Purpose: To compare the intraocular pressure (IOP), retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness and central corneal thickness (CCT) in healthy individuals and patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) undergoing hemodialysis, and to evaluate the changes in each parameter before and after hemodialysis in patients with CRF. Methods: Thirty-six eyes of 36 patients with CRF undergoing hemodialysis were included in the hemodialysis group and 54 eyes of 54 healthy subjects were recruited as the control group. All subjects underwent a complete eye examination, including best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), slit lamp examination, dilated funduscopic examination, gonioscopy, automated perimetry, IOP measurement, corneal pachymetry, and evaluation of RNFL thickness. In the hemodialysis group, IOP, RNFL thickness, and CCT were measured again within 1 hour of hemodialysis. Results: Age, sex, BCVA, cup-to-disc ratio, IOP, and CCT were not statistically different between the 2 groups. The RNFL of the hemodialysis group was statistically significantly thinner than the control group (p < 0.001). The IOP decreased from 16.52 ± 2.95 mm Hg to 14.88 ± 2.03 mm Hg after hemodialysis (1.63 ± 3.27 mm Hg; p = 0.005). The changes in RNFL thickness and CCT were not statistically significant (p = 0.148, p = 0.352). Conclusions: In CRF patients with hemodialysis, RNFLs were thinner in the control group and hemodialysis induced significant IOP reduction. The results from the present study should be considered for the proper evaluation of ocular disorders in CRF patients with hemodialysis.

This research proposed the mixture mode type Mount using MR fluids and derived the equation of motion for the Mount system. Non dimensional function of the proposed MR dash pot, which made up of the design parameter related with the geometry and the Bingham character of MR fluids, is derived. The damping force model which consist of the function of electricity in oder to control damping force of MR Mount is deduced. Moreover, a appropriate size of the MR mount is designed and manufactured on the basis of Bingham model of MR fluid. In addition, the field-dependent damping forces of MR mount are evaluated with respect to the input frequency variation.
Recognition investigation on Wellness Tourism activities

Purpose - The purpose of this research is to examine the recognition on wellness tourism activities in Jeju based on spatial classifications such as natural healing space, non-medical healing space and semi-medical healing space by the degree of medical interference. Based on the results of these surveys, this study presents wellness activities to promote wellness tourism in the Jeju Special Self - Governing Province. Research, design, data and methodology - The degree of the recognition on wellness tourism activities has been investigated with a structured survey. And then, the degrees of importance and satisfaction on activities have been respectively analysed. For this purpose, the survey was conducted for domestic tourists visiting Jeju Island using structured questionnaires for domestic tourists visiting Jeju Island. In the questionnaire survey, a one - on - one interview was conducted with a tour guide who had a professional interviewer who was aware of the contents of the questionnaire through the pre - training on the meaning of the questionnaire. A total of 255 questionnaires were collected and analyzed as basic data. Basically, this study reclassified the wellness activities suggested by Kim (2018) and conducted a survey in connection with them. Results - Wellness tourism activities in Jeju are highly demanded. The results showed that the highest level of importance for each wellness activity was forest, traditional main dish, hiking. Wellness activities were followed by respiration, and postpartum care. The satisfaction level of wellness activities was highest in the order of forest, and hiking. The most satisfactory wellness activities Respiration, postpartum care center, and hydrotherapy. The degrees of importance and satisfaction on wellness tourism activities have been also estimated 82% and 72% high respectively. In particular, among the wellness tourism activities, hiking activities, forest activities, and food service in natural healing space have been measured significantly. Conclusions - The efforts of resource development and systematic promotion on wellness tourism activities are urgently needed for stimulus measures because of the high demand . Thus, it is time to establish an institutional basis and establish a dedicated administrative organization. In addition, resource development reflect regional characteristics are strongly needed.

정보기술환경이 모바일, 클라우드, BYOD 기반으로 변화함에 따라 새로운 취약점을 활용한 APT 공격 등의 보안위협이 증가하고 있다. 이에 대응하기 위해서는 보안 모델 또한 대응, 치료 중심에서 예방 중심으로 변화하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 새로운 공격으로부터 IT서비스의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위해 계정, 권한, 인증, 감사, 관리의 5A측면에서 보안위협요소에 대응할 수 있는 프로세스를 강화한 보안위험기반의 에어포트 모델을 제시한다.

Purpose: To report a case of fibrin pupillary block diagnosed by ultrasonic biomicroscopy (UBM) and treated by argon– neodymium:YAG (Nd:YAG) laser in a patient with uveitis. Case summary: A 56-year-old man visited the hospital for decreasing visual acuity and a sudden onset of pain in the right eye. Best corrected visual acuity was 0.02 in the right eye and 1.0 in the left eye. Intraocular pressure (IOP) was 48 mm Hg in the right eye and 18 mm Hg in the left eye. Slit-lamp examination revealed diffuse corneal stromal edema with Descemet's folds and uniform shallowing of the anterior chamber, with 360 degrees of peripheral iridocorneal touch in the right eye. A fibrin membrane was present across the pupil. UBM showed a fibrin membrane across the pupil, uniform shallowing of the anterior chamber, and peripheral angle closure. The lens was displaced posteriorly. A sequential Nd:YAG laser membranectomy was performed that same day, with immediate deepening of the anterior chamber and normalization of the IOP. Conclusions: UBM can play an invaluable role in the diagnosis of fibrin pupillary block by showing the presence of a fibrin pupillary membrane, accumulation of aqueous in the posterior chamber, and a clear separation between the iris and the lens. Nd:YAG laser membranectomy can be performed effectively in a fibrin pupillary block. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2011;52(1):117-121

There has been extensive experience associated with the operation of SGs wherein it was believed, based on NDE, that throughwall tube indications were present within the tubesheet. The installation of the SG tubes usually involves the development of a short interference fit, referred to as the tack expansion, at the bottom of the tubesheet. The tack expansion was usually effected by a hard rolling process and thereafter, in most instance, by the expansion of a urethane plug inserted into the tube end and compressed in the axial direction. The rolling process by its very nature is considered to be intensive with regard to metalworking at the inside surface of the tube and would be expected to lead to higher residual surface stresses. Alternate repair criteria(ARC) in the tack expansion area have been developed and applied to nuclear power plants in USA, however domestic nuclear power plants have not applied ARC for tubes in tubeheet area yet. In consideration of the degradation characteristics of tubes in the Steam Generator tubesheet, this paper suggests ARC application for tubes in the steam generator tubesheet of the domestic nuclear power plants in order to assure life time of the steam generator as well as nuclear power plants.
