 관계
박인전(In Jeon Park) 한국아동가족복지학회 1998 한국가족복지학 Vol.3 No.2
The purpose of this study was to examine how children`s perceived parent bonding types were related to children`s social competence. The subjects of this study were 291 mothers and their children of fifth and sixth grades in the three elementary schools located in T metropolitan city. Children as the subjects of this study were surveyed using Parental Bonding Instrument(PBI), and their mothers rated children`s social competence using modified ISCS(Iowa Social Competence Scale). The statistics such as frequency, percentile, mean, pearson`s correlation, one-way ANOVA and scheffe`s test, regression analyses, and canonical correlation analyses were used for data analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. Children`s social competence and the children`s perceived parent bonding type were significantly different depending on children`s sex, their parent`s educational level, father`s occupation type and monthly income. 2. There existed significant correlations between the children`s social competence and parent bonding type perceived by children. 3. The canonical correlation analyses according to two variables - the parent bonding type and the children`s social competence - showed that the best predictor of children`s social competence among four factors of parent bonding type was `maternal care`. Among the five children`s social competence measures, the one predicted best by parent bonding type was `capability`. This also showed that the parent bonding type variables accounted for about 14% of the variation in children`s social competence.
