본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 프리젠테이션시 사용 가능한 효율적인 스케쥴러를 제안한다. 제안 된 스케쥴러는 정확한 동기화의 버퍼의 효율적인 사용을 위해 각 모노미디어 객체를 여러개의 부객체로 분할하며, 프리젠테이션을 최적화하는 선반입 순서와 크기를 결정한다. 선반입 순서는 각 부객체의 가장 늦은 시작 시간 (latest start time) 순으로 하며, 최적의 크기는 부객체의 크기를 변화시키면서 스케쥴링 작업을 반복 수행하여 찾아낸다. 제안된 스케쥴러의 타당성을 보이기 위해 선반입 순서가 버퍼 사용량에 칸 영향을 미치지 않음을 보이고, 또한 스케쥴러가 부객체의 최적의 크기를 결정함을 실험을 통해 보였다. In this paper, we propose an efficient scheduler for multimedia presentation This scheduler represents each monomedia object as a list of subobjects for efficient buffer usage and correct synchronization. It determines prefetch ordering and size of subobjects that are optimal for multimedia presentation The prefetch ordering is determined according to the latest start time. and the optimal size of subobjects is determined by repeated scheduling with various subobject sizes. To show the validity of this scheduler, we show that prefetch ordering has little effect on buffer usage. And we also show that the scheduler determines optimal subobject size based on the experimental results.
전방십자인대 재건술 환자에 대한 비손상측과 손상측 간의 하지 근수축 특성 비교

Background: The purpose of this study was to identify the comparison of the muscle contractile properties on lower extremity between non-injury and injury in subjects with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). Methods: Twenty-four subjects on the post-operative ACLR participated in this study. Measurement method were using tensiomygraphy to analyze the displacement maximum(Dm) and contraction time(Tc) on the both quadriceps. Results: Compared difference of the Dm between non-injury and injury, the rectus femoris (RF) and vastus lateralis (VL) increased significantly (p<.01). However, vastus medialis (VM) no significantly difference between non-injury and injury. Compared difference of the Tc between non-injury and injury, the RF increased significantly (p<.01) but VL and VM no significantly difference between non-injury and injury. Conclusions: These findings suggest that occurred muscle atrophy of the RF and VL and change properties of muscle fibers on the RF from fast muscle fibers to slow muscle fibers on the injury side of post-operative ACLR. Therefore, when apply to rehabilitation of lower extremity for post-operative ACLR, we should consider the enhance of RF and VL on injury side.

It is well known that a method of liquid flow-rate measurement in closed conduits by measuring the mass of liquid delivered into a weighing tank is the most accurate way to calibrate flowmeter for liquid. Most of developed countries already had a standard calibration system using this method and this could cover enough range of flow-rate to satisfy the calibration demands of industry. KWATER(Korea Water Resources Corporation) constructed the biggest flow-meter calibration system in Korea and evaluated the uncertainty of the system.

The vortices, such as free surface vortex and submerged vortex, occurring around or at bell-mouth inlet have been important flow characteristics which always should be considered to keep away from the suction of air-entertained or cavitated flow. The suction of air-entertained or cavitated flow is caused by unfavorable approach flow patterns at suction inlet. The flow patterns are subjected to suction well configurations and pump operation conditions. The Hydraulics Institute and Turbomachinery Society of Japan standards have some regulations for the upstream flow of the pumps to be steady and uniform. However, existing domestic suction wells generally have a partition with opening (including gate), which disturbs the steady and uniform flow, between suction well and regulation well. In this research, many model tests were conducted to observe the generation of vortex in the representative model of suction wells, which were most commonly used in KOWACO's pumping stations. The result of model tests was compared with recommendations of previous standards. The optimum suction well and guidelines of sump design are presented.

멀티미디어 표현(Presentation)은 각 모노미디어 데이타들의 동기화된 조합으로 볼 수 있으며, 동기화는 올바른 표현을 하기 위한 가장 중요한 요구 조건중의 하나이다. 본 연구는 멀티미디어 생성 과정중 저작 및 표현 과정에서 사용될 수 있는 시나리오 편집기 MiniS 시스템에 관한 것이다. MiniS는 여러 개의 모노미디어 데이타들을 조합하여 하나의 멀티미디어 데이타로 만드는 데 필요한 시나리오를 작성하는 기능을 제공하며, 이를 기반으로 간단한 표현 작업도 가능하다. 또한 표현시에 생성되는 여러 프로세스들은 사용자가 MiniS를 통해 기술한 시나리오에 따라 모노미디어들간의 동기화를 고려하여 스케쥴링되므로 정확한 동기화를 이룰 수 있다.
