부유식 수상태양광 발전소의 대규모화 추세에 따라 경제성 및 신뢰성 향상을 도모할 수 있는 진보된 계류시스템 설계의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 부유식 구조물의 계류에 적용하여 경제성 개선을 기대할 수 있는 버켓 형태의 계류 앵커(이하 버켓 앵커)에 대한 설계법을 개발하였다. 버켓 앵커는 지반에 관입되어 계류 하중에 대한 저항 매커니즘을 형성하는 패드아이 및 스커트부와 설치 시 스커트를 지반에 관입시키는 상부 중량부로 구성된다. 개발 설계법은 계류 하중 작용점이 파괴 변위에 도달하였을 때의 극한 하중 크기를 앵커의 성능으로 간주하여 임의의 하중 각도에서의 앵커 성능을 평가할 수 있는 파괴 포락선 식 도출에 그 목적이 있다. 지반-구조 유한요소해석을 통하여 고려 가능한 모든 각도에서의 극한 하중의 수평, 수직 성분을 산정한 후 해당 데이터에 대해 최소 제곱법 기반의 곡선 피팅을 수행하여 파괴 포락선 식을 도출한다. 대표적인 지반 종류 및 다양한 크기의 앵커 조합에 대한 파괴 포락선 그룹 수립을 통해 특정 지반 조건 및 소요 계류 하중에 적합한 버켓 앵커 사이즈의 용이한 결정이 가능하며 콘크리트 부재 설계 시 파괴 포락선 식을 이용하여 소요하중을 산정할 수 있다. The trend elevating the scale of the floating photovoltaic power plant requires an advanced way to design the mooring system to promote the reliability and the economic feasibility. In this research, the design method of the novel concrete bucket anchor which is expected to reduce the cost compared to the conventional block anchor has been developed. The bucket anchor has the skirt part that gives a main role in having the soil resist the external load transferred from the padeye and the lid part designed to fulfill the required weight for the complete installation of the skirt in the soil. The developed design method considers the failure load that is exerted to the anchor in ultimate state in which the loading point of the anchor reaches the failure displacement the performance of an anchor. The objective of the proposed method is to make the failure envelope that can be used to calculate the performance of an anchor for the all possible loading angles. Soil-structure finite element analysis is performed to derive the vertical and horizontal components of the failure loads for the angles considered. The data set is used to get the failure envelope and its formulation through the curve fitting process based on least squares approximation. The group of the failure envelopes for the combinations of the representative types of soils and the various sizes of anchors can be established, which can make it easy to decide the proper sizes of the anchors for the required mooring loads with the specific soil conditions. The required load for the design of the concrete can be estimated from the formulation of a fitted curve.

In the shipbuilding industry, IMO (International Maritime Organization) has concerned about global warming so they has forced the people in this field to fallow the protocol, “The International Convention for The Prevention of Pollution from Ships.” To reduce greenhouse gases, the nuclear power source is considered as an alternative for a ship engine. Among many element technologies related to unclear powered ship, we have developed passive residual heat removal system (PRHRS) because of its importance. In our study, many other concepts, ideas, and designs were reviewed and the new concept of PRHRS was proposed. To evaluate our concept, numerical analysis was performed. The results indicated that our concept of PRHRS is proper to be installed in a ship. The result will be used as the reference data for a passive heat removal system design of a nuclear powered ship.

The simultaneous occurrence of primary glomerulonephritis in identical twins has been rarely reported previously. It has suggested that genetic factors may play an important role in the pathogenesis of primary glomerulonephritis. We describe a pair of 17-year-old identical twin brothers with asymptomatic proteinuria, one with histologically proven minimal change disease and the other with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. HLA typing in twin brothers revealed an identical phenotype consisting of A25, A33, B44, B54, Cwl, Cw7, DR7 and DRB1. To our knowledge, this is the first case of glomerulonephritis in identical twins in Korea.
