일반적인 2 계층을 기본으로 하는 데이터베이스 시스템은 병행 클라이언트가 많을 경우 성능면에서 그 한계를 가진다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 사용자들의 자료 이용의 유사성을 이용한 3 계층 데이터베이스 시스템이 제안되었다. 이 시스템에서 클라이언트들은 오프라인 형식의 클러스터들로 나뉘어지며, 가능한 경우 자료객체 요구는 서버와의 상호작용 없이 클러스터 내부에서 처리되게 된다. 이러한 구조는 서버와 클라이언트들 사이에 새로운 계층을 도입함으로써 가능해진다. 이 논문에서는 자료이용 유형이 변화하는 환경에서 클라이언트의 배치문제를 제시하고, 그 해결책으로 온라인 클라이언트 클러스터링을 제안한다. 이 방법은 환경 변화에 적응할 수 있는 시스템 재구성과 클라이언트의 재배치에 대한 필요성을 부각시킨다. 마지막으로 온라인 클라이언트 클러스터링의 유효성을 예시하고, 온라인 시스템의 재구성의 구현 가능성과 기술적 완성도를 검증한다. Conventional two-tier databases have shown performance limitation in the presence of many concurrent clients. To this end, the three-tier architecture that exploits similarities in client's object access behavior has been proposed. In this system, clients are partitioned into clusters, and object requests can be then served in inter-cluster manner. Introducing an intermediate layer between server(s) and clients enables this. In this paper, we introduce the problem of client realignment in which access behavior changes, and propose on-line client clustering. This system facilitates adaptive reconfiguration and redistribution of sites. The core issue in this paper is to demonstrate the effectiveness of on-line client clustering. We experimentally investigate the performance of the scheme and necessary costs.
골프 동작 분석을 위한 동영상 편집시스템 설계 및 구현

It is not easy to analyze dynamic sports motion, but it can be done easily by using an interactive playback of the recorded motion. Everybody is able to capture a golf swing owing to the popularization of PC and digital camcorder in these days. In this study, the system that can provide golf swing analysis is selected and implemented. Furthermore, editing method that can represent motion is applied and moving object tracking algorithm that can make this profess easy is applied to provide easy golf swing analysis. 빠른 변화를 가지는 운동 동작을 분석하는 것은 쉬운 일이 아니다. 그러나 이를 동영상으로 취득하여 동영상 파일을 분석하는 것은 쉬운 일이다. 더욱이 PC의 보급과 디지털 캠코더의 보급으로 동영상 파일의 취득이 용이해 짐에 따라 일반인도 손쉽게 동영상 분석을 할 수 있는 환경을 가지게 죄었다. 본 연구에서는 골프 동작을 동영상 파일에 담아 분석할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고 이를 구현하여 보았다. 또한 영상 흐름을 반영할 수 있는 편집 방식을 개발하고 이동 추적 알고리즘을 사용하여 골프 스윙 분석을 보다 용이하게 개선하였다.

Background: The treatment of choice of gastrointestinal carcinoid tumors has been thought to be radical excision. However, surgical treatment has been substituted by endoscopic treatment in cases of small gastrointestinal carcinoid tumors. We evaluated the effectiveness of endoscopic treatment for gastrointestinal carcinoid tumors. Methods: We reviewed the medical records and endoscopic findings of 50 cases of gastrointestinal carcinoid tumors diagnosed in St. Mary`s Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, and Uijeongbu St. Mary`s Hospital, all affiliated organizations of the Catholic University Medical Center of Korea, from January 2001 to December 2006. Results: The mean age of the patients was 52.6±13.6 years-old. The mean tumor size was 10.1±5.6 mm. Thirty-eight cases were treated by endoscopy (mean tumor size: 8.6±4.5 mm), eleven cases were treated by surgery (mean tumor size: 13.5±6.1 mm), and one case with multiple metastases was untreatable by either endoscopy or surgery. Twenty five cases of endoscopic therapy were treated by endoscopic mucosal resection or endoscopic submucosal dissection. Thirteen cases were resected by use of a conventional polypectomy. Two cases of the conventional polypectomy were resected incompletely, and were treated with an additional endoscopy. No cases of endoscopic treatment have recurred during the follow-up period. Conclusions: Recently, the incidence of carcinoid tumors is on the increase in the gastrointestinal tract, as determined by performing frequent endoscopic examinations in Korea. If the gastrointestinal carcinoid tumor is limited to the submucosal layer, endoscopic treatment could be sufficient as the primary treatment in selected patients with a tumor diameter of 10 mm or less in the duodenum and 15 mm or less in the stomach and rectum.(Korean J Med 73:274-282, 2007)

TTCN(Tree and Tabular Combined Notation), as an international standard, provides a concept and notation to describe a protocol test specification. In this paper, we explain some considerations on each components of Abstract Test Suite and propose naming conventions for Constraints and Test Cases based on the experience of describing Test Suite and propose naming conventions for Constraints and Test Cases based on the experience of describing Test suite for real protocol. We also analyze some problems on real application of Test Suite and propose an approach to avoiding such problems in the stage of Test Suite specification. In this paper, we use the SSCOP(Service Specific Connection Oriented Protocol) protocol, that is a sub-layer of ATM Forum UNI 3.1 protocol stack, as an example to proposals on naming conventions of Constraints and Test Cases.

Isolated word recognition using the Dynamic Time Warping algorithm has shown good recognition rate on speaker dependent environment. But, practically, since the searching time of the Dynamic Time Warping algorithm is rapidly increased as searching data is increased, it is hard to implement. In the context-dependent-short-query system such as educational children's workbook on the Web, the number of responses to the specific questions is limited. Therefore, the searching space for the answers can be reduced depending on the questions. In this paper, low cost implementation method using DTW for the Web has been proposed. To cover the weakness of DTW, the searching space is reduced by the context. The searching space, depends on the specific questions, is chosen from interest searchable candidates. In the real implementation, the proposed method show better performance of both time and recognition rate.
