        『이상한 나라의 앨리스』에 나타난 여성 영웅 캐릭터의 신화적 특성과 의상

        신화의 보편성은 대중이 선호하는 판타지영화에서 적극적으로 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 영웅 신화의 서사구조가 적용되어 있으며 영화의상으로 가치를 인정받아 주목되는 영화인『이상한 나라의 앨리스』의 여성 영웅으로서의 앨리스 캐릭터와 영화의상의 특성에 관하여 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 캠벨과 보글러의 영웅 신화 서사구조를 정리하고, 영화『이상한 나라의 앨리스』에 반영된 영웅 신화 서사구조를 살폈으며, 영화 속 앨리스 캐릭터와 영화의상을 분석하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 앨리스는 모험 여정의 소명을 받고 시련을 겪으면서 소명을 완성하는 영웅 원형의 전형적인 특성을 재현하고 있었다. 그러나 현실 세계에서 소망하던 욕구들이 언더랜드의 여전사 역할이라는 우회적인 방법을 통해 자아실현으로 구현되었다는 점에서 남성 영웅과 다른 차별성을 보이고 있었다. 앨리스 의상은 영웅의 전형성과 남성성을 상징하는 디자인 요소가 활용되어 시대적 여성성을 극복하고 자아실현을 이루는 앨리스의 여성 영웅으로서의 특성을 나타내고 있었으며, 여성적이고 불완전한 이미지에서 양성적이고 안정적인 이미지로 변화되어 나타나고 있었다. The universal nature of myth is actively utilized in fantasy movie. This study is aimed at examining the characteristics of the movie costumes that the female heroic character wears in the film, Alice in Wonderland, which employs the narrative structure of the hero myth and receives much attention for movie costumes. For this purpose, the author investigates the narrative structure of the hero myth presented by Joseph Campbell and Christopher Vogler, examines the narrative structure of hero myth reflected in Alice in Wonderland, and analyzes the movie costumes of the character, Alice, in the film. According to the research, Alice displays the typical characteristics of the hero archetype who receives a call to undertake an adventurous journey, experiences ordeal along the way, and finally accomplishes the mission. However, Alice also shows a distinction from male heroes in that the desires in reality are fulfilled in an indirect way through her role of a female warrior in the "underland". The costumes of Alice adopt the design elements that represent typical attributes of an archetype hero and masculinity. By doing so, her movie outfits display the character`s intrinsic nature as a female heroic figure who overcomes the gender notions of the time and achieves self-realization. Accordingly, Alice`s image shifts from that of a feminine and disordered image to an androgynous and stable one.

        Resume of this study is as follows. Fashion Illustration is not only a simple sketch of clothes embodiment but also an objective oriented picture with concrete conception. It reflects one's generation, using body and fashion of the epoch as materials. Modern Fashion Illustration pursues a unique and diverse modeling according to the designer's modeling conception, and the body shaped by the Fashion Illustration represents the inner world of the designer and the ruling rhythm of the epoch. The body described in Fashion Illustration can be presented as follows. First, the body in Fashion Illustration is an impersonalized and simplified body with mechanical image which is resulted from disharmonious modern life. It is portrayed graphically and simple. Second, it can have an aggressive image, which is sexually accentuated and has violent appearance. The body can be exaggerated and its sexual image can be accentuated. Its fashion is portrayed realistically and exaggeratively. Third, it has an surrealistic image which represents a hidden reality and an unconscious world. The body and its fashion can be distorted and deformed. Fourth, it has an image of usual and natural man, and that of existing human being living today. The body in Fashion Illustration is presented realistically, and its fashion is described in details.

        여성 아이돌 그룹 의상의 특성

        오늘날 한국대중음악에서 가장 많이 등장하는 담론은 걸그룹이다. 본 연구는 걸그룹에 관한 일반적 특성을 살피고, 걸그룹 의상을 분석하여 특성을 고찰하는데 목적을 두고 있으며, 대중음악을 도구로 한 문화읽기를 통하여 패션 트렌드를 파악하는데 의의를 둔다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 걸그룹의 특성은 기획된 생산품, 청소년 문화, 다양한 팬덤, 엔터테이너화, 세계화로 정리할 수 있다. 그러나 걸그룹의 음악 및 안무를 통해 나타나는 주목되는 특성은 성적 코드가 내포된 가사와 안무로 청소년 문화가 변형되어 나타나는 점이다. 걸그룹의 의상의 외형적인 특성은 활발한 댄스를 위한 활동성 유지가 필수적이며, 걸그룹 이미지의 통일성을 위해 유니폼이 활용되고 있다. 노출을 활용하거나 페티쉬한 아이템으로 관능성이 강조되며, 다양한 복고풍의 아이템과 코디네이션으로 향수를 자극한다. 마지막으로 믹스 앤 매치가 그룹의 차별화나 관능미와 청소년의 순수미를 동시에 해결할 수 있는 전략으로 활용된다. 걸그룹 의상의 내적 특성은 변신, 이중성, 판타지로 고찰되는데, 첫째, 걸그룹의 진화를 충분하게 커버할 수 있는 변신이 작용하며, 둘째, 통일감이 강조되면서 동시에 믹스 앤 매치되거나 순수함과 관능성이 동시에 강조되는, 이중성이 작용하고 있다. 셋째, 관능성은 신체를 부각하고 섹시한 댄스를 뒷받침하는 중요한 코드로 작용하고 있으며 판타지를 유발하고 있다. Atop the popular topics of the times about the modern Korean music is girl-groups. This study proposes to look into general traits of girl-groups and examine their traits by analyzing their costumes. At the same time, the current study seeks to get at the root of the fashion trend through culture reading with popular music as a tool. Here are our findings: General traits of girl-groups could be summarized as designed product, youth culture, fandom composed of various generations, switchover to entertainment, and globalization. Noteworthy traits showing themselves through girl-groups` music and choreography are characterized by lyrics and choreography suggestive of sexual codes, thereby distorting the youth culture. External characteristics of the girl-groups` costumes could be summarized as follows: it is essential to maintain dynamism for lively dances and uniforms are positively used for unity of a girl-group. Either exposure is made use of or sensuality as a fetish item is emphasized, and nostalgia is stimulated by means of various items of retrospective looks and coordination. Lastly, mix and match features differences from other groups or is made use of as a strategy whereby to convey sensuality and adolescent innocence simultaneously. This research defines the internal characteristics of the girl-groups` costumes as metamorphosis, duality, fantasy. First, metamorphosis is activated so that evolution of girl-groups may be fully covered. Second, duality comes into play where innocence and sensuality are emphasized or mixed and matched while at the same time sense of unity is emphasized simultaneously. Third, sensuality serves as an important code that underscores the body and backs up sexy dances, and evokes fantasy.

        서양복식에 표현된 여성인체의 해석에 관한 고찰

        In western clothing, woman`s body was portrayed sexually as the distinction of sex was appeared, and the parts of body contain some kind of symbol of sex. Woman`s body was diversly accentuated according to the divers ideal beauty concepts pursuits in the different periods. Today, in a Post-industrial society whose social structure is very divers and complicated, the interpretation of woman`s body reveals so various as the complex social structure. The purpose of this study is to comprehend the various interpretations of woman`s body in the contemporary clothing. The concrete purposes of this study is as follows. First, this study is to define the concept of natural body and built body by differentiating the parts of body and searching for the sexual symbols accentuated in the western clothing. Second this study aims to review, the historical process of prejudged distinction of sex in the western clothing, and to analyse the contemporary sociocultural which forced to change this prejudged distinction of sex. Third, on the bases of this analses, this study also aims to present various interpretation on divers aspects of woman`s body portrayed in the contemporary clothing. The interpretation of woman`s body in the contemporary clothing were as follow. First, it is a body interpreted as a natural and neutral body which is based not so much on prejudged division of sex as on the expression of the body structure. And, it is a decomposed and recomposed body which is based on plastic principles. This body is portrayed by a layering and wrapping which interrogated such traditional symbols of western clothing as collar, sleeve or trousers, skirt, etc. Second, it is a sexually symbolized body. This body is displayed by exposure or sexual accentuation in the clothing. To conclude, a body interpreted in the contemporary clothing is no more a body accentuated by division of sex, but a body which permits indefinite hypotheses and interpretations under synthetic imagination.

        혈액투석 환자에서 갑상선 초음파의 추적

        Background: Chronic kidney disease is considered a risk factor for thyroid nodules as well as thyroid dys-function such as hypothyroidism. Among patients on hemodialysis, we assessed the size of thyroid nodule and goiter at baseline and 1 year later with ultrasonography. Methods: We prospectively selected 47 patients with hemodialysis at January 2012 and reviewed their medical records. We checked goiter and thyroid nodules at January 2012 and December 2012. Results: In the hemodialysis patients (n=47), 24 patients (51.1%) had thyroid nodules and 33 patients (70.2%) had goiter at baseline. Parathyroid hormone (PTH) was higher in patients with thyroid nodules (204.4±102.9 vs. 129.9±93.6 pg/mL, p=0.01). Thyroid ultrasonography was conducted in 29 patients after 1 year. The thick-ness of the thyroid isthmus increased (2.8±1.6 vs. 3.2±1.9 mm, p=0.003), but the number of nodules did not change (1.2±1.9 vs. 1.4±2.0, p=0.109). PTH was associated with the enlargement of thyroid nodules signi-ficantly through logistic regression analysis. Conclusion: Thyroid goiter and nodules in hemodialysis patients were more prevalent than in the general population. PTH influenced the production of thyroid nodules in hemodialysis patients. Regular examination with thyroid ultrasonography and thyroid function test should be considered in hemodialysis patients.
