        점진적 과제지향적 다리근력강화 운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형능력과 일상생활수행능력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: This study investigated the effects of progressive resistance task-oriented strengthening exercises (PRTSE) on the strength of the lower extremities, balance, and activities of daily living (ADL) of patients following a stroke. The purpose of the study was to provide fundamental data regarding the use of PRTSE with stroke patients. Methods: Twenty stroke patients were randomly divided into an experimental group (n = 10) who took part in PRTSE and a control group (n = 10) who performed general rehabilitation exercises. Both groups performed their respective exercises for 30 minutes five times a week for four weeks. The strength of their lower extremities was measured using a hand-held dynamometer. The balance of the participants was assessed using a Berg balance scale. The modified Barthel index was conducted to measure ADL. A paired t-test was performed to compare within-group changes before and after the PRTSE. Differences between the experimental and the control groups were analyzed using an independent t-test. For all tests, the level of statistical significance was α = 0.05. Results: After the exercises, there was a significant within-group change in the strength of lower extremities, balance, and ADL in the experimental group and the control group (p < 0.05). There was also a significant between-group difference in the strength of lower extremities after the intervention (p < 0.05). Conclusion: General rehabilitation is commonly applied as a treatment for stroke patients and is relatively effective. The application of PRTSE may be useful in such patients, considering its effects on the strength of lower extremities, balance, and ADL.

      • 요통환자에 대한 ICF Tool을 적용한 중재전략의 증례

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to describe the Intervention strategy applied ICF Tool on patient with low back pain. Methods : The data was collected by low back pain patient. We applied the ICF Tool for low back pain patient. Parameters of result were collected for using the VAS, 6 minute walk test and ICF assessment sheet. Results : Significant differences were observed the low back pain patient for VAS, 6 minute walk test and ICF assessment sheet. low back pain patient improved all test. Conclusion : ICF Tool applied Intervention about low back pain patient is very useful and effective. It is effective in clinical practice.

      • PNF기법을 적용한 슬링운동이 만성요통환자의 통증과 균형능력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of sling exercise with PNF basic procedure in patients with chronic low back pain. Methods : This study included 14 patients with chronic low back pain, who were performed sling exercise combined PNF basic procedure. The exercise program comprised 3 sessions of 30 minutes per week for 8 weeks. The VAS(Visual analogue Scale) and BBS(Berg Balance Scale) were evaluated before and after training. All data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0. Results : Significant differences were observed the chronic low back pain patient for VAS, BBS. Chronic low back pain patient improved all test. Conclusion : Sling exercise with PNF basic procedure about chronic low back pain patient is very useful and effective. It is effective in clinical practice.

        제주지역에서 소비되는 식품 중 <sup>137</sup>Cs과 <sup>40</sup>K 방사능 농도

        본 연구는 제주지역에서 소비되는 식품류 중의 $^{137}Cs$ 과$^{40}K$ 방사능 농도를 조사하여, 식품 섭취에 따른 $^{137}Cs$와 $^{40}K$에 의한 내부피폭 선량의 값을 평가함으로써 만일의 원자력 사고로 인한 방사능 오염에 대처할 수 있는 기초 자료를 확보하고자 수행하였다. 시료로 채취한 식품류는 농산물 31, 축산물 6, 수산물 12, 임산물 4 그리고 가공식품(차류)이 3종류였고, 방사능 분석은 고순도 게르마늄검출기가 장착된 감마선분광계로 수행하였다. 시료 중 $^{137}Cs$ 방사능 농도범위는 농산물이 MDA이하 ${\sim}650\;mBq/kg$ fresh 축산물 MDA이하 ${\sim}131\;mBq/kg$ fresh, 임산물 MDA이하 ${\sim}834\;mBq/kg$ fresh, 수산물 MDA이하 ${\sim}253\;mBq/kg$ fresh, 그리고 가공식품은 $32.0{\sim}483\;mBq/kg$ fresh 이었다. $^{40}K$의 경우는 농산물 $16.6{\sim}542\;Bq/kg$ fresh, 축산물 $39.1{\sim}294\;Bq/kg$ fresh, 임산물 $85.5{\sim}116\;Bq/kg$ fresh 수산물 $50.1{\sim}657\;Bq/kg$ fresh 그리고 가공식품$33.6{\sim}1,065Bq/kg$ fresh 범위였다. 시료 중 $^{137}Cs$ 방사능 농도가 가장 높은 것은 표고버섯으로 834 mBq/kg fresh 이었으며, $^{40}K$은 커피가 1,065 Bq/kg fresh로 가장 높았다. 각 식품류 중 $^{137}Cs$와 $^{40}K$에 의한 연간 유효선량은 농산물이 66,543 nSv로 가장 높았고, 축산물 19,311, 가공식품(차류) 6,648, 수산물 6,579 그리고 임산물 860 nSv 순으로 낮았으며, 이것을 모두 합한 총 연간 유효선량 값은 99,941 nSv 이었다. 본 연구에 포함된 식품의 1인당 연간 섭취량이 연간 총 식품 섭취량의 60%임을 감안해도 자연환경 중에서 이루어지는 외부피폭에 의한 연간 유효선량인 2,400,000 nSv에 비하면 무시 할 정도여서 평상시 식품섭취에 의한 방사선 내부피폭은 매우 미량이었다. 이상의 자료는 유사시 방사선에 의한 식품류 오염정도를 식별하는데 필수 불가결할 것으로 사료된다. This work was conducted to provide the reference data of radioactivity in the foodstuffs at a radiological emergency situation in Jeju Island The sampled foodstuffs were agricultural (31), livestock (6), marine (12) and forest products (4), and processed foods (3) consumed by Jeju Islanders. $^{137}Cs$ and $^{40}K$ activities were determined by HPGe r-ray spectromety. The activity ranges of $^{137}Cs$ was <MDA (less than mini mum detectable activity) ${\sim}650\;mBq/kg$ fresh in the agricultural products, <MDA${\sim}131\;mBq/kg$. fresh in the livestock, <MDA${\sim}834\;mBq/kg$ fresh in the forest, <MDA${\sim}253\;mBq/kg$ fresh in the marine and $32.0{\sim}483\;mBq/kg$. fresh in the processed foods (tea). In case of $^{40}K$ the activity was $16.6{\sim}542\;Bq/kg$. fresh in the agricultural products, $39.1{\sim}294\;Bq/kg$ fresh in the livestock, $85.5{\sim}116\;Bq/kg$ fresh in the forest, $50.1{\sim}657\;Bq/kg$ fresh in the marine, and $33.6{\sim}1,065\;Bq/kg$ fresh in the processed foods (tea). The highest activity of $^{137}Cs$, 834mBq/kg fresh was observed in oak mushroom and $^{40}K$ 1,065 Bq/kg fresh in coffee. Annual effective doses of $^{137}Cs$ and $^{40}K$ by intake of foodstuffs per capita were the following order; agricultural products (66,543 nSv) > livestock products (19,311 nSv) > processed foods (6,648 nSv) > marine products (6,579 nSv) > forest products (860 nSv). Therefore, total annual effective dose was summed 99,941 nSv which is quite low level comparing to the annual effective dose by external exposure, 2,400,000 nSv. The data obtained in this study can be useful for monitoring whether the foodstuffs are contaminated or not at an emergency radiation accident, and showed that the foodstuffs consumed in Jeju are safe in terms of annual effective dose of $^{137}Cs$ and $^{40}K$

        PNF를 이용한 아래등세모근 강화 운동이 동결견 환자의 통증, 관절가동범위 및 장애에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The study aimed to determine the effect of the proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) lower trapezius muscle strengthening exercise on pain, shoulder range of motion, and shoulder pain and disability index (SPADI) in patients with frozen shoulder. Methods: Following baseline measurements, 30 subjects (n=30) with frozen shoulder were randomized into two groups: the PNF group (n=15), which received PNF strength training of the lower trapezius muscles, and the control group (n=15), which received gentle palpation of the skin. Each group participated in the intervention for 30 minutes, three times per week, for six weeks. The visual analogue scales for pain, range of motion, and SPADI of both groups were recorded at both pre- and post-intervention. Paired t-tests were used to determine significant changes in the post-intervention period compared with pre-intervention, and independent t-tests were used to analyze differences in the dependent variables between the two groups. Results: After the six-week intervention, both groups experienced significantly decreased pain and SPADI (p < 0.05) and significantly increased shoulder flexion, abduction, internal rotation, and external rotation range of motion (p < 0.05). The PNF group that received the PNF strength exercise of the lower trapezius muscles showed greater improvements in pain and range of motion than those of the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: These results suggest that the PNF lower trapezius strengthening exercise reduces shoulder pain and disability levels and enhances shoulder range of motion in patients with frozen shoulder.

        고유수용성신경근촉진법 운동이 급성 목부염좌 환자의 통증과 목 장애지수 및 심부목굽힘근 지구력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) exercises on the neck disability index and deep neck flexor endurance of acute whiplash injury patients and to provide basic data for PNF exercises for musculoskeletal system disorder patients. Methods: Twenty acute whiplash injury patients were randomly assigned to an experimental group (n=10) and were treated with PNF exercises whereas a control group (n=10) underwent general exercises. Each session lasted 15 minutes and was performed five times a week for two weeks. The degree of pain was assessed using a visual analogue scale (VAS) and the degree of neck disability was measured by the neck disability index (NDI). Craniocervical flexor endurance (CCFE) tests were conducted to measure deep neck flexor endurance. Results: In terms of the intragroup changes in VAS, NDI, and CCFE, there were significant decreases in both the experimental and the control groups. After intervention, there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in terms of intergroup changes in VAS, NDI and CCFE. Conclusion: Although the exercises that are generally applied to acute whiplash injury patients are effective on the whole, PNF exercises are considered to be beneficial, given the improvements in the neck disability index and deep neck flexor endurance.

        Overload 효과를 고려한 Al 5083-O 용접부 피로 수명 예측

        In general, fatigue tests are conducted with a constant amplitude load to estimate the fatigue crack growth characteristics. However, vessels have variable amplitude loads because various forces are applied to them. So it is essential to consider variable amplitude loads and a constant amplitude load together. The existing data shows that fatigue crack propagation is retarded when the single or multiple tensile overloads are applied and they affect fatigue life. But there are no results of overload effect on weld metal (WM) and heat effect zone (HAZ) about Al 5083-O. This study investigates the fatigue crack growth rate characteristics of welded Al 5083-O considering the overload effects. The specimen of WM and HAZ are fabricated according to ASTM E647 and E8. Based on the results, it be successfully the fatigue retardation by the overload is investigated based on the Wheeler Model, and the fatigue life of structure can be successfully predicted from the test results.

        IPA 기법을 활용한 광명동굴 관광객의 중요도-만족도 분석

        본 연구는 최근 각광받고 있는 폐광 관광지인 광명동굴을 찾는 방문객들을 대상으로 중요도-성취도(IPA) 기법을 통해 대상지의 부족한 속성을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 광명동굴이 보유하고 있는 속성 20가지를 뽑아 방문 관광객들에게 설문조사를 실시하여 알아보고자 하였다. 설문 결과 20가지 속성 중 ‘비용(중요도 3.56, 만족도 3.40)’과 ‘갱도체험(중요도 3.57, 만족도 3.47)’ 2가지 속성이 IPA분석 결과 고중요 저만족에 속하는 2사분면에 속함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 광명동굴에서는 2가지 속성의 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 현재 책정되어 있는 입장료 조정이 필요해보이며, 아직 개방이 되지 않는 구간에 대해서는 과거의 모습을 보전하여 관람할 수 있도록 하는 방안을 통해서 관광객들의 만족을 높일 수 있을 것이라고 판단되었다. This study was designed to derive deficient characteristics of a target site through the Importance-Performance (IPA) technique for visitors to Gwangmyeong Cave, a recently-increased tourist site. To this end, the Gwangmyeong Cave selected 20 properties that it possesses and conducted a survey to find out. Among the 20 attributes surveyed, two properties of ‘Entrance Fee(Important 3.56, Satisfaction 3.40' and 'Mine experience(Important 3.57, Satisfaction 3.47' were among the high-important low-satisfaction categories in IPA analysis. In order to enhance the satisfaction of the two properties, the Gwangmyeong Cave has decided that the current admission fee adjustment needs to be made, and that the area that has not yet been opened can be preserved and enjoyed by tourists.

        연구보문 : 유기화합물 ; 환경 시료 중 신뢰도 검증을 위한 방사능 분석

        1998년부터 2006년까지 국내 방사능 교차분석에 참여하여 제주지역의 환경방사능 감시를 위한 방사능 분석 기술의 능력 검증과 신뢰도를 확보하기 위하여 수행되었다. 전베타방사능 분석 시료는 공기부유진 필터와 물이었고, 감마 분석은 토양과 물 시료 중 자연 및 인공 방사성 핵종들이었다. 전베타 방사능 분석 값은 1998년과 1999년 물 시료를 제외하고는 모두 신뢰도 범위내의 값을 가졌고, 감마 핵종은 토양시료 중의 40K와 137Cs 그리고 물 시료 중 몇 개의 핵종을 제외하고는 대부분 매우 우수한 평가를 받았다. 따라서 방사선 이상 사고시 원자력 안전을 위한 제주지역의 환경방사능 감시를 위한 신뢰도를 확보하여 자체적으로 환경방사능을 분석할 수 있는 능력을 함양하였다. The objective of this research was to assess the reliability of data and to improve nuclear analytical techniques concerning the Domestic Radioactivity Intercomparison program for environmental radioactivity monitoring of Jeju from 1998 to 2006. Gross beta for filter papers and water samples was determined, and gamma nuclides for natural and artificial nuclides in soil and water samples were analyzed. The gross beta activity of all samples except for the water samples of 1998 and 1999 showed a good agreement within the confidence intervals. In gamma nuclides, 40K and 137Cs of soil samples and most nuclides in the water samples, with the exception of several nuclides, were evaluated to be reliable. Based on these results, it is considered that a reliable method for the analysis and monitoring of environmental radioactivity were established, which may play an important role in case of emergency radiation accident.

        타이어 마모입자는 자동차의 주행 중, 도로와의 마찰에 의해 타이어 고무 입자와 도로 먼지와의 혼합형태로 발생하게 된다. 생성된 타이어 마모입자는 다양한 환경 요인(햇빛, 바람, 빗물)과 이동 과정을 통해 환경과 인간에 영향을 미칠 수 있다고 보고 된다. 본 연구에서는 타이어 마모입자에 의한 환경과 인체 영향에 대한 정확한 사실을 알리고자, 타이어 산업체 그룹의 연구 결과를 활용하여, 미세먼지 내 타이어 마모입자의 기여와 영향을 소개하고, 친환경타이어 개발에 관한 연구 사례를 제시하고자 한다.
