        인천의 洞祭 연구

        The title each community used for communal ritual in the Inchon area came from the “Dangje” lineage as many areas performed “Dodang-Kut” and this rite influenced such. Classification of “Dongje” in Inchon areas can be made in largely two forms. One form is the ritual performance conducted by an invited exorcist, and the other is the confucius ritual performance managed by a priest selected by villagers. No exorcist is involved for this type ritual. Some villages are using simpled forms of “Dangkut” to perform ritual against others who completely have changed to confucius rites. At the “Dong-Je” in Inchon people ministered Mountain God, the Grandfather of Dang or the Grandmother of Dang as their guardian deity. The Dongje in the Inchon area too shows much of changes in the form according to each region. We find complete disappearance of Dongje in many areas. Surprisingly, the disappearance of the Dongje took place in the villages of the Islands before the areas on the mainland. If an altar were to be included as a basic element of Dang, forms of Jedang can be found as 8 kinds in the Inchon area, and many seem to be of wooden form. For most regions, Dongje was held once a year. The time of Dongje for islanders is new year rites or spring rites which is held in January or February, and other areas where farming is the main livelihood on the land areas, villagers ministered thanksgiving rites in July or October. Some kinds facts served to make fast disappearance of Dongje or, at least, changes in its formation.

        상압과 가압조건에서 제조한 소뼈 용출액의 이화학 및 관능 특성

        본 연구는 상압과 가압방식으로 제조한 소뼈 용출액의 이화학 및 관능 특성을 고찰하기 위하여 일반성분, 콜라겐 유래 단백질, 콘드로이틴 황산, 유리 아미노산, 무기질 함량 및 색도를 비교하였다. 가공방식에 따른 소뼈 용출액의 고형분, 조단백, 조회분은 가열시간이 증가할수록 그 함량이 높았고, 동일 시간 동안 가열 하였을 때 상압방식 용출액보다 가압방식 용출액에 더 많이 함유되어있었다. 콜라겐 유래 단백질은 상압방식 용출액보다 가압방식 용출액에 더 많이 함유되어 있었다. 상압방식 용출액의 경우 콜라겐 유래 단백질 함량은 4시간 이상 가열할 때 증가하여 12시간 가열할 때 가장 높았고, 가압방식 용출액의 경우는 가열시간이 증가할수록 콜라겐 유래 단백질 함량이 증가하여 6시간 이상 가열했을 때는 유의적 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 콘드로이틴 황산은 동일 시간을 가열하였을 때 상압방식 용출액보다 가압방식 용출액에 유의적으로 더 많이 함유되어 있었다(p<0.05). 동일시간 동안 가열하였을 때 칼슘과 마그네슘은 상압방식 용출액에 유의적으로 더 많이 함유되어 있었고, 인, 소듐, 포타슘은 가압방식 용출액에서 더 많았다(p<0.05). 상압방식 용출액이 가압방식용출액보다 L<SUP>*</SUP> 값이 유의적으로 높았고(p<0.05), a<SUP>*</SUP> 값과 b<SUP>*</SUP> 값은 전반적으로 가압방식 용출액이 높았다. 상압방식 용출액은 가열시간이 증가할수록 탁도가 높았지만, 가압방식 용출액은 가열시간에 따른 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았으며(p>0.05), 전반적으로 상압방식 용출액이 가압방식 용출액보다 탁도가 높았다. 관능적으로는 가압방식 용출액이 상압방식 용출액보다 갈색도, 투명도, 소 비린내, 소 비린 맛, 유황 냄새가 강하였는데, 이러한 특성은 가열시간이 증가할수록 더 강했다. 따라서 본 연구를 통하여 영양학적인 측면에서는 가압방식으로 제조한 소뼈 용출액이 우수하였지만, 관능적 측면에서는 전통적인 상압방식으로 제조하는 방법이 좋았다고 판단한다. This study was conducted to compare the physicochemical and sensory characteristics of beef-bone broths prepared under atmospheric pressure (BBAP) and overpressure (BBOP). Beef-bone was boiled in water (bone/water=1:2, w/w) for 1, 2, 4, 6, and 12 h under atmospheric pressure and overpressure (121℃, 1.25 atm). The BBOP broth samples were found to contain significantly higher amounts of solid, crude protein, crude ash, collagen, and chondroitin sulfate than the BBAP broth samples for a given boiling time (p<0.05). In addition, the Ca and Mg contents in the BBAP samples were higher than those in the BBOP samples, whereas the P, Na, and K contents were higher in BBOP than BBAP. The L value of BBAP was also significantly higher than that of BBOP (p<0.05). Further, as the boiling time increased, turbidity increased in the BBAP samples. In the quantitative descriptive analysis, the BBOP samples exhibited stronger brownness, transparency, meaty off-odor, meaty off-flavor, and sulfuric odor than the BBAP samples.

        일본뇌염백신 CJ-50003의 일반약리작용

        To develop the second generation Japanese encephalitis (JE) vaccine, an attenuated JE vaccine virus strain SA14-14-2 (PDK) was adapted to Vero cell. The resulting virus SA14-14-2 (Vero) was purified using sucrose density gradient, inactivated with formalin and mixed with alum hydroxide to prepare the test vaccine named CJ-50003. The general pharmacological properties of CJ-50003 were evaluated in mice, rats, dogs and isolated guinea pig ileum. The doses were 0.16~ 16 ㎍/kg i.m. for mice and rats and 0.48-1.6 ㎍/kg i.v. for dogs. The concentration of 0.0016-0.16 mg/ml were used for the assay with guinea pig ileum. lntramuscular administration of CJ-50003 at the doses did not alter general behavior and the responses for central nervous system, smooth muscles, gastrointestinal system, cardiovascular and respiratory system and water and electrolytes excretion. In summary, CJ-50003 had no pharmacological effect in these studies even up to the 100-fold of the expected clinical dose, 5 ㎍/man/30 kg.

        구제역 바이러스 혈청형 A와 O 에피토프 재조합단백질 백신의 구제역 방어 효능

        Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) is a highly contagious viral disease susceptible to cloven- hoofed animals such as cattle, pig and goat, consequently exerting a bad influence on the livestock industry. Although various FMD vaccines have been developed for several decades, the efficacy of current FMD vaccines is restrictive because of the FMD virus (FMDV) diversity. The aim of this study was to determine whether the FMD virus (FMDV) serotype A and O epitope recombinant protein vaccine shows protective effects in a FMD animal model using pigs. To manufacture the recombinant protein vaccine, three or six replicates of VP1 epitopes of A/Pocheon/SKR/2010 and O/Andong/SKR/2010 FMDV strains were used and coupled with a swine immunoglobulin G heavy-chain constant region. Pigs were vaccinated twice (interval of 4 weeks) intramuscularly and examined the serum titers of FMDV specific antibody and neutralization antibody. After FMDV challenge, the gross lesions and clinical signs in FMD were assessed, and the viremia was measured by RTPCR assay using oral swabs. In the field experiment using pigs, FMDV-specific antibodies were markedly induced in the sera of FMD vaccine-immunized pigs. In addition, produced antibodies dramatically inhibited FMDV in vitro. Moreover, from challenge test in pigs to test the potency of FMD vaccine, at least more than 93% of vaccinated pigs were clearly protected from FMD. Taken together, these results strongly demonstrate that FMDV bivalent epitope-constituted recombinant protein vaccine shows obviously protective effects against two different serotypes (A, O) of FMDV.
