In order to study the effect of K-WAIS and FTD on flight aptitude, which we utilize to sort out good pilot candidates among applicants, we adopted Fuzzy regression model and expressed the result of flight aptitude tests in Fuzzy number by using maximum/minimum values and mean values. The 7 aspects of K-WAIS were broken down into three similar groups: mathematical ability, visualization ability and organization ability. While mathematical ability and organization ability showed a positive relevance with the FTD test with respect to flight aptitude, visualization ability of K-WAIS showed a negative(-) relevance with flight aptitude, which presented an opposite result to the previous research. Thus, we are to increase the number of samples and do the research thereof in the near future.
국내 회전익 항공기 사고율 분석 및 사고의 잠재적 조건에 관한 연구

There were a total of 65 accidents of helicopers between 1990 and 2013. The overall accidents rate has remained around 8 accidents per 100,000 flight hours, and the fatal rate has stayed at about 8 accidents per 100,000 flight hours. In this study, we conduct a series of statistical analyses to investigate the significance of latent failure of groups that operate the helicopter. Analysis of variance demonstrated significant differences in the latent condition score for the 3 groups, with the lower accidents rate groups reporting better scores of latent condition. Results indicated that there are the significant differences of latent condition in accidents between groups of high accidents rate and groups of low accidents rate.
지구과학 학습을 위한 멀티미디어 학습 자료 데이터베이스 개발

본 연구에서는 중학교 및 고등학교의 지구과학 내용에 대한 멀티미디어 학습 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 학습프로그램은 HTML 형식이며 텍스트, 사진, 그림, 동영상 등 다양한 내용물들로 구성되어 있다. 그리고 크게 학습 내용, 용어사전, 생활 과학, 탐구 활동, 영상 자료, 형성 평가 등 6가지 데이터베이스 요소들로 구성되어 있다. 본 연구에서 개발된 멀티미디어 학습 프로그램을 교사와 학생들에게 적용해본 결과 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 이 프로그램은 현재 공주대학교 과학교육연구소 인터넷 흠페이지에서 무료로 제공하고 있다. This study is aimed at the development of multimedia learning program for earth science in the middle and high school. This program was made of HTML format and includes a variety of texts, graphs, pictures, drawings, animations, and moving image materials. And it was composed of six database elements(learning context, terminology dictionary, practical science, inquiry actvity, image material, and test item). The results of applying this program to students and teachers gave affirmative answers. The program is being offered on an internet website under Institute of Science Education of Kongju National University.

The stalling speed flight test of light airplane, ChangGong-91, was performed to acquire the certification. With power-off engine condition, the wings level stall flight tests were conducted at the aircraft configuration of various flap angle-clean, 20degree, and full flap, respectively. They were performed considering with the combination of the maximum and minimum test weight, and forward and afterward center of gravity. The stalling speeds and the minimum speeds of light airplane were determined from the results of flight test. Also, the appropriateness of stall warning speeds are evaluated through the flight test measures. The airplane is recoverable only with pitch control and engine throttle from stall state without exceptional operation.

Pilots of large airplanes have to land their airplanes with insufficient visual information because of high approach speed, high vertical velocity and high location or altitude of the cockpits from the runway intending to touch down. This study verifies that, due to the insufficient information, large airplane pilots can`t exactly perceive height of their airplanes during the flare. Study 1 explored whether it`s possible for the pilots to accurately perceive height with the static visual cues only. We showed them pictures of the runway taken from the pilot`s pionts of view and asked them to assess the height of the airplanes. They determined exact height of the airplanes at the height of 85 feet, but they could not, at lower than 55 feet which is the flare preparation altitude. Study 2 explored whether it`s possible for the pilots to accurately perceive height when dynamic cues were added to the static visual cues. We showed them videos of the runway taken from the pilot`s pionts of view. With more cues they determined exact height of the airplanes at the height of 50 feet, but they could not, at the altitude of lower than 30 feet which is the flare altitude. As experience is believed to be a major factor which affects interpretation of the visual cues, we compared the accuracy of the assessment of the experienced captions and that of the in-experienced first officers. We found there was no significant difference between them.

Rotorcraft operating in the domestic aviation safety techniques are applied CRM training is conducted but, aircraft accidents caused by human factors has not shown a declining trend. Thus, knowledge of aviation safety and human factors for the spread of awareness of improved rotorcraft flight operations department managers to understand the complexity of nature and culture, and to perform high-risk mission helicopter pilot study of local activation and enhance safety awareness research was conducted in order to. In this study, the development direction of CRM training studies in order to identify the leading NOTECHS (Non-Technical Skills; non-technical pilot skills) of the four categories as the independent variable and the dependent variable corresponding to the resulting effect on the key variables awareness of the differences were studied. In addition, the direction and strength of the relationship were analyzed to determine the relationship of each independent variable to assess the impact on the dependent variable regression analysis was performed. Pilot training and evaluation of non-technical skills related to the teaching reflected in the CRM training and assessment must be carried out with 5 star rating scale was preferred. Therefore, to meet our country rotorcraft operating environment ``NOTECHS`` aviation safety by developing training programs reflected in the educational process, implementation, and periodic training and assessment is done in future research on this analysis and feedback is done to reflect the specific performance expect.
운항승무원 실수 특성에 관한 연구: LOSA를 중심으로

LOSA is a flight safety program that analyses human errors in normal operations. Trained pilot observers monitor the normal flights at the observer seat. LOSA is a proactive non jeopardy data collection tool using threat and error management(TEM) as a framework. With the analysis of crew behaviors through LOSA with The LOSA collaborative(TLC), the airlines can identify the behaviors of the crew during normal operations. The major objective of LOSA is to measure how the crew manage threats, errors and undesired aircraft deviations in the cockpit on day to day operations. The airlines are able to set up effective TEM training with practical six generation Crew recourse management(CRM) with data of error from LOSA instead of theoretical CRM courses. The Airlines can use TEM as an integral part of a Safety Management System(SMS) and uses monitoring and cross-checking skills in the flight operations to manage threats and errors effectively when we know the errors we make in the cockpit on daily operation . The result of LOSA indicates that the error detection rate should be enhanced since around the half of the errors went undetected. The areas which should be focused for enhancing the error detection are monitor, cross-check, the management of workload, automation and taxiway/ runway to manage errors effectively.
