공기조화기의 BIM 라이브러리 생성 자동화 프로세스에 관한 연구

BIM(Building Information Modeling) based design process can initiatively conduct a task through all phases from early design step to construction and maintenance step. Also BIM efficiently manage the building"s energy by reflecting 3D design and construction life cycle. This paper proposes an efficient process to build AHU’s BIM-based library. This study involves analyzing an AHU model for development of design module, and making the template model using the same 12 parts including the shapes of ducts, doors and frames. In consideration of each shape’s direction and the status of existence, which are detailed shapes of parts upon making the template model, all the shapes of the AHU model can be expressed. By applying parametric modeling to the template model, a quick and precise modification and transformation can be conducted, thus the efficiency is enhanced. A user selects an AHU model from a 2D model selection program, and extracts shape information. The final AHU shape is completed through the automation work of unnecessary shape deletion by bringing the extracted shape information to the template model. This enables the user to build efficient AHU’s BIM-based library, since the quick and precise modification and transformation of the template model are possibile, and all AHU model shapes can be expressed.

The swept volume, the region of a moving object, is applied in many fields such as valid paths for motions of tools, visualization in robot paths and interference tests for parts assembling or disjointing. The shape of a swept volume depends on an generators computed with normal vectors of an object and velocity vectors of a motion. Although free-from surfaces are widely used to represent geometric models in CAD, computing the generators for a free-form object is a formidable task. Previous approaches exploit the closed form expressions of generators but limited to planer or quadric faces. In this paper, we propose the algorithm to compute swept volumes generated by free-form objects in screw motions. For the algorithm a tracing method is applied to the computation of generators. It considers curvatures of surfaces of an object to increase the computational accuracy. We implemented our algorithm in the CATIA V.5 environment to test the validity of our algorithm and to generate examples.

경량 CAE 포맷을 이용한 다분야 CAE 관리 시스템 개발

In the manufacturing industries, CAE analysis results are frequently required during the product development process for design verification. CAE data which include all related information of an analysis is, however, not efficiently shared among engineers because CAE data size is in general very large to deal with. At first, we represent a proposed lightweight format which is capable to include all the types of CAE analysis results and to support hierarchical data structure. Since each CAE system has different data structures of its own, a translator which translates to the proposed format is also represented. Unlike the design environment with CAD system, many CAE systems are used in a manufacturing company because many sorts of analysis are performed usually for a product design. Thus, lots of CAE results are generated and occupy huge size within storage, and they make it harder to manage or share many CAE results efficiently. A multi-CAE management system which is able to share many types of CAE data simultaneously using lightweight format is proposed in this paper. Finally, an implementation of the system for this will be introduced.
Computer Assisted Surgery(CAS)를 이용한 개방형 근위경골절골술 시 전내측피질골경사각이 경골후방경사각에 미치는 영향

슬관절 내반슬과 외반슬의 부정정렬을 교정하는 방법 중 대표적인 수술법이 근위경골절골술이다. 개방형 쐐기 근위경골절골술(OWHTO)의 경우 근위비골 인접부의 경골외측 비골신경을 손상시킬 우려가 없고, 수술도중 교정각의 개방 정도를 임의대로 조절 변경 가능한 장점으로 최근 선호되고 있다. 그러나 술후 관상면에서의 외반 및 내반 교정은 바르게 이루어지는 반면, 시상면에서는 수술자가 의도하지 않은 경골내측고평부의 후방경사각(PSA) 변화가 발생한다는 문제점이 있다. 저자들은 이와 같은 문제의 극복을 위해 Computer Assisted Surgery를 이용한 근위경골절골술 기법을 자체적으로 개발하였고, 근위경골부의 CT 이미지 3차원 재건과 컴퓨터를 이용한 가상절골술을 수행하였다. 또한 술후에도 후방경사각(PSA)이 변화하지 않는 수술기법에 대해 제시하였다. 본 연구결과는 환자고유의 전내측피질골 경사각(ACOA)과 후방경사각(PSA)의 명확한 관계성에 대해 제시해줄 것이며 환자마다 다른 최적의 후방경사각 결정법에 대해 제시해 줄 것으로 판단된다. The leading surgical method for correcting the misalignment of the varus and valgus in the knee joint is the high tibial osteotomy (HTO). In the opening wedge HTO (OWHTO), there is no concern about damaging the peroneal nerve on the lateral tibia of the proximal fibula. OWHTO has been the preferred choice, as the opening of the correction angle can be modulated during the operation. The correction of the varus and valgus on the coronal plane are performed adroitly. Nevertheless, there have been numerous reports of unintended changes in the medial tibial plateau and posterior slope angle (PSA). The authors have developed an HTO method using computer-assisted surgery with the aim of addressing the abovementioned problems from an engineer"s perspective. CT images of the high tibia were reconstructed three-dimensionally, and a virtual osteotomy was performed on a computer. In addition, this study recommends a surgical method that does not cause changes in the PSA after OWHTO. The results of the study are expected to suggest a clear relationship between the anteromedial cortex oblique angle of each patient and the PSA, and an optimal PSA selection method for individuals.

In the manufacturing industries, viewing CAE analysis results is frequently required during the product development process for design verification. CAE data which include all related information of an analysis is, however, not efficiently shared among designers because CAE data size is in general large to deal with. In order to increase collaboration among designers this paper introduces the development of a CAE visualization system based on JT format exploiting for a large model visualization with a scene graph-based toolkit. Since CAE analysis results and JT format have different structure we developed a translator to convert the CAE result in binary format to the JT format. To show the effectiveness of JT format in showing the CAE result we also developed a prototype viewer offering basic functions provided by commercial systems. By using JT format we are able not only to reduce the size of analysis results, but to store a series of analysis results with several LOD in a data file.
〈기술논문〉 플라스틱 사출성형제품 유동해석 프로세스 개선을 위한 CAD/CAE 연계시스템 개발

In injection molding analysis, engineers depend on their experience to control process parameters such as injection time, packing and holding control, etc because there is no obvious indicator. Engineers usually analyze the same part several times with changing the process parameters to get results without defects. However, this is a burden to the engineers and a waste of time and cost. To decrease the number of analysis, this paper propose a system which has database created from previous one and automates the process of analysis. The database has dimensional properties and process parameters of existing products and the system predicts process parameters for new products with the database. To predict the process parameters, the system uses regression analysis. The regression analysis defines relation between dimensional properties and process parameters as a type of function. With this function, the system can get process parameters for new products.
