In this paper the structure of an engine and its interaction are investigated by a mathematical model for the performance evaluation. The total system is composed of air-fuel inlet element, intake manifold, combustion, engine dynamics and emission. Their control functions are schematically evaluated. Because of the model constructure with general engine functions and computer simulation of the chosen engine, physical characteristics of the corresponding engine and the engine data of normal operation states are used.<br/> According to the study, it is possible to predict the mixture rate by the difference in the mass of fuel and air flowing into cylinder and to evaluate and trace dynamic characteristic of operation state under various operating conditions. The model characteristic under the transient operating condition to evaluate operating of actual engine through the result of simululation.
A New Efficient Impulse Noise Detection based on Rank Estimation

In this paper, we present a new impulsive noise detection technique. To remove the impulse noise without detail loss, only corrupted pixels must be filtered. In order to identify the corrupted pixels, a new impulse detector based on rank and value estimations of the current pixel is proposed. Based on the rank and value estimations of the current pixel, the new proposed method provides excellent statistics for detecting an impulse noise while reducing the probability of detecting image details as impulses. The proposed detection is efficient and can be used with any noise removal filter. Simulation results show that the proposed method significantly outperforms many other well-known detection techniques in terms of image restoration and noise detection.
염색체의 감수분열을 응용한 변형 유전알고리즘에 대한 연구

본 논문에서는 인간 내에 존재하는 염색체의 검수분열을 이용한 변형된 유전 알고리즘에 대해 소개한다. 염색체 배열로 이루어진 개체와 이를 감수분열시켜서 생성한 생식체가 제시되며, 생식체들간의 교배를 통해 새로운 개체를 생성하는 앙ㄹ고리즘을 나타낸다. 이 생식체의 유형은 크게 XX,XY,MM 타입으로 나우었으며 이들의 교배에 의한 효고를 검증하기 위해 비교 대상으로 최근 우수한 알고리즘으로소개된 R.Stom이 개발한 차분진화 알고리즘의 결과와 비교하였다. 개체의 전체에 대한 돌연변이와 교배의 수행결과로 기존의 유전 알고리즘 보다 유연하고 여타 알고리즘에 비해서 작은 개체집단을 구성해서 운영하여 만족스러운 결과를 얻을 수 있었음을 보이고자 한다. By our definition, they are composed of gametes with X-type chromosomes or Y-type chromosomes or especially M(mutation)-type chromosomes. When tow gametes among them are randomly selected and recombined, the new individual is correspondingly generated. Without reducing the searching space significantly, the global solution can be readily searched by new generated individual. The performance of he presented algorithm is examined and evaluated through proper simulation using test functions.
