With the development of the auto industry, the automobile manufacturers demand to shorten development period and reduce the cost. Compared with the traditional method, applying the virtual prototype is more economical. This paper presents a method for parameters sensitivity analysis and optimizing the performance of vehicle noise and vibration. The existing design processes were repeatedly analyzed with a focus on vehicle performance to decide the design parameters of dimension, thickness, mounting type of body and chassis systems in the vehicle development period. This paper describes the prediction technique of vehicle performance using L18 orthogonal array layout, quality deviation analysis and parameter sensitivity analysis for robust design. This paper analyzed the performance correlation equation through the frequency and sensitivity database according to a design factor change. The new concept is that the performance prediction is possible without repeated activities of test and analysis. This paper described the parameter analysis applications such as bush dynamic stiffness and bush void direction of rear suspension. Design engineer could efficiently decide the design variable using parameter analysis database in early design stage. These improvements can reduce man hour and test development period as well as to achieve stable NVH performance.

Objectives The aim of the present study was to investigate gender difference in empathic ability and recognition of facial emotion expression in schizophrenic patients. Methods Twenty-two schizophrenic outpatients (11 men and 11 women) and controls (10 men and 12 women) performed both the scale of Empathic Quotient (EQ) and facial emotion recognition test. We compared the scores of EQ and the facial emotion recognition test among each group according to diagnosis and gender. Results We found a significant sex difference in the scores of EQ and the facial emotion recognition test in the schizophrenic patients. And there were significantly negative correlation between the score of the facial emotion recognition test and the scores of Positive and Negative Symptom Scale (PANSS) in female schizophrenic patients. However, in male schizophrenic patients, there were no significant correlations between the score of each test and the scores of PANSS. Conclusions This study suggests that the sex difference in empathic ability and facial emotion recognition would be very important in chronic schizophrenic patients. Investigation of sex effects in empathic ability and facial emotion recognition in chronic schizophrenic patients would present an important solution for constructing optimal rehabilitation program.
통합재난관리 체계의 성과에 관한 연구 : 인천광역시를 중심으로

Fire administration has been changed many times over time according to the national policy change based upon social environmental changes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of integrated disaster management system by using Incheon Metropolitan City as a case. This study also divided Korean local disaster management systems into three forms, integrated, half-integrated, separated systems. A survey was conducted questioning achievement level of integrated disaster management system based on the public servants of Korea Fire Fighting, in particular those of Incheon Metropolitan City. The survey result shows controlling system, cooperation system between organizations, cooperation system between fire fighter position and general public servants, resource management system showed as significant variables to affect integrated disaster management. The result also shows the controlling system affects result satisfaction more than other factors.
IDLE 진동 저감을 위한 스티어링 시스템 설계 최적화 연구

High stiffness and light weight vehicle is a major target in the refinement of passenger cars to meet customers' contradictable requirements between NVH Performance and Fuel Economy. This paper describes the analysis approach process for idle vibration reduction through the data level of steering system stiffness. The fundamental solution for this problem is separation of steering column frequency from resonance of body structure, and high stiffness of steering system takes advantage of reduction of idle vibration level. Traditionally. the target of the steering system stiffness is set by benchmarking of a competitive vehicle and frequency range from resonance of engine idle rpm. According to the sensitivity of design factors for high stiffness of steering system. we can suggest the design guideline about steering column and support parts by using mother car at initial design stage. And we established techniques of analysis on steering system and evaluated the level of accuracy of analyses through correlating the test an analyses results. It makes possible to design the good NVH performance vehicle at initial design stage and save vehicles to be used in tests. These improvements can lead to shortening the time needed to develop better vehicles.

The ride and noise behavior of a vehicle is significantly affected by vibration transferred from the engine and suspension to the body through the chassis mounting points. Recently the trend of automobile industry is that IQS evaluation index against a sensitivity quality is increasing. To reduce rattle noise due to speaker sound at low frequencies, it is required the advanced technology analysis process of body structure. This paper optimized the design parameters of package tray panel according to the theoretical background about robust design and suggested the design guideline for resonance avoidance and the reduction of vibrational sensitivity considering the excitation frequency of woofer speaker. And this paper described the design process of a door module panel through the sensitivity analysis in case of the door speaker excitation. Finally, the analysis of the quality deviation using mother car is suggested to guarantee the stable characteristics of vehicle vibration in the early stage of vehicle development. These improvements can lead to shortening the time needed to develop better vehicles.
