With the use of the NC machine tool, the unmanned production system bas been growing recently in the manufacturing field. Thus there are problems with monitoring adequate tool fracture during the cutting process efficiently. This study was planned and carried out to discover a way of monitoring tool condition in ON-LINE systems during the cutting process. The acquisition of data in cutting force and tool wear has been made in the section examined, to extract the RMS value of the cutting force as specific factors in the cutting process. The fluctuation of the cutting force in accordance with tool wear has been analysed by using experimental data as the RMS characteristics. From the results, it has been shown that the fluctuation of the RMS values for the cutting force has a close relation to flank wear.

본 논문에서는 한반도 지역 내에서 안정적인 위성통신 서비스를 위한 최적의 망 이중화 지점을 제안한다. 이를 위해 기상청에서 측정한 88개 지점, 5년간의 강우량 데이터를 분석하였으며, 상관관계를 이용하여 두 지점간 강우가 동시에 발생할 확률 변화를 분석하였다. 국내 위성통신 관련 4개 주요 지점을 중심으로 강우 발생 상관도 변화를 등고선 맵으로 분석하였으며, 송신 지구국 이중화 지점으로 가장 적합한 지점/지역에 대한 정보를 제안하였다. This paper proposes appropriate locations for site diversity to provide stable satellite communication service in Korea. For this purpose, we analyzed rainfall rate data measured by KMA for 5 years at 88 sites, and the variations of simultaneous occurrence of rainfall rate in pairs of sites using the correlation coefficient. This paper provided contour maps of the spatial ditstribution of rainfall rate correlation, and proposed information on the optimum sites/regions for the operation of muti-uplink satellite systems, in 4 cities which were principal in field of satellite communication in Korea.

This paper describes a measuring method of vibration mode shapes by the Electronic Shearography. This method called the speckle interferometer has many merits in practical use, such as low sensitivity to environmental noise, low limit of coherent-length and simple optical configuration. In this study, we developed Michelson-type shearing interferometer provided with a phase stepping mirror and with a bias modulation mirror to quantify the vibration gradient fields. Results of application to a simple cantilever plate show that the vibration amplitude fields obtained are in good agreement with those of the electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI).
