A plant factory forms a closed ecosystem unaffected by external weather and can control environmental variables (temperature, relative humidity, light, etc.). Currently, plant factories equipped with artificial lighting are in the limelight as a means of sustainable agricultural development. However, the efficient irrigation method for seedling production needs to be improved in a closed-type cultivation system. A study was conducted to reveal the appropriate irrigation regime through a comparison of the growth of the seedlings and the water use efficiency when scions and rootstocks of tomato and hot pepper are cultivated in the plant factory with artificial lighting. Water treatment was set to 100% of the moisture content level of the plug trays weight when each trays topsoil was sufficiently wet, and irrigation was performed when the water content level reached 80%, 70%, 60%, and 50%. The dry matter production of tomato scions was the highest in the 70% treatment, and rootstocks were the highest in the 50% treatment. However, the water use efficiency of tomato scions and rootstocks was the highest in the 70% and 50% treatments, respectively. The dry matter production of hot pepper scions was the highest in the 50% and 70% treatments, and hot pepper rootstocks were the highest in the 80% treatment. The water use efficiency of hot pepper scions and rootstocks was the highest in the 50% treatment. This study confirmed that the seedling growth and water use efficiency were significantly affected by different irrigation regimes during the raising seedling period of tomatoes and hot peppers in the plant factory with artificial lighting. It is expected to reduce waste of water resources through proper irrigation.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and select learning activities for developing creative problem solving based workbook of technology education. To accomplish this purpose several workbook as Tech Know , I 3 (Invention-Innovation-Inquiry) , Engineering by Design , Create! and Junior Invention Leader and web site were investigated through the analysis form and screening matrix. Through this study 198 learning activities were analyzed and 48 learning activities were selected as A grade. 1) In manufacturing technology domain 11 learning activities were selected among 48 learning activities. 2) In construction technology domain 10 learning activities were selected among 59 learning activities. 3) In information and communication technology domain 11 learning activities were selected among 39 learning activities. 4) In energy and transportation technology domain 10 learning activities were selected among 31 learning activities. 5) In biotechnology domain 6 learning activities were selected among 21 learning activities.

The purpose of this study was to develop invention education program for creative problem solving skill of elementary school students. This study was carried out through literature review & analysis of materials related to invention, innovation, creativity & technology of text, a quality evaluation of panel, a quality experimental research, and a survey research. The results of this study were as follow: 1) Content validity and effectiveness of invention education program that was developed in this study were identified. 2) There were some problem such as difficulty of term & content, lack of time to perform, and lack of systematic manage of program. 3) Researchers modified & completed these problems and suggested the need of program for instructors.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the educational needs in contents for invention education of students in practical arts and technology education department of teacher s college. The questionnaires were collected 239. This study used the SPSS program to analyze the data. The results of this study were as follows. 1. There is no significant difference of importance perceived among teacher s college students. 2. Technology education students, male students, the students who are invention education experience, the students who are invention conference experience were higher level perceived of attainment. 3. Educational needs on invention practice was the highest of invention contents field. And educational need on invention inquiry learning method was the highest of subfactors of invention pedagogy. Also, educational needs on the divergent techniques for an idea creation was the highest of subfactors of invention contents. For the further study, qualitative study based on invention education program and various study for teacher s college students among others universities should be conducted.

The purpose of the study was to develop education program for the junior invention leader and to analyze the effect it. It was proved by experimental study on technological problem solving styles, invention attitudes and learning satisfaction of the elementary and middle school student. The method of study was experimental study and reviews. Two experimental designs were applied for this study. The conclusions of experimental study were as follows: 1. The middle school students were effective on technological problem solving styles and invention attitudes after developed education program activity for invention. 2. In comparing with the post-test experimental groups, technological problem solving styles of developed education program activity for invention in middle school students were higher than the pre-program. And education program for invention was developed the latest workbook, handbook, teacher s manual. The developed products of the study were as follows. 1. Workbook - Basic course (for elementary school students) - Intermediate course (for middle school students) - Advanced course (for high school students) 2. Handbook - Integrated book of the basic, intermediate and advanced handbook 3. Teacher s manual - Basic course (for elementary school students) 4. Teacher s manual - Intermediate course (for middle school students) 5. Teacher s manual - Advanced course (for high school students) Finally, the elementary, middle and high school student will have interest and ability about invention education of in junior invention education program. Also, this study will make efficient use of model in the school.
