We have investigated the structure of the general relativistic polytrope(G.R.P.) of n=5. The numerical solutions of the general relativistic Lane-Emden functions ${\upsilon}\;and\;{\theta}$ for the ratio of the central pressure to the central density ${\sigma}=0.1$, 0.3, 0.5 and 0.8333 are plotted graphically. We may summarize the results as follows: 1. As the invariant radius $\bar{\xi}$ increases, the numerical value of the mass parameter ${\upsilon}$ does not approach toward the assymptotic limit, as it does in the classical case $({\upsilon}{\sim}{\sqrt{3}})$, but it increases continuously with progressively smaller rate as compared with the classical case. 2. When $\bar{\xi}$ is less than ${\sim}5.5$, the value of the density function ${\theta}$ drops more rapidly than the classical one, whereas when $\bar{\xi}$ is greater than ${\sim}5.5$, ${\theta}$ becomes greater than the classical value. For the greater values of ${\sigma}$ these phenomena become significant. 3. From the above results it is expected that the equilibrium mass of the G.R.P. of n=5 must be larger than the classical masse $({\sqrt{3}})$ and the mass is more dispersed than the classical configuration (i.e. equilibrium with infinite radius).

This article presents the results which investigated preservice secondary teachers` conceptions about seasonal changes(J National University). Samples consisted of 2th-grade, 3th-grade, and 4th-grade preservice secondary science teachers(74). Research method was paper -pencil test, and interviews. Their responses to these questions revealed considerable apparent alternative conceptions, and the study results proved that the item(distance theory) showing a high response rate of preservice secondary teachers` alternative conceptions. Because a great of this apparent inconsistency could be explained by assuming that the students used, in a consistent fashion, a alternative core belief about seasonal changes. This study was also discussed the core beliefs that preservice secondary teachers held to overcome their alternative conceptions. And there are significant differences among preservice secondary teachers` beliefs that deserve attention. I would like to argue that any their alternative conceptions approach must not specify an inclination to one variations(Kyungpook National Univ.)

We hate analysed astronomical contents described in 4 kinds of Earth Science-I textbooks currently used in high schools of Korea. Astronomical terminologies which have two or more Korean synonyms are investigated. We suggest to improve or correct synonyms used in different kind of Earth Science textbooks to avoid confusion and/or misconception. Appropriate sets of astronomical experiments and inquiry activities are chosen by considering laboratory circumstances in high schools.
연구논문 : SID 모니터링을 통한 전리층의 변화 관측 연구

이 연구의 목적은 전파가 전리층에서 반사되는 원리를 이해하고, 우주환경 변화가 전파 통신에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구를 위하여 SID모니터를 설치하고, 안테나를 제작하였다. SID 모니터로 일본 Evino에서 송신하는 22.2kHz 전파를 수신하였다. 수신된 전파의 세기를 이용하여 전리층 D층의 상태를 분석하였다. 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 저주파 통신은 규칙적인 일변화를 가지고 상태가 변하게 된다. D층의 생성, 소멸과 관련하여 저주파 통신은 일몰과 일출 직후 전파의 세기가 약해지는 현상이 나타난다. 태양의 남중고도에 따라 낮 시간 전파의 세기가 변하는 것을 관찰했다. 밤에는 D층이 사라져 매우 불규칙한 변화를 보인다. 전리층은 계절적인 변화를 비롯하여, 여러 요인에 의해 변하는 것으로 생각되며 보다 자세한 변화 과정을 이해하기 위해서는 긴 시간 동안의 전파 관측이 필요하다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of the ionosphere by monitoring VLF radio wave. For this purpose, we set up the SID(Sudden Ionospheric Disturbance) monitoring station in Pohang(36.03°N, 129.35°E), Korea receiving VLF radio wave(22.2kHz) transmitted from Ebino(32.04°N, 130.81°E), Japan. The observed data of radio wave intensities are analyzed to interpret the condition of the ionosphere. We can summarize the results as follows: Radio waves show regular daily variation. We can confirm the daily variation as a result of the formation of D layer. In relation to formation or extinction of D layer, intensity of radio wave gets weak right after sunrise and sunset. Southing altitude also affects the intensity of day time radio wave. At night when D layer disappears, the radio waves shows very irregular changes. The observed radio waves also shows the influence of the seasonal ionospheric variation. Long term observation could provide more detailed interpretation of daily as well as seasonal variation of ionosphere.

모바일 디바이스 보급이 확산되고 다양한 엠을 보다 쉽게 만들 수 있게 도와주는 저작도구들이 발표 되었으나 모바일 엠을 위한 텍스트의 디자인과 효과를 편집할 수 있는 저작도구는 부족하다. 본 논문 에서는 상호작용과 시각적 효과를 높일 수 있는 텍스트 편집 기능을 가지면서 설계 결과를 엠에 통합 하기 위한 저작도구를 제안한다. 이 저작도구를 통하여 사용자는 보다 편리하게 텍스트를 편집하고 실 행 화면을 미리 확인할 수 있다. 설계된 결과는 xml 데이터로 저장되고 이를 모바일 디바이스에서 실 행하기 위하여 실행환경의 텍스트 처리 라이브러리 클래스를 제공하고 이것을 엠의 개발자 코드에 통 합하는 방법을 제시한다.

Densities of the three constituent spheroids of the same eccentricity as our earlier model of the Galaxy are assumed to be given by an analytical form of $_{{\rho}i}$(r)=$k_ie^{-m_ir^u{_i}}$, where $k_i,\;m_i$, and ${\alpha}i$ are obtained by comparing with the results of the previous model. Using three values of $_{{\rho}i}$(r) the galactic rotation curve, mass of each spheroid and the whole Galaxy are calculated, and the three dimensional density distribution in the Galaxy is also obtained. The calculated rotation curve of the model Galaxy is in good agreement with the observed curve, and the shape of the cross section of the model Galaxy given by the computed density is very similar to the inferred shape of the spiral galaxies.

The problem of the collapse of a self gravitating disk is here considered. We show self-similar solutions for the above problem under a modified viscous parameter. Surface density depends on r$^m$ in the inner region, where m is -1.6. Therefore growing central mass goes on without mass inflow to the system.
