Objectives : To observe the mitigating effects of a Traditional Korean Medicine treatment program, called Wheel Balanced Cancer Therapy (WBCT), with Adriamycin and 5-FU chemotherapy on a breast cancer patient. Methods : A 26 year old female patient diagnosed with stage IIb breast cancer was admitted to the East-West Cancer Center (EWCC) in February of 2010. She received Adriamycin and 5-FU from February 22nd, to July 20th, 2010 followed by WBCT consisting of herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion and physiotherapy for 5 months. Her symptoms were measured by Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE) and her quality of life was measured by Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG). Results : WBCT significantly alleviated chemotherapy-induced nausea, oral dryness, and peripheral neuropathy. Quality of life also significantly improved. Conclusions : This case study potentiates WBCT's significant efficacy in aiding breast cancer patients suffering from Adriamycin plus 5-FU chemotherapy induced adverse effects.
ISO/PAS 21448 표준을 고려한 군집주행의 VENTOS 시뮬레이션

여러 대의 자율주행 차량이 하나의 그룹을 형성하여 주행하는 군집주행은 미래 고속도로 교통 시스템의 핵심 기술이다. 이러한 군집주행에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 상황에서의 안전을 고려하는 일은 단독 자율 주행에서의 경우보다 더 어렵다. 다양한 군집주행의 안전 위협 요인 중, 의도하지 않은 동작으로부터 자율주행 차량의 안전성을 향상하는 방법을 가이드하기 위하여 새로운 표준 ISO/PAS 21448이 제정 되었다. 본 논문에서는 ISO/PAS 21448 표준이 다루는 시나리오를 통해 군집주행에서 발생할 수 있는 의도하지 않은 상황의 극복을 위한 방법을 제시하였다. 특히 군집주행 시뮬레이터인 VENTOS를 이용하여 본 논문에서 제시하는 방법이 안전한 군집주행이라는 목표를 달성할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Deterioration of the educational facilities built before 1985 is a serious situation. The purpose of this study is to present the efficient remodeling method of old educational facilities. This paper, part III, presents the systemic and synthetic judgment method of deterioration grade of finished materials. Evaluation of the deterioration is carried out in every eight classrooms or building elements divided by the use. And classrooms are divided by several parts for example floor, wall and ceiling etc.. The whole deterioration of the building judges the result of every part collectively.

To obtain basic data used for establishing the criteria of deterioration in renovation of educational facilities, current problems of material and method and quality improvements were examined. In this study, the elementary schools built 20 and 70 years ago were unintentionally chosen and studied. With the data of the repair of old educational facilities, the results are as follows. The First problem is that the construction priority which was based on non-experts decision. The Second problem is that maintenance method which changes the materials after their life was ended. So, refer to remodeling of educational facilities, the selections of proper materials and methods to use of each function were main object in this study.
초등학교 시설의 개·보수 실태 및 노후화 현황에 관한 연구

The purposes of this study are to obtain basic data for method of remodeling , and to consider a program to understand the degree of deterioration in educational facilities. To get these data, actual repair condition and deterioration condition in Elementary School Facilities were studied. The results of the actual condition of repair in elementary school facilities were as follows. Firstly, pre-examinations based on life-cycle of facilities were not executed. Secondly, inadequate valuations on facilities accelerated the deteriorations of facilities. Finally, construction material and method were applied equally to all facilities ignoring performance criteria. These factors shortened life-cycle and caused economic loss. The results of current problems in maintenance were as follows. Firstly, valuation processes were subject and empirical. Secondly, institution of item and grade to value deterioration was ambiguous. Finally, The facilities were valued by limiting examinations and appraisals. In sum, the establishment of general idea for the evaluation of deterioration and the presentation of total decision method for the scheme of deterioration are required.
