Red mud is an industrial by-product produced during the manufacturing aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)<sub>3</sub>) and aluminum oxide(Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>) from Bauxite ores. In Korea, approximately 2tons of red mud in a sludge form with 40~60% moisture content is produced when 1 ton of Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> is produced through the Bayer process. An annual production of approximately 20tons are produced by company K, which is responsible for most of the domestic production. Therefore, in order to utilize Red Mud in the construction industry, this study evaluated the pore characteristics of ordinary portland cement mortar according to the red mud replacement ratio.

In study, the lightweight insulation mortar is produced with more than 50,000tons of waste each year, but it is difficult to treat with the degradable composite material and the recycling ratio is still 50%. the lightweight insulation mortar is manufactured by using the ratio of expanded polystyrene and pulverized expanded polystyrene.

An increasing amount of red mud (RM) is being generated globally with the growth in alumi-num production. To avoid the RM becoming a pollutant, methods for effectively recycling RM at a low cost are being investigated. This study proposes a method for recycling RM as a construc-tion material. The cement paste with neutralized liquefied red mud had higher compressive strength than that of plain cement paste and cement paste with liquefied red mud without neutralization at 1 d of aging; this indicates that nitric acid neu-tralization increases the early-age strength.
한국인의 자궁경부암과 상피내종양에서 E-cadherin 유전자 다형성에 관한 연구

Objective: The aim of this study was to explore the association between E-cadherin promoter -160C>A polymorphism and the risk of cervical cancer and cervical intraepithelial neoplasm (CIN) in a Korean population. Methods: We investigate 107 patients with histopathologically confirmed cervical cancer, 119 patients with histopathologically confirmed CIN and 112 control group women who were surgically proven to have normal cervices. The genetic distribution of E-cadherin promoter -160C>A polymorphism were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) of PCR products. Results: We found no overall association between each individual E-cadherin promoter -160C>A genotype and the risk of cervical cancer and CIN. In the cervical cancer group, the allele frequency of C was 83.6%, in the control group 83.5%, showing no significant difference (p=0.941). Similarly, in the CIN group, the allele frequency of C was 81.9%, in the control group 83.5%, showing no significant difference (p=0.645). A subgroup analysis of the clinical parameters in CC, CA, AA genotype also showed no significant difference suggesting the lack of an association between E-cadherin promoter -160C>A polymorphism and cervix cancer stages (p=0.413), then its polymorphism and HPV infection (p=0.634). Conclusion: our results show that Korean women with specific polymorphism in E-cadherin promoter -160C>A are neither more susceptible to develop the cervical cancer or CIN nor more valuable for the cancer progression.

In this search, by evaluating the field applicability of soil mixed pavement of Red mud is mixed into the soil mixed pavement field applicability, and tries to present the basic data about the site application of recycling of red mud and low carbon construction material to. As a result, the conventional soil concrete organization standards (SPSKSCICO- 001: 2003) meets the criteria for parking lot, making use of red mud, natural color as well as the natural loess is expressed.
정서적 학대 경험과 직장인의 관계적 공격성의 관계: 적대적 자동적 사고의 매개효과

This study describes the process of bullying in the workplace. It analyzes the mediating effect of hostile automatic thoughts in the relationship between emotional abuse experience and relational aggression among employees. An online survey of 330 employees aged 19 and older was conducted. Structural equation modeling was used for the data analysis. The study found that hostile automatic thoughts partially mediated the relationship between emotional abuse experience and relational aggression. The result implies that more experiences of emotional abuse lead to more hostile automatic thoughts, which then increase one’s tendency toward relational aggression. Based on these results, cognitive intervention in counseling was discussed.

For this study, alkali-activated slag red-mud pavement is manufactured to examine the usability of red-mud as a recycling material in the construction industry. In the compaction curve in terms of the replacement ratio of red mud by binder type, the dry density changed gradually depending on the water content, which implies that there is no distinct difference in compaction according to the replacement ratio of red mud. The compressive strength at 28 days was observed to be 18.9~27.0MPa in ASS, and 18.4~28.8MPa in OPC, showing a similar level between the specimens.
