본 연구는 상류측에 작은 정삼각주를 가진 원주의 유동장 특성을 양 항력측정 실험과 PIV를 이용한 가시화 실험으로 파악한 것이다. 실험 파라메터는 원주의 직경에 대한 정삼각주의 폭비(H/B=0.2~0.6) 및 원주의 전면에서부터 정삼각주까지의 거리 (G/B=0~3) 로 했다. 정삼각주의 폭비를 고정시킨 경우 원주의 항력감소율은 간격비가 증가할수록 증가하다 감소하는 특성을 보였다. 또한 같은 간격비에서는 정삼각주의 폭비가 클수록 원주의 항력감소율이 컸다. 원주의 Strouhal 수는 간격비가 증가할수록 증가하다 감소하는 특성을 보였다. 정삼각주을 설치한 경우 원주 상류측과 하류측에 정체영역이 나타났으며, 그 크기는 상류측은 삼각주의 폭비가 클수록 증가하는데 비해, 하류측은 거의 일정했다. In this study, we investigate the Characteristics of the flowfields of a circular cylinder having a small triangular prism at the upstream side. We measure the fluid force on the circular cylinder and obtain a visualization of the flow fields using particle image velocimetry (PIV). The experimental parameters employed were the width ratios (H/B = 0.2~0.6) of the triangular prisms to the circular cylinder"s diameter, and the gap ratios (G/B = 0~3) between the circular cylinder and the triangular prism. We observed that the drag reduction rate and Strouhal number of the circular cylinder increased and then decreased with G/B in the case of the same H/B. The drag reduction rate increased with H/B in the case of the same G/B. In the case where the circular cylinder had a small triangular prism, the stagnation regions were represented in the upstream and downstream sides of the circular cylinder.

본 논문의 목적은 계장화 압입시험과 유한요소해석을 이용하여 아연도금강판의 기계적 물성을 추정하는 것이다. 먼저 인장시험을 통하여 유한요소해석에 요구되는 두께에 따른 아연도금강판의 기계적 물성을 획득하였으며, 이를 이용하여 유한요소해석을 수행하여 특정지점에서의 소성 응력 및 변형률을 획득하였다. 이러한 유한요소해석의 유효성은 계장화 압입시험의 하중-변위선도와 비교를 통하여 검토하였다. 유한요소해석을 통하여 구한 진응력-진변형률 곡선을 인장시험 결과와 비교하여 이의 정확성을 검증하였으며 또한 이를 바탕으로 대표 응력 및 변형률 산출지점을 재평가하였다. First, tensile tests were conducted to obtain the true stress-true strain curves of galvanized steel sheets with various thicknesses. Load-deformation curves were then obtained by using the instrumented indentation testing machine, and they were compared with load-deformation curves obtained by finite element analysis. Further, true stress-true strain curves were obtained at the optimal observation point by finite element analysis.

The paper deals with the estimation of mechanical properties of various galvanized steel sheets which are utilized in automobile body, using the instrumented indentation technique and the finite element analysis. For this firstly, the tensile tests were conducted to obtain the true stress-true strain curves of galvanized steel sheets with various thickness. And the load-deformation curves were measured using the instrumented indentation testing machine and these results were compared with the analyzed load-deformation curve from finite element analysis. Also, true stress-true strain curves were obtained at the optimal observation point from finite element analysis.

This paper deals with application of instrumented indentation technique for quality inspection methodology for automobile component. For this, the instrumented indentation tests were performed the normal and cracked compressor journal, which is made from spheroidal graphite cast iron and utilized in air-conditioning system. And the Brinell hardness was estimated using the unloading slope and maximum indentation force. With the aid of Normal distribution, this Brinell hardness was statistically compared and analyzed with hardness measured by indentation hardness tests. Also, application possibility of reliability-based quality inspection criteria for compressor journal was evaluated through the probabilistic analysis for the Brinell hardness estimated by instrumented indentation technique.

Alveolar ridge defects in the maxillary anterior portion resulted from extraction clue to mainly chronic periodontitis or trauma have required either removable restorations(to replace the tremendous amount of soft tissue loss) or modification of the pontic design. Both solutions leave a compromised esthetic result. Therefore, to achieve dental restoration in these cases, augmentation of the alveolar ridge must be performed. Altermatively, methods, that assure the preservation of the ridge following tooth extraction could prevent the need for alveolar augmentation. We present a clinical case treated with alveolar ridge preservation using guided bone regeneration technique following extraction of maxillary anterior tooth.
