문화 전수자로서의 여성의 역할: Song of Solomon과 The Joy Luck Club 비교연구

This paper aimed at revaluing the meaning of woman as a cultural initiator by examining the novels, Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison and The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. In those novels, the writer tried to reconstruct the neglected history of their immigrant societies in the United States. As they assimilated into American culture that had an multiple but mostly WASP- oriented, they gradually forgot their own culture and took it for granted that they were of American origin from the beginning. But the processes in admitting American culture, they had a conflict "who am I" from the racially and sexually discriminated circumstances. They had been protested, but in the course of closing the gap, they had an inner conflict from their native values from their elders. In Song of Solomon, Morrison tried to finding the meaning of native African community culture from the initiation process of Milkman Dead, who had a naive point of view on his society, by reconstructing the distorted myth of Solomon, who flies to Africa. In the process, Morrison cast reflections on the oppressed woman characters, especially on Pilate, his aunt, and other biblically named women. And from the Odyssey for searching his native culture, Morrison reconstructed the meaning of their community and their native culture from the history of women. And in The Joy Luck Club, Tan brought up the matter of generation gap between mothers and daughters to initiate their native Chinese culture. From the differences between them, they didn't understand each other in their ways of living from the cultural differences. Mothers tried and hoped their daughters to live American by the Chinese way of experiences from their tradition. Daughters didn't understand them in the first, but from the process of reflecting and sharing their experiences, they got to know each other’s way of finding the meaning in life, and the native Chinese culture transmitted in some mutual communication to the daughters. In some characteristics, those two novels shared the community spirit and the double consciousness the immigrant women had. In the course of initiating the cultural legacy, however, they had the differences in the way of reconstructing and communicating their native culture. Whatever the differences, however, those two novels had the meaning of finding the community construction from the individual American society, and had the meaning of maintaining the peculiar characteristics of their native culture from the multicultural America.
트렌드와 고장 예측 능력을 반영한 소프트웨어 신뢰도 성장 모델 선택 방법

Software Reliability Growth Models (SRGMs) are used to quantitatively evaluate software reliability and to determine the software release date or additional testing efforts using software failure data. Because a single SRGM is not universally applicable to all kinds of software, the selection of an optimal SRGM suitable to a specific case has been an important issue. The existing methods for SRGM selection assess the goodness-of-fit of the SRGM in terms of the collected failure data but do not consider the accuracy of future failure predictions. In this paper, we propose a method for selecting SRGMs using the trend of failure data and failure prediction ability. To justify our approach, we identify problems associated with the existing SRGM selection methods through experiments and show that our method for selecting SRGMs is superior to the existing methods with respect to the accuracy of future failure prediction.
빅데이터분석기반의 기술주도형 미래 국방무기체계 및 핵심기술 도출 방법연구

Purpose: Recent trends have shown that the usage of big data analysis is becoming the core of identifying promising future technologies and emerging technologies. Accordingly, applying these trends by analyzing defense related data in such sources as journals, articles, and news will provide crucial clues in predicting and identifying core future technologies that can be used to develop creative and unprecedented future weapon systems that could change the warfare. Methods: To identify technology fields that are closely related to the 4th industrial revolution and recent technology development trends, environmental analysis, text mining, and military applicability survey have been included in the process. After the identification of core technologies that are militarily applicable, future weapon systems based on these technologies as well as their operation concepts are suggested. Results: Through the study, 73 important trends, from which 11 mega trends are derived, are identified. These mega trends can be expressed by 13 promising technology fields. From these technology fields, 248 promising future technologies are identified. Afterwards, further assessment is performed, which leads to the selection of 63 core technologies from the pool. These are named as "future defense technologies" which then become the bases for 40 future weapons systems that the military can use. Conclusion: Predicting future technologies using text mining analysis have been attempted by various organizations across the globe, especially in the fields related to the 4th industrial revolution. However, the application of it in the field of defense industry is unprecedented. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it not only enables the military personnel to see promising future technologies that can be utilized for future weapon system development, but helps one to predict the future defense technologies using the method introduced in the paper.

세계 각국에서는 FRP선박의 폐처리 또는 재활용(재자원화)을 위하여 실용성과 안정성을 지니는 많은 기계적 방법에 대한 연구 개발을 진행하여왔다. 그러나 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔음에도 기계적 처리 방법의 두 가지 문제, 즉 파쇄공정 중의 2차 오염 및 재자원화 용도의 한계가 아직도 기계적 재활용의 확대를 어렵게 하고 있다. 실제 폐 FRP선발의 구성을 확인한 후 실질적인 선박의 재활용 기술과 경제적, 친환경적 기술을 통한 폐 FRP 선박의 재처리/재활용기술을 연구한다. Since 1990s, these many researchers have been fully involved in developing recycling methods for FRP boats. There are four basic classes of recycling covered in the literature. the first is "Mechanical recycling" which involves shredding and grinding of the scrap FRP in a new product. Despite of the safety hazards, mechanical recycling is one of the simpler and more technically proven methods. Recent researchers should be more interested in these methods. It is fact that most of FRP wastes are depend려 on incineration or reclamation. Because it is made up of reinforced fiber glass, it is very difficult to break into pieces. By the disposing of waste FRP this way, it also occurs secondary problem such as air pollution and unacceptable noise. This study is to propose a new method which is efficient and environment friendly waste FRP regenerating.
