        단파장 자외선(254nm)에 노출된 고밀도 폴리에틸렌 수지의 카르보닐 지수(CI)와 기계적 물성 변화의 관계에 관한 연구

        This paper studied the possibility to predict a mechanical property variation from changes in created carbonyl bands by irradiating the surface of high-density polyethylene with short-wavelength ultraviolet radiation of 254nm to induce a fast chemical degradation. The meaning of this study lies in checking whether a mechanical property change with the same chemical property as the induced optical deterioration is caused by using a UVC lamp with high photon energy instead of optical deterioration via xenon arc light source and outdoor exposure test via natural sunlight requiring a long time. The mechanical strength of high-density polyethylene checked by a tensile test and a creep destruction test showed a similar tendency with CI changes. In particular, the yield strength and elongation had a close relationship with the exposure time to ultraviolet radiation. Accordingly, this paper presented a method to grasp the mechanical property change outdoors requiring a long time more fast through the relationship between the mechanical property change and the carbonyl index using a UVC lamp causing the fast surface degradation.

        Paranasal sinusitis is a common disease in the otorhinolaryngology area. It is the change of inflammation at the mucous membrane which surrounds paranasal sinus. Chronic paranasal sinusitis is a chronic inflammation disease with purulent, mucous rhinorrhea, postnasal drip and cough. The attacked period continues above three months and it repeats exacerbation and remission. We diagnosed and treated an outpatient who complains postnasal drip of chronic paranasal drip of chronic paranasal sinusitis based on the Oriental medical theories and had good result.

        안면신경마비에 대한 안륜근 미소안면침 증례보고

        Objective : This study was designed to evaluate the effect of Miso Facial Acupuncture on Orbicularis Oculi muscle. Methods : Two men and four women with Facial nerve palsy were recruited. Miso Facial Acupuncture on Orbicularis Oculi muscle was performed two times a week for three weeks. The effects of the treatment were evaluated by H-B scale, Y-system and clinical symptom. Results : Before treatment with Miso Facial Acupuncture, three patients showed H-B scale improvement and the other three patients had no change. and four patients showed Y-system improvement and the other two patients had no change. In six cases, the patients had improvement in clinical symptom related with Orbicularis Oculi muscle function. Conclusion : Miso Facial Acupuncture on Orbicularis Oculi muscle showed significant improvement in facial nerve palsy.

        동해 울릉분지 북동부지역의 지구물리학적 특성 및 지구조 연구

        The geophysical characteristics and geological structure of the northeastern part of the Ulleung Basin were investigated from interpretation of geophysical data including gravity, magnetic, bathymetry data, and seismic data. Relative correction was applied to reduce errors between sets of gravity and magnetic data, obtained at different times and by different equipments. The northeastern margin of the Ulleung Basin is characterized by complicated morphology consisting of volcanic islands (Ulleungdo and Dokdo), the Dokdo seamounts, and a deep pathway (Korea Gap) with the maximum depth of -2500 m. Free-air anomalies generally reflect the topography effect. There are high anomalies over the volcanic islands and the Dokdo seamounts. Except local anomalous zones of volcanic edifices, the gradual increasing of the Bouguer anomalies from the Oki Bank toward the Ulleung Basin and the Korea Gap is related to higher mantle level and denser crust in the central of the Ulleung Basin. Complicated magnetic anomalies in the study area occur over volcanic islands and seamounts. The power spectrum analysis of the Bouguer anomalies indicates that the depth to the averaged Moho discontinuity is -16.1 km. The inversion of the Bouguer anomaly shows that the Moho depth under the Korea Gap is about -16~17 km and the Moho depths towards the Oki Bank and the northwestern part of Ulleung Island are gradually deeper. The inversion result suggests that the crust of the Ulleung Basin is thicker than normal oceanic crusts. The result of 20 gravity modeling is in good agreement with the results of the power spectrum analysis and the inversion of the Bouguer anomaly. Except the volcanic edifices, the main pattern of magnetization distribution shows lineation in NE-SW. The inversion results, the 2D gravity modeling, and the magnetization distribution support possible NE-SW spreading of the Ulleung Basin proposed by other papers.

        龍膽瀉肝湯加減方의 止血效果에 關한 實驗的 硏究

        Based upon our laboratory experiments of Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix and Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix added Biotac Cacumen, Imperatae Rhizoma, Typhae Pollen on male rats to examine the medicines' hemostatic effect, we draw conclusions as follows: 1. Compared to the control group, Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix and Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix added Biotae Cacumen, Imperatae Rhizoma, Typhae Pollen increased the number of platelet counts meaningfully. 2. Compared to the control group, Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix and Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix added Biotae Cacumen, Imperatae Rhizoma, Typhae Pollen suppressed prothrombin time without any meaning. 3. Compared to the control group, Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix and Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix added Biotae Cacumen, Imperatae Rhizoma, Typhae Pollen, all of these medicines elevated the fibrinogen level, but only Yongdamsagantang subtracte Bupleuri Radix is recognized to raise the fibrinogen level meaningfully. 4. Compared to the control group, Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix and Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix added Biotae Cacumen. Imperatae Rhizoma, Typhae Pollen repressed partial thromboplastin time meaningfully. In conclusion, Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix and Yongdamsagantang subtracted Bupleuri Radix added Biotae Cacumen, Imperatae Rhizoma, Typhae Pollen can be used for stopping blood effectively in terms of platelet count increase, prothrombin time control, fibrinogen level rise, and partial thromboplastin time suppression.

        독도 화산체 정상부해역의 정밀해저지형 및 지구물리학적 특성 연구

        We studied the detailed bathymetry and the geophysical characteristics of the summit of the Dokdo volcano using mutibeam echosounding and geophysical survey data. The bathymetry around the main east and west islets of the Dokdo volcano shows very shallow within about 10 m water depth. From near islets to about 30 m b.s.l., the shallow water area has very steep slope and many irregular sunken rocks. The area from about 30 m to about 80 m b.s.l. shows gentle rises and falls, and less steep slope. The area from 80 m b.s.l. has gradually flat undulation and smooth slope seabaed and is extended to offshore. The main islets of the Dokdo volcano and the rocky sea bottom elongated from the islets might be the residual part of the eroded and collapsed main crater of the Dokdo volcano. The bathymetry and the seafloor image(from backscattering) data show small craters, assumed to be formed by the eruption of later volcanism. The seafloor images propose that, except some areas with shallow sand sedimentary deposits, there are typical rocky bottom such as rocky protrusions and lack of sediments in the main morphology of the survey area. The stepped slopes of the seabed are deduced to be submarine terraces. The several prominent submarine terraces are found at the summit of the Dokdo volcano, suggesting repetition of sea level changes(transgressions and regressions) in the Quaternary. The results of the magnetic anomaly and the analytic signal have a good coherence with other geophysical consequences regarding to the location of the residual crater.

        Antitumor effects of recombinant human interferon α-2a and hydroxyurea against chronic myelogenous leukemia

        Prior to a clinical trial, the in vitro and in vivo antitumor effects of a new recombinant human interferon ${\alpha}-2a$ (rHu/IFN ${\alpha}-2a$) with/without hydroxyurea (HU) were investigated using chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML)-derived cell lines (K562 and KU812F) and BALB/c nude. mice transplanted with KU812F cells. The rHu/IFN ${\alpha}-2a$ ($10^4-10^6IU/ml$) strongly inhibited proliferation of both cell lines and the combined treatments with HU ($10{\mu}g/ml$) were more effective. In nude mice transplanted with KU812F cells. rHu/IFN ${\alpha}-2a(1{\times}10^6IU$) inhibited tumor growth by 42-65% at 15-21 days post-transplantation (DPT). The combined treatment of rHu/IFN ${\alpha}-2a (5{\times}10^5IU$) with HU (0.25mg/g b.w.) inhibited the tumor growth by 48-67% at 12-21 DPT. In addition, the treatment of rHu/IFN ${\alpha}-2a$ ($5{\times}10^6IU\;or\;1{\times}10^7IU$) rejected tumor transplantation by 40%. These results suggest that the new rHU/IFN ${\alpha}-2a$ alone or with HU is effective on CML cell lines.

        AC 서보모터에 대한 견실한 외란억제 제어

        In this paper, we propose a robust control scheme of AC servo motors to suppress disturbance torques effectively. The proposed controller consists of both a model based feed-forward controller and a stabilizing feedback controller. The feed-forward controller is designed such that the output of the nominal plant tracks perfectly the reference velocity command with desired dynamic characteristics. The feedback controller stabilizes the overall closed loop system. Furthermore, the feedback controller contains a free function that can be chosen arbitrarily. The free function can be designed so as to achieve both suppression of disturbances and robustness to model uncertainties. In order to illuminate the superior performance of the proposed control scheme to the conventional ones, we present some simulation results.

        중력 및 자력자료 분석에 의한 울릉분지 북동부 독도 및 주변 해산들의 형성 연구

        중력자료 및 자력자료를 이용하여 독도해산들의 지각평형 탄성판모델 및 VGP(Virtual Geomagnetic Pole)를 분석하여 해산들의 형성시기와 형성환경을 연구하였다. 후리에어중력이상은 독도와 이사부해산 최고치 사이에 약 50 mGal의 차이를 보이는데 이 두 화산체는 규모면에서 비슷하지만 후리에어중력이상에서 차이가 나는 것은 보상정도의 차이에 기인한다. 탄성판모델의 적용 결과는 해산 하부 지각의 강도(탄성두께)가 이사부해산에서 독도로 갈수록 강해짐(두꺼워짐)을 지시한다. 즉, 이사부해산이 생성될 당시의 해산 하부 지각의 연령이 가장 젊었고 독도가 생성될 때 하부 지각이 가장 오래 되었다는 것을 나타낸다. 자기이상은 독도해산들을 중심으로 복잡하게 나타난다. 고지자기 특성을 연구하기 위하여 자기 이상을 1500m 상향연속한 후 최소자승자화법 및 반놈자화법을 함께 이용하여 각 독도해산들의 VGP를 구하였다. 기존 독도암석의 연대측정, 탄성판 모델 및 VGP결과를 지자기 연대표와 비교하여 보면 울릉분지의 열개 종료 후에 이사부해산이 정자기극 시대에 가장 먼저 생성되었고 독도은 가장 후기에 생성되었으며 정자기극 시대에 첫 번째 대규모 분출이 있었고 그 후 역자기극 시대에 두 번째 대규모의 분출로 인하여 이루어졌을 것으로 생각된다. 심흥택 해산은 독도와 이사부해산의 생성시기 사이의 정자기극 시대에 형성되었을 것으로 사료된다. 이 해산들의 생성 시기는 동해 생성 후 압축응력이 작용하던 시기와 일치하며 이 압축력 시기의 화산활동에 의해 해산들이 생성되었을 가능성이 높은 것으로 판단된다.

        전라북도 장안산 삼림식생의 종다양성

        전라북도 장안산의 72군락 지점에서 식물사회학적 조사에 의하여 구분된 10개 군락. 즉 신갈나무 군락, 신갈나무-철쭉꽃 군락, 신갈나무-노린재나무 군락, 신갈나무-졸참나무 군락, 졸참나무 군락, 굴참나무 군락, 서어나무 군락, 물푸레나무 군락, 층층나무 군락, 들메나무 군락에서 풍부도지수, 이질성지수, 균등도지수, 우점도지수를 산출하여 고도, 토양 특성 및 우점종군에 따른 종다양성의 변활르 분석하였으며 종서열-중요치 곡선을 이용하여 각 식물의 우점서열을 결정하고 각 종이 식물군락 내의 자원을 어떻게 분배하고 있는가를 결정하였다 고도, 토양요인(pH, base) 및 우점종의 차이는 삼림의 종 다양성에 영향을 미치는 중요한 변수로서 작용하였으며 우점종군에 따른 다양성의 변화는 지형과 교란에 의하여 영향을 받았다 종서열-중요치 곡선에서 조사된 10개 군락은 대수정규분포에 접근하고 있어서 군락간 약간의 차이는 있지만 대체적으로 어떤 특정 종이 군집 내 자원 공간을 독점하지 않고 적절히 분배하여 사용하고 있었다.
