        인적자본은 언제 기업의 혁신성과를 향상시킬 수 있는가? : 국제화 경험의 조절효과를 중심으로

        Purpose - This study investigates the relationship between firm-specific, general human capital and corporate innovation performance. Also, we examine when this relationship is more salient. Design/methodology/approach - We collected 1,195 survey data related to a sample of corporate innovation performance and human capital from 1) Korea Research for Vocational Education and Training and 2) NICE information service in Korea. In order to examine the corporate innovation performance, we use the ordered logit model. Findings - First, we find robust supports for our hypothesis that firm-specific and general human capital increase corporate innovation performance. Second, the effect of general human capital on corporate innovation performance is stronger when this relationship is combined with the firm international experience. Research implications or Originality - By integrating the human capital theory and corporate innovation literature, we propose that firm-specific and general human capital are the important determinant of innovation performance. The firm-specific human capital may increase innovation efficiencies. Also, retaining higher-quality general human capital is considered as an important innovation strategy since firms with higher-quality general human capital make greater innovation performance. Further, we show that the firm international experience is the crucial boundary condition. As a firm’s experience in internationalization increases, firms can enhance the opportunities to develop new products by combining the skills and knowledge derived from general human capital with the experience gained through internationalization.

        Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP)을 이용한 꿀벌 바이러스 질병의 신속 검출법 개발

        Bee viral infections are very difficult to be identified by a macroscopic way, so an easy detection method is demanded to effectively monitor and control honeybee viral diseases in apiaries. For detection of BQCV, a BQCV-specific loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) detection method was developed. In this study, we added SybrGreen into PCR product after LAMP, visualizing amplified products from BQCVinfected honeybee samples by green fluorescent. LAMP only needs a water bath instead of sophisticate equipments, therefore this method may be very suitable for field research. In addition, two IAPV-specific primer sets (IAPV-InnerF/R and IAPV-Outer-F/R) were designed and evaluated for application of LAMP to IAPV detection. The IAPV-specific DNA fragments could be amplified less than 60 minutes by Bst DNA polymerase under an isothermal condition in the temperature range between 55°C and 60°C. This method is expected not only to be used for BQCV and IAPV field detection but also to be applied to development of field detection method for various viral pathogens of honeybees.

        국내 양봉장에서 Kashmir Bee Virus(KBV)의 검출과 이의 분자생물학적 고찰

        Kashmir Bee Virus (KBV) is potentially lethal to honeybees that has recently come to prominence as one of several viruses closely associated with colony collapse. As most honeybee viral diseases, distinctive symptoms of KBV-infected honeybees were not described in detail. For the investigation of putative KBV infection in Korean apiaries, PCR detection targeting RNA polymerase gene of KBV were performed with KBV-specific primer-pairs. This PCR method was able to detect reliably the existence of the virus from honeybee samples. Total 104 honeybee samples from Korean apiaries were tested by KBV-specific PCR, KBVs were detected in 17 cases (16.3%). In aspect of the regional distribution the KBV infection were dominant found samples from south region in Korea. To identify the 443 base-pairs amplicon, the nucleotide sequences were determined by using molecular cloning and automatic sequencing. Homology between determined sequences of KBV korean strain and reported sequences of other KBVs were calculated in the ranging 98% to 88% in DNA sequence, and 99% to 97% in amino acid sequence, respectively. Interestingly, high homology between KBV korean strain and Israel acute bee paralysis virus (IABPV) were also found as 97% in DNA sequence, and 99 in amino acid sequence.

        한국산 꿀벌에서 Black Queen Cell Virus의 검출

        Black Queen Cell Virus(BQCV) causes the death of queen larvae and pupae. Generally, queen cells are endangered showing dark colored cell walls as typical symptoms. In our knowledge, this is the first report on the infection of BQCV in Korea. The infection of BQCV was identified by PCR method from honeybees in Korea. The sequence of the PCR product was determined and analysed. Nucleotide and amino acid sequence were aligned to the complete BQCV sequence deposited in the GenBank database and were revealing 97.7% and 98.3% homology, respectively. The PCR method was able to detect easily the existence of the virus from adult honeybee. In addition, almost samples infected by BQCV in this study were co-infected with other pathogen such as, paenibacillus larvae and/or Nosema and/or Kashimir bee virus etc.

        Israel Acute Paralysis Virus의 진단을 위한 Real-Time PCR 진단법의 개발

        Israel acute paralysis virus (IAPV) was reported as one of fatal viral pathogens cause colony collapse disorder (CCD). For the quantitative detection of IAPV which are infected in honeybee, a real-time reverse transcription PCR (RT-RT-PCR) technique was developed. A specific detection primer set (IAPV-162PF/ R) was designed and evaluated. The unique 162bp DNA fragment was quantitatively amplified using specific primer pairs. In the real-time PCR assays with serially diluted template and artificially contaminated tem-plate, the specific RT-RT-PCR showed high sensitivities which were able to detect each 101 copies in the both standard assays. IAPV could be detected by using this newly developed real-time PCR, which would be an accurate tool for quantitative detection of IAPV. The described IAPV-RT-RTPCR would be useful for the control and the prevention of IAPV as far as CCD in honeybees.

        Melissococcus plutonious, Bacillus subtilis와 Paenibacillus alvei의 구분을 위한 Multiplex-Rapid PCR 진단법 개발

        The bacterium, Melissococcus plutonious is a casual agent of European foul brood (EFB), which is a disease of larval honeybees. Because pure isolation of M plutonious is pretty difficult due to its stringently anaerobic growth-condition and relatively weak ability in the growth-competition among other bacteria, even the PCR-detection of M. plutonious was often not accurate. In this study, Multiplex-Rapid PCR method was developed for the detection to distinguish M. plutonious from secondary invader, such as Bacillus subtilis, Paenibacillus alvei. Multiplex PCR was designated' using 5 species-specific primers based on the each 16s rRNA genes of these bacteria in one PCR. The species-specific identification could be easy recognized by different sizes of PCR-products, such as 339bp (M. plutonious), 603bp (P. alvei), 438bp (B. subtilis) and 736bp (control PCR fragment). This type of PCR would be useful for the improvement of accurate EFB-detection.

        꿀벌(Apis mellifera L.)에서 Israeli Acute Paralysis Virus(IAPV) 진단을 위한 PCR 법의 개발

        Israeli acute paralysis virus (IAPV) was reported as a putative marker for colony collapse disorder (CCD) by Metagenomic analysis. To choose the most distinctive and specific primers (IAPV162P_P/IAPV113P_PR) for IAPV detection. Consequently, the chosen produce a 567 nucleotide long fragment. This amplified gene was performed molecular cloning. And than the clone was named 164IAPV. 164IAPV has 97% homology and 99% homology with IAPV(GenBank Accession no. EF2l9380) nucleotide sequence and protein sequence, respectively. However, l64IAPV has for 69% homology with KBV. In this work, we designed IAPV specific primer set and detected IAPV in samples of honeybee (Apis mellifera L.) from Korea beekeeper by IAPV-PCR. The described IAPV-PCR proved to be an accurate tool for rapid detection of IAPV in honeybee specimens. Therefore, It seems feasible that this detection method will be apply in early detection and control of IAPV.

        봉합 불가능한 광범위 회전근 개 파열에서 상완 이두근 건 장두를 이용한 관절경하 부분 봉합술의 장기 추적 관찰 결과

        목적: 본 연구에서는 봉합 불가능한 광범위 회전근 개 파열에 있어서 상완 이두근 건 장두를 이용한 관절경하 부분 봉합술의 임상적 유용성 및 장기 추시 결과를 발표하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 봉합 불가능한 광범위 회전근 개 파열 환자 중 상완 이두근 건 장두에 50% 미만의 파열이 있는 41명의 환자를 대상으로 상완 이두근 건 장두를 이용하여 관절경하 부분 봉합술을 시행받은 1군과 파열되지 않은 상완 이두근 건 장두가 있으나 자가이식건을 이용하지 않고 관절경하 부분 봉합술만을 시행한 2군으로 나누었다. 임상 점수는 시각통증점수(visual analogue pain scale, VAS), 운동범위(range of motion, ROM), The University of California, Los Angeles shoulder score (UCLA), American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Shoulder Score (ASES) 및 Korean Shoulder Scoring System (KSS) 점수로 측정하였으며 최종 추시에 측정된 점수가 사용되었다. 수술 전과 최종 추시에 촬영한 단순 방사선 사진을 이용하여 견봉상완거리(acromiohumeral interval, AHI)를 측정하였고 최종 추시에 시행한 초음파 또는 자기공명영상 검사를 이용하여 재파열 여부를 평가하였다. 결과: 환자의 평균 연령은 62.1±12.7세였으며, 평균 추시 기간은 90.3±16.8개월이었다. 1군과 2군 간에 VAS와 ROM (전방 거상, 외회전, 내회전)의 유의한 차이는 없었다(p=0.179, p=0.129, p=0.098, p=0.155). UCLA, ASES 및 KSS 점수는 2군과 비교해 1군에서 기능적 개선을 보였다(p=0.041, p=0.023, p=0.019). 최종 추시 시 AHI는 1군 9.46±0.41 mm, 2군 6.86±0.64 mm로 측정되었다(p=0.032). 재파열은 1군 21예 중 6예(28.6%), 2군 20예 중 9예(45.0%)에서 발견되었다. 1군의 경우 2군에 비하여 유의하게 낮은 재파열률을 보였다(p=0.011). 결론: 본 연구에서는 봉합이 불가능한 광범위 회전근 개 파열이 있는 환자들에게 상완 이두근 건 장두를 이용한 관절경하 부분 봉합술을 시행하여 장기 추시한 결과, 상완 이두근 건 장두를 사용하지 않은 군에 비하여 기능적 향상 및 낮은 재파열률을 보인다. 따라서 이는 봉합 불가능한 광범위 회전근 개 파열이 있는 환자에서 좋은 수술적 방법으로 생각된다. Purpose: This paper presents the long term follow-up results of arthroscopic partial repair for massive irreparable rotator cuff tears using a biceps long head auto graft. Materials and Methods: Forty-one patients with massive irreparable rotator cuff tear, who underwent arthroscopic repair, were reviewed retrospectively. Patients who underwent arthroscopic partial repair using a biceps long head auto graft were assigned to group 1, and patients in group 2 underwent arthroscopic partial repair alone. Patients with a less than 50% partial tear of the long head biceps tendon were included in this study. The clinical scores were measured using a visual analogue pain scale (VAS) for pain, range of motion (ROM), The University of California, Los Angeles shoulder score (UCLA), American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Shoulder Score (ASES), and Korean Shoulder Scoring System (KSS) scores preoperatively and at the final follow-up. The acromiohumeral interval (AHI) was measured using plain radiographs taken preoperatively and at the final follow-up, and re-tear was evaluated using postoperative ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging at the last follow-up. Results: The mean age of the patients was 62.1±12.7 years, and the mean follow-up period was 90.3±16.8 months. No significant differences in the VAS and ROM (forward flexion, external rotation, internal rotation) were found between the two groups (p=0.179, p=0.129, p=0.098, p=0.155, respectively). The UCLA (p=0.041), ASES (p=0.023), and KSS (p=0.019) scores showed functional improvements in group 1 compared to group 2. At the last follow-up, the measured AHI values were 9.46±0.41 mm and 6.86±0.64 mm in group 1 and 2, respectively (p=0.032). Re-tear was observed in six out of 21 cases (28.6%) in group 1 and nine out of 20 cases (45.0%) in group 2; the retear rate was significantly lower in group 1 than in group 2 (p=0.011). Conclusion: Arthroscopic partial repair for a massive irreparable rotator cuff tear using a biceps long head auto graft has significant clinical usefulness in functional recovery and decreases the re-tear rates after surgery than arthroscopic partial repair alone, showing favorable results after a long-term follow-up.

        Israel Acute Paralysis Virus (IAPV) 검출을 위한 PCR primer쌍들의 평가

        In order to evaluate primers designed to detect Israel acute paralysis virus (IAPV) that was reported as a putative marker for colony collapse disorder (CCD), cDNA which was synthesized from 10 honeybee suspected samples was examined by specific PCR with 9 different pairs of primers. In this study, specific amplicons were produced by PCR using AMIAPV, ORF2 and IAPVrDrp primer-pairs from IAPV-infected samples and also from Kashmir Bee Virus (KBV) infected samples. In case of PCR with IAPV162PF/ 113PR primer pairs, only IAPV-infected samples were detected with weak signal in some case. In addition, 4 pairs of primers were newly designed for the purpose of confirmational detection for IAPV. Using IAPV specific primers-pairs, named IAPV162PF/R, IAPV113PF/R, IAPV105SF/R and IAPV-gp2 F/R, only IAPV-infected samples were specifically detected.
