In This study, investigated the bond characteristics of deformed bar embedded in biaxial hollow slabs with donut type hollow shapes. Analysis methods conducted with the pullout test methods using the nonlinear finite element program LUSAS for a parametric study on the bond characteristics of deformed bar embedded in biaxial hollow slabs. The main analyzed parameters were hollow sphere Rectangular type, Ellipse type, Sphere type, Donut type.

파르메니데스는 단편 2에서 사유를 위한 탐구의 길이 둘 있다고 이야기한다. 하나는 ‘있다라는, 그리고 있지 않을 수 없다라는 길’이고, 다른 하나는 ‘있지 않다라는, 그리고 있지 않음이 필연적이다라는 길’이다. 하지만 여기에 붙어있는 양상문의 역할은 제대로 해명되지 않은 채로 이 두 길은 그냥 ‘있다라는 길’과 ‘있지 않다라는 길’이라고 불려왔다. 본 논문은 파르메니데스가 했던 작업이 맥락-상대적으로 사용되었던 단어인 그리스어 ‘einai(있음)’를 맥락을 초월해서 고정불변의 의미를 가지는 것으로 설정하는 작업이었으며, 양상문은 그의 작업이 그러한 성격의 것임을 보여주기 위한 장치였다고 제안한다. 이렇게 보면, 첫 번째 길은 ‘있지 않음이 섞여있지 않은 것으로서의 있음’의 길이고, 두 번째 길은 ‘있음이 섞여있지 않은 것으로서의 있지 않음’의 길이다. 그러면 ‘있음과 있지 않음이 섞여있는 것으로서의 의견의 길’의 지위가 분명해지며, 파르메니데스의 시에 등장하는 길이 모두 몇 개이며 단편의 각 부분이 어떤 길에 해당하는지와 관련한 많은 혼란이 해소될 수 있다. In Fragment 2, Parmenides says that there are two ways for thinking. One is the way that it is and that it is not possible not to be, and the other is the way that it is not and that it is necessary not to be. However, these two ways have been called the way that it is and the way that it is not, without proper explications of the existence of the modal parts. This paper suggests that what Parmenides did in his poem was to set up the Greek word einai (to be) as having a context-independent meaning, and that the modal parts were the device to show that he was doing just that. With this understanding, the first way turns out to be the way of being that is free of non-being, and the second way to be the way of non-being that is free of being. The status of the way of Doxa, then, becomes clear as the way that combines being and non-being, and the confusions about how many ways there are in Parmenides’ poem and about which part of his poem belongs to which way can be explained away.

Branch duct intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (BD-IPMNs) are characterized by cystic dilation of secondary ducts clearly communicating with a normalsized main pancreatic duct and seem to have a less aggressive clinical course than those arising from the main duct. BD-IPMNs are related to pancreatitis but the causal relationship is unclear. We report a case of a 62-year-old woman initially thought to have pseudocysts complicated by idiopathic recurrent pancreatitis but was finally diagnosed with BD-IPMN leading to recurrent acute pancreatitis attacks. The patient had six episodes of acute pancreatitis over 5 years. An abdominal computed tomography scan revealed two cystic lesions of 2.0 and 1.5 cm in the pancreatic body, which appeared at the second episode of acute pancreatitis. Each pancreatitis episode improved with conservative treatment, but the cystic lesions increased in size to 2.5 and 3.5 cm during the late follow-up period. A distal pancreatectomy was performed under the diagnosis of recurrent pancreatitis caused by BD-IPMN. The pathological findings revealed BD-IPMN with moderate dysplasia. We herein present a case of BDIPMN mimicking pancreatic pseudocysts with a review of the literature. Korean J Pancreatobiliary 2015;20(2):94-98

This paper presents in-plane seismic behaviors of the rocking-critical unreinforced masonry walls. Reliable approaches to accurately assess the seismic capacity (strength, stiffness and energy dissipation capacity) of the walls are investigated on the basis of the experimental results. In addition, the practical strength and stiffness formulas are proposed by modifying the theoretical formulae. In particular, a design chart, predicting the ultimate strength of the walls, is developed using the proposed strength formula. The experimental results show that the proposed formulas and the design chart are rationally predict the seismic capacity of the walls.
