산업사회에서 정보화시대로 넘어오면서, 대중을 위한 제품과 서비스에 가리워졌던 개별 소비자들의 독특한 특성이 표출되기 시작하였다. 이것은 인터넷 기업 입장에서 고객 한 명 한 명을 하나의 Segment로 생각하는 ‘개인마케팅(Personalization Marketing)'을 수행해 나가야 하고, 예전에는 달성하지 못했던 수준의 만족까지도 달성해야만 하는 상황으로 치닫게 되었다는 것을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 극도로 개인 지향적인 제품이며 고객 만족을 극대화 시켜야하는 소비자 중심의 산업인 의류를 대상으로 한 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 개인화의 실행 수준과 소비자의 기대수준의 차이를 밝히고, 이에 따른 쇼핑몰 디자인 개발 방향에 관해 연구해 보고자 한다. As our society has been moving from the industrial society towards the information society, individual consumers' unique needs which were concealed behind mass products and services have been revealing themselves. As for Internet businesses, they are requested to implement the 'individual marketing' which regards each consumer as a segment of market, while being pressured to meet consumers' needs at the level never accomplishable before. The purpose of this study was to review the gap between the progress of individualization and consumers' expectations on the Internet shopping malls centering around the apparel shopping malls - which are most obliged to satisfy the consumers who are extremely individualized - and thereupon, explore the directions for development of on-line shopping mall designs.

The homepage builder can give you a solution to these mentioned issues in a short period of time. In keeping with its individual intentions, just selecting several simple stages will generate the contents that you desire, and filling in the descriptions that suit the individual purposes will give you a completed homepage, thereby you can now exchange your information through the interactive functions with other people. Currently, many homepages have been providing the automatic homepage creation tools in the name of homepage wizards, through which they have been in service for the individual users. Under the today personalized generation, this study is focusing on building the homepages that can best express through analyzing the homepage automatic generating elements and designs relative to the existing portal sites, and thereby suggesting the future directions for the interface design of the individual homepage builder in the following points.
