Irreducible fracture dislocation of the ankle associated with comminuted displaced fracture of posterior malleolus is rare. Locked posterior malleolar fragments interfere with reduction of fibula or talus in ankle fractures. Prompt recognition and appropriate surgical approaches are necessary to achieve anatomical reduction of the ankle fractures.
명문의 새로운 판독을 통해 본 울주 천전리각석의 성격과 가치

On the Cheonjeon-ri Petroglyphs in Uljoo, there are many inscriptions engraved during the Silla period. They can be called as a kind of visitors’ book on which some royal family, Hwarangs, and Buddhist monks wrote down their names after visiting Cheonjeon-ri area. This paper aims at introducing the contents of the inscriptions in detail and measuring their historical values. Recently a new minute investigation was carried out on the inscriptions of the Cheonjeon-ri Petroglyphs. By virtue of the new investigation, this paper deals with many unobserved things so far. And also a new way of understanding is presented about two of the most important inscriptions, Won-myoung(engraved in 525 AD) and Choo-myoung(engraved in 539). Madame Jeme and Madame Jiso are known as the names of the wife of Kim Yusin, who made great contribution to Silla’s unification of the Korean Peninsula. It can be clearly confirmed in Samguksagi that the latter, the third daughter of King Taejong Muyeol got married to Kim in 655. But at the present day, we have no document telling definitely that the former seen in Samgukyusa was Kim’s wife. So there has been some dispute on her identity. In this paper, I tried to examine the historical material related to the two women and reached such conclusions as follows. 1) It is true that Madame Jeme was Kim’s wife, as has been thought. 2) But Madame Jeme and Madame Jiso were not the very same woman. In fact, the former had been Kim’s first wife and after her death Kim was married again to the latter.
『삼국사기』 초기기록에 반영된 중국계 원전(原典) 사료의 독법(讀法) - 고구려본기 유리왕 31년조 기사의 검토를 중심으로 -

In this paper, I compared a Korean article from Samguksagi(『三國史記』) with a Chinese one from Hanshu(『漢書』), both of which deal with the war between Koguryo(高句麗) and Xin(新). The former says that Yeonbi(延丕), a Koguryo’s general was beheaded by Xin’s general Umwoo(嚴尤) in A.D. 12. However, to our surprise, the latter, which is the original article of the former, tells us that it was the very king of Koguryo whose name was Choo(騶), not the general, that was killed by Umwoo. The conclusions I have reached are as follows; 1) The incident actually happened in A.D. 12 that Umwoo killed Choo, not Yeonbi, as appeared in Hanshu. 2) Yeonbi was killed in a war, different from the incident in A.D. 12. 3) Choo is the abbreviation of Choomo(鄒牟), who has been regarded as the founder of Koguryo, one of the three ancient kingdoms of Korea. 아음속 저속 유동용 Pressure Sensitive Paint의 개발과 응용

고속 유동 속에 놓인 모델 표면의 압력분포를 정량적으로 측정하기 위해 PSP 기술이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 아음속 유동에 적용 가능한 PSP 기술을 개발하였다. 2가지의 백금계열(PtOEP와 PtFPP)의 발광분자와 2가지의 폴리머(poly (TMSP)와 RTV-118)를 사용하여 4가지의 PSP 조합을 만들어 그 성능을 확인하였다. 압력변화에 따른 PSP의 발광강도를 측정하기 위해 0~11㎪까지 0.5, 1, 2㎪씩 압력을 증가 시키면서 정적보정실험을 수행하였다. 4가지의 PSP 조성 중에 PtOEP와 RTV-118의 조합이 가장 좋은 성능을 보였다. 충돌평판에 작용하는 압력장 분포를 측정하기 위하여 경사충돌분류에 본 연구에서 개발된 PSP 기술을 응용하였다. The PSP technique has been used to measure pressure distribution on model surfaces ins high-speed flows. The objective of this study is to develop a PSP technique which can be applied to low-speed aerodynamic flows. Four different PSP formulations including two porphyrins (PtOEP and PtTFPP) and two polymers (Poly(TMSP) and RTV-118) were tested and the performance of each combination was evaluated. In a static calibration, the luminescent intensity of the PSP coatings was measured from 0㎪ to 11㎪ with 0.5, 1, 2㎪ increments. Among 4 PSP formulations tested, the combination of PtOEP and RTV-118 shows the best performance. The developed PSP technique was applied to an oblique impinging jet to measure the pressure field distribution on the impinging plate.
나제동맹(羅濟同盟)의 결성(結成) 배경(背景)과 고구려(高句麗)의 대외관계(對外關係)

Nihonshoki(日本書紀), an ancient history book of Japan has some records about the diplomatic relations between Koguryo(高句麗: one of the ancient Korean kingdoms) and Wa(倭: the ancient Japan). They have been suspected in relation to credibility since the first half of the last century. But the contents of them corresponds on the whole to the international circumstances during the 5th century. So we should not throw them away, but we need to examine the records more prudently. In this paper, I tried to find out how much they can be believable. And I have reached the conclusion that the four records showing the diplomatic contacts of two countries in the 28th and 37th year of Japanese king Ojin, and the 12th and 58th year of king Nintoku have trustworthiness enough. And by using the records, I made another attempt to newly examine the origin of the alliance between Silla(新羅) and Packche(百濟), which is known to be concluded in 433 AD. Most scholars have thought that it resulted from the very strong military pressure inflicted to the two kingdoms from Koguryo. They have not given any attention to the diplomatic relations of Koguryo and Wa. But through a close examination, I found that the establishment of the amicable relationship between two countries aroused so much anxiety to Packche and Silla, which had respectively been at enmity with Koguryo and Wa. So Packche and Silla could not help but to jointly respond to the new linking of Koguryo and Wa. It was the very reason that Packche and Silla reached the agreement on the military alliance.
참다래나무 보호를 위한 다공성 방풍펜스의 방풍효과 연구

In this study, the threshold wind speed from with the physical damage of Kiwi fruit plants start was investigated through wind tunnel experiments. Total 30 samples of Kiwi fruit branches were tested. On average, the wind speeds for tearing leaves and breaking side twigs from the main branch were about 20㎧ and 21.7㎧, respectively. For the cases of broken twigs, then average length and diameter were 587.5㎜ and 7.㎜, respectively. In addition, the shelter effect of porous wind fences which have been used at agricultural districts was investigated with varying several parameters.
