        한국에 있어서의 학교급식개선을 위한 연구 II. 자활급식 2년간의 관찰

        It is obvious that adequate nutrition is essential for growth and development of school children, and many elementary schools in this country have already practiced it. Therefore, it would seem apparent that the school feeding program would have a significant effect on the growth and development of school children. This paper presents a two-year experimental school-feeding program from 1973 to 1974, and attempts to evaluate its effects by before-and-after nutrition surveys conducted in two elementary schools, one experimental and the other as a control. The two schools are both located in the same county (Yongin-Kun, Kyunggi-Do), and the families of their students are presumed to share the same socio-economic level. To assess the effect of school-feeding, we measured height, weight, chest circumference and grasping power. Physical examination was done foresigns of nutritional deficiency. A stool examination for parasites and blood examinations for hemoglobin, hematocrit and serum protein were included. Analyses were done for 150 students selected randomly at the beginning of the program. These students attended the school throughout the program period. Results are as follows: 1. The amount of increase of height, weight, chest cirumference and grasping power were greater in the experimental school than in the control school, but the differences are not statistically significant. 2. Signs of vitamin deficiency decreased in both experimental and control schools during the two-year program period. 3. At the time of the 1974 post-survey, values of Hb. & Hct. revealed no significant differences between the two schools, but serum protein level was a little higher than that of general Korean rural children of the same age. 4. Infestation rate of parasites had increased in both schools during the two-year program period. 5. Each student of the two schools was classified into three major classes, according to the level of economic condition of his or her parents, namely higher, middle and lower. The results of each class of the experimental school was compared with that of the corresponding class of the control school, expecting the relative magnitude of change largest in the lower economic class of the experimental school. However, change was greatest in the middle class, still not being statistically significant. Finally, the authors concluded that the two-year period for such a program is not sufficiently long for its beneficial effects to be demonstrated and measured. As long as the growth and development of children are concerned, planning with a more distant perspective is required, as well as the development of new methods of evaluation.

        N/A Particle-reinforced metal matrix composites via the Osprey spray casting process were fabricated by injecting second phase particles of Al₂O₃(<40㎛) and W(6㎛) into the spray of Cu droplets, and the thermal behaviors of the composite droplets during flight were considered theoretically on the basis of mixing modes between the Cu droplets and the reinforced particulates injected. It was found that the W-injected spray is comprised of particle-embedded droplets, and the Al₂O₃-injected spray comprises particle-attached droplets. From the predicted results of the thermal behaviors of the composite droplets and preforms produced, it is concluded that the thermal behaviors of the composite droplets during flight, and during the subsequent deposition are strongly influenced by its mixing modes between the reinforced particulates and Cu droplets during flight.

        The improvements of the propulsive engine efficiencies could reduce the fuel consumption. Therefore. for a marine main diesel engine the substantial increase of stroke bore ratio. so that the engine speed can be significantly reduced in order to increase the Propulsive efficiency. As a typical example. a Sulzer RTA 60C engine has acylinder diameter of 600 mm and each cylinder is capable of delivering 2.369 kW in the speed range 91-114 rpm. In order to Provide basic data for thermal system of marine engine. this work performs an experimental study of heat transfer in a square channel with one rib-roughened wall under sin91e mode of reciprocating oscillation. A selection of heat transfer measurements illustrates the manner by which the reciprocating channel with two opposite heating walls has the higher heat transfer Performance than with four heating wall.

        고 에너지 방사선으로 용적이 적은 표재성 종양 및 부정형의 체표면과 경사진 조사야에 대한 방사선 치료시 종양 용적내에 균등한 선량분포를 얻기 위해서 Wedge filter 기법이 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 코발트 $60{\Gamma}$선 치료를 위한 Semi-Universal Wedge filter의 제작과 임의의 조사야에 대한 최적한 출력 및 정확한 조작방법을 기술하고 방사선 치료계획의 최적화를 기하기 위해서 Wedge filter의 임상응용 방법을 제시하고자 한다. Wedge filter are used in high energy radiation therapy to obtain uniform isodose lines at small volume tumor and irregular body surface. The aim of this study is not only to describe the method of construction and setting of semi-universal wedge filter for $^{60}Co$ radiation therapy but also to get the optimum treatment planning by clinical application of wedge filter.

        병실내 소음도와 환자와의 관계

        In this study noise source in a ward at four general hospitals in Seoul area has been investigated and analysed. The degree of reaction against noise by 171 randomly has also been examined. The results of the study have shown that the source of noise is the speakers of wired broadcasting or from visiting guests in two hospitals located in residential area. The patients at the two other hospitals located at commercial site have been suffered more from traffic noise. However, because of their separated living at hospital from their ordinary houselife, sixty one percent of the inpatients have wished a music sound of around 60 dB (A). After having considered the results of the investigation and wishes of the inpatients, following suggestions have been made: 1. Reduce the number of guests or their length of stay. 2. Wired broadcasting system should be substitued by wireless one, or if it's unavoidable, it should be used in office rooms only. 3. Since the stops and starts of vehicles induce much noise, Seoul City Government be requested to prepare an appropriate administrative measure for the vehicles around hospital area and it should prevent the establishment of new hospitals along high way site. 4. By using earphone, inpatients can choose a wireless channel according to each individual's taste. This through the masking effect, would cover up the noise source. 5. Rooms along the streets should be utilized as offices, otherwise double windows should be set up for inpatient's wards. 서울시내 4개 종합병원에 대한 병실내 소음원을 조사 측정하고 상호영향관계를 검토하였다. 입원환자 171명을 무작위 추출하여 소음에 대한 반응도를 조사하여 측정된 소음과 비교 검토하였다. 결과적으로 거주지역에 위치한 2개의 병원은 유선방송의 스피커소리와 방문객에 의한 소음이 크고 상업지역에 위치한 2개의 병원은 교통소음이 크게 환자의 불평대상이 되고 있다는 결과를 얻었다. 그러나 61%의 환자들은 가정과 분리된 병원생황의 영향으로 약 60dB (A)의 음악 또는 기타소리를 원하고 있었다. 이런점을 고려하여 다음과 같은 방법으로 소음을 감소시킬 수 있을 것이다. 1. 보호자이외의 방문객수 및 체류시간을 단축시킨다 2. 병원내의 유선방송을 폐지시키고 무선통신방법을 활용한다. 부득이한 경우 사무실 위주로 방송한다. 3. 차량의 정지, 출발 그리고 가속시에 발생하는 소음의 영향을 감안하여 서울시당국에서 병원주위도로를 통행하는 차량에게 적당한 행정조치를 하고 고가도로 건설을 피하게 한다. 4. 병실내 환자의 기호에. 따라 들을 수 있는 청취장치를 (이어폰을 사용)하여 Masking Effect로 소음을 음폐토록 한다. 5. 도로변에 인접할 병실은 가능한한 사무실로 사용하고 병실로 사용시는 이중창을 장치하도록 한다.

        주증황련(酒蒸黃連)이 iNOS 활성 억제를 통해 생쥐 위.십이지장 점막에 미치는 영향

        Objectives: This study was carried out to investigate the protective effect of Coptidis Rhizoma steamed with rice wine (CR) against gastroduodenal mucosal injury through inhibiting inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) activation. Methods: In in vitro experiment, LPS-induced RAW 264.7 macrophages were treated with CR(0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 mg/ml) and iNOS mRNA expression and nitric oxide (NO) production were measured. In in vivo experiment normal group mice were treated with neither ethanol nor CR. Both control and sample group mice were orally administrated with ethanol. Five hours after ethanol administration control group mice were orally administrated with distilled water, sample group mice were orally administrated with CR. After three days administration, gastroduodenal mucosa of mice was observed histopathologically and iNOS, nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-${\kappa}B$) activation were observed immunohistochemically. Results: In in vitro experiment iNOS mRNA expression and NO production in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 macrophages were decreased by CR dose-dependently. In in vivo experiment, gastroduodenal mucosal injury was repaired by CR and iNOS, NF-${\kappa}B$ activation in gastroduodenal mucosa were decreased by CR. Conclusions: Coptidis Rhizoma steamed with rice wine has a protective effect against gastroduodenal mucosal injury through inhibiting iNOS activation.

        InterCom : 에이전트 기반 인터넷 컴퓨팅 환경 설계 및 구현

        네트워크와 컴퓨터 기술의 발달로 물리적으로 분산된 컴퓨터를 하나의 자원으로 사용하려는 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 일반적으로 이러한 연구들은 메시지 패싱을 기반으로 하는 환경을 개발하는 것이 주류를 이루고 있다. 이러한 환경은 보통 과학계산용 문제를 풀기 위해 많이 사용되고 주어진 문제의 내부병렬성을 이용하여 병렬처리 하게 된다. 따라서 보통 이러한 환경에서는 고도의 병렬성을 얻을 수 있다는 장점이 있는 반면에, 프로그래밍이 어렵고, 사용하기가 어려우며, 분산된 컴퓨터에 사용자의 계정이 있어야 한다는 단점이 있다. 그런데 만일 주어진 문제가 완전히 독립적인 작은 문제를 분할된다면 더욱 효율적인 환경을 만들 수 있다. 이러한 문제 유형은 생물정보학, 3차원 애니메이션, 그래픽스 등에 많이 준재하며, 이를 위한 새로운 환경 개발은 매우 중요한 연구라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 효율적으로 처리하는 프록시 컴퓨팅 기반의 InterCom이라는 새로운 환경을 제안하고, 이들 구현한 것에 대해서 설명한다. 이 환경은 에이전트, 서버, 클라이언트로 구성되어 있다. 이 환경의 장점은 프로그래밍하기가 쉽고 분산된 모든 컴퓨터에 사용자 계정이 없어도 되며, 분산되는 코드를 자동 컴파일해 줌으로써 사용하기 쉽다는 것이다. Development of network and computer technology results in many studies to use physically distributed computers as a single resource. Generally, these studies have focused on developing environments based on message passing. These environments are mainly used to solve problems for scientific computation and process in parallel suing inside parallelism of the given problems. Therefore, these environments provide high parallelism generally, while it is difficult to program and use as well as it is required to have user accounts in the distributed computers. If a given problem is divided into completely independent subproblems, more efficient environment can be provided. We can find these problems in bio-informatics, 3D animatin, graphics, and etc., so the development of new environment for these problems can be considered to be very important. Therefore, we suggest new environment called InterCom based on a proxy computing, which can solve these problems efficiently, and explain the implementation of this environment. This environment consists of agent, server, and client. Merits of this environment are easy programing, no need of user accounts in the distributed computers, and easiness by compiling distributed code automatically.

        전자무역의 기술 동향 분석

        전자무역 기술 관련 동향의 흐름은 기능적이고 계층적 측면으로 서비스와 어플리케이션, 네트워크계층으로 발전해 가고 있는데, 대부분의 계층적 분야가 전자무역 확산이 본격화되기 이전에 정립되다 보니 기존의 체계는 국제교역 관점의 기술을 포괄하는데 한계가 있게 되었다. 따라서 이 같은 한계를 극복하기 위해 새로운 기술 동향의 정책 정립이 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 기술 분야의 기업간 통합을 포함하여 내부적 네트워크 및 이에 따른 문제점과 개선방안을 제시하였다. 또한, 전자무역이 새로운 기술 환경에서 제공하는 가능성과 이것이 기업들에 미치는 효과를 제시하였다. The trend of the electronic trade related with technology has been developed into the steps of service, application networks in its technical skill and scopes. But most fields for the steps were established before the electronic proliferation of the electronic trade and so the existing systems have had a limit in including the viewpoints for the international trade. Accordingly, to cover the limit, the policies for the new technical trend are necessary. In this article, the international networks, problems and improvement plans including the integration between companies in the technical sides are presented. And further the possibility and effects on the companies which are given by the electronic trade in the new technical circumstance are also presented.
